I met John Ritter in Hawaii in 1985 after Three’s Company wrapped. He was staying at the same hotel. He was the nicest guy you could meet. So down to earth and so friendly. I had his autograph, but lost it over the years. I’m sure you would agree that ‘Up in the Air’ from season 6 is the best and most funniest episode. In fact, it was the episode that got him the Emmy win. RIP John Ritter. Your brilliant comedy is missed.
That's amazing that you ran into John Ritter. He sounds like he was a real nice guy. He is missed. Also , I can't agree with you more on the "Up in the air episode" or "The Rocket" as I like to call it. John Ritter is brilliant and out of control in this episode. It's so physical, and amazingly well choreographed. To get all of the sight gags to work must have been difficult to pull off. It's my favorite episode too.
I sat down to read because I have always wanted to meet John when I worked in tv and movies, I got to work with his son once on a movie called the perfect age of rock and roll. Mimi’s John all the time
Wife and I have been watching through this on PlutoTV recently. First time through it, and even at the tender young age of 35...I LOVE it. I've always been HUGE on the Dean Martin roasts, his variety hour show, but never gave Threes Company a chance until recently. Hate that it took so long to find something so golden.

Just so amazing. Absolutely loved the segment with the bike fall into the sand and seeing the apartment from the outside (glad you didn't knock). Thank you for posting this. Just incredible.
I remember going to the Pier around 1982-83 when it still looked like that and the L.A.ZOO as well. Great video man. Loved that show, actually watching it as I type. Cheers
TheDailyWoo , Adam I love these “filming locations” videos. In fact the very first video I ever saw of yours was where you went to Chicago and did the “Family Matters” and “Married With Children” filming locations. I don’t even know how I stumbled on your channel originally. I enjoy your content. Even earlier this year during lockdown when you did the different “famous eatery’s” each day.

Great video! I had the pleasure of meeting John Ritter in 1990, at Disneyland. He was there filming a morning show called AMLA, starring Steve Edward's and Christina Ferrare. John was super nice! He was standing in the back, behind the cameras, waiting to go on. He noticed that I was chewing gum, and signaled that he wanted a piece. My wife and I went over to him, gave him some gum, and chatted for a few. He took a pic with my daughter, and I cherish it to this day. It was funny to watch the morning show the following week , and see him chewing the gum I gave him. Lol.
I always watched Threes Company with my grandma. We both loved John Ritter and Normal Fell and later Don Knotts. I’d give all of my belongings for a time machine.

@@TheDailyWoo your looking very much healthier than before. Keep up the great work my friend. You are really appreciated in these times of chaos. God bless you 🙏👍
Three's Company is one of my favorite sitcoms along with Frasier. Both very well written. My favorite episode is when Jack Tripper puts on a hat and pretends to be his twin brother 'Austin' from Texas. They get Mr. Furley drunk and he believes they're both in the room. Never laughed so hard. Good to see you trimming down Adam. You and Jordan the Lion are my favorite vloggers. RIP John Ritter.
@Chris Terry I've seen some episodes of Three's a Crowd and The Ropers. I think they had different writers on those shows, cause they're not as good. Didn't last more than a season or two as i remember.
@Chris Terry Thanks Chris sounds right. Like you said, not terrible shows..but didn't have the great stories of the originals. Norman Fell should have stayed with 3s Company, but then we wouldn't have had Don Knotts!
One of my favorite tv shows of all time. I was 10 years old when I started watching Three's company. Still watching reruns! I've probably watched every episode about 20 times, lol. I'm actually watching an episode now, lol. God bless & RIP to the ones that have passed away on Three's company over the years. 🙏❤Great video!
Three’s Company to this day is still one of my fave sitcoms! My fave episode is when Jack and Mr. Furley are locked in the freezer 🥶 together! This video is great! 😁😄🙂 💯
I like the episode where Mr Roper got drunk the night before and wakes up in Jack's bed Thinking that they fooled around and Jack teasing him about it!.
I couldn't agree more! That is also one of my favorite episodes as well. Jack, and Mr. Furley were both comic legends and they were magic together. I also loved the episode where Jack played Grandma Tripper in order to win that baking competition. Just an amazing show, and such an intricate part of my childhood.
i’m 21 and was raised on threes company. still one of my favorite shows and i’m on my second box set ! this is so amazing thank you for bringing happiness during such dark times :)
Just rewatching this again today, you did a great job finding everything! I wish the zoo entrance was still the same, but glad the flamingo, lion, and elephant area are still there! The zoo, the pier and the beach… holy ground! John will always be remembered as one of the best comedic actors ever. Wish you and I could have met him.
I watched this show growing up. Loved it! I always associate Santa Monica to Three’s Company. Also the shots of the LA Zoo in the opening credits. Have to visit the flamingo exhibit at every time! I thought it was funny how their rent was only $300! Thx for the video!
OMG I was waiting for years for someone to make a video like this! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort! Much appreciated! I live in Los Angeles and every time I visit the Santa Monica Pier I'm always thinking of the Three's Company intro and it makes me sad so many of the stars of the show are now gone. It must have been a fantastic experience to meet Joyce DeWitt. I've always wished to meet any of the cast members and now there are so few of them still alive. I think it's pretty much Joyce DeWitt, Suzanne Somers, Priscilla Barnes, Jenilee Harrison, and Richard Kline. I have all the episodes and pilots in my computer and never tire of watching them. Love the show and always will!
Well that's only because it's hilarious!! That's cool you have them all like that, definitely a show that you can still find on TV too, along with The Ropers and Three's Company Too.
Thank you so very much for this video! I was born in 1961 so grew up with Three's company. The original cast is my favorite. Roper's were great. Stanley the funniest. Chrissy best of the female roommates. Don't know why Cindy was hired. Ralph Furley was good. RIP John Ritter. We miss you. Left us too soon.
My number 1 favorite show of all time. I didn't watch it until the late 90's or early 2000's. I can watch each episode over and over and enjoy it just as much as the first time.

I was looking for that zoo entrance on 'maps' but couldn't find it. Figured that they totally remodeled the entire thing as you said. This is probably the best video I've seen on yt regarding filming locations. Thank you!
Absolutely loved this show when I was a kid! One of my faves! John Ritter is one of the all-time greatest actors to do such flawless physical comedy and actually make me laugh! This entire ensemble cast was one of the best ever! Loved them all! Thank you for this video!
This was such a great video. I loved the story about you meeting Joyce. I agree she and John were the characters that held it all together. They had such chemistry and should have ended up together. Jack and Janet both winding up with two random people they meet in the last few episodes was stupid.
The last time I was in Santa Monica I ate in the British Pub / Restaurant. Charming décor inside and the food was great. Picked up a jar of mint jelly at their store on the way out. And of course like all kids of the 70's and 80's I watched Three's Company, every episode I'm sure!
Three's Company is my all-time favorite show, John is my all-time fave for his comedic talent but also a great, humble guy in his personal life. I got the opportunity to do this several years ago & it was awesome being there where they'd been! Thanks for the great vid, fellow TC fan!!
What a fun & interesting video to watch!! Thank you so much for ALLLLL the research, work and touring you put into this! It was FANTABULOUS!!! Awesome job!! 😊👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Three's Company is one of my all time favorites. I was actually wondering the other day why no one has seemed to really do the filming locations of this great show and then I seen you uploaded this today. Thanks Adam!!
Growing up in Southern California in the '80s I used to love going to the LA Zoo to see the filming location of Three's Company's opening credits as much as I liked going to see the animals. My dad and I used to sing the theme song as we walked up that broad entranceway path. The entrance from the '70s and '80s was so much more elegant with the white walls and the waterways. The current one is modern, but doesn't have the same sort of charm.
Thanks for taking us to the places where they shot Three’s Company. I love that show. It’s amazing that some of those areas look the same after all these years.
that had to be one of my favorite vlogs. Growing up Three's Company was my favorite show. Always loved John Ritter and his style of comedy. Thank you for doing this!!!

Big thumbs up mr woo!! I have to say I really do like all of your content! But I’m on the filming location bandwagon you do such a great job with these videos! What I want to tell you is it’s YOU we tune in to see ! Always enjoy the zaniness of the woo no matter what the particular episode is about! You always have a way of keeping us interested! I’ve said this before but the only other person that kept tuned in like that was huell howser And from watching your meet and greets and interactions with folks you have huell’s way with people! I can tell you really enjoy making people happy and you do make us happy especially in this unhappy wired time ! So thanks buddy stay safe out there
THANK YOU 🙏 does not cover my sincere gratitude for posting this gem! Three’s company will always be ‘home’ and ‘comfort’ for me. There will never be a comedy on par with it. I know every single episode word for word but yet I still play the episodes almost daily while I do house tasks it is like having family conversing in the background❤
Adam, thank you for this video, Three's Company is one of my most favorite sitcoms. I was extremely lucky to have met John Ritter in 1993 at St Anne's Roundup in Pensacola Florida where he was the guest of honor. He was extremely friendly, and on that particular day, I remember he sat in the gazebo and gave every single person in line, an autograph and that line was LONG! My mom and I got some pictures and he signed my then 1 yr old sons birthday card "Happy burp day to you". lol He was awesome! Got to meet Joyce DeWitt and Priscilla Barnes at a convention in Orlando a couple years after John passed away. The feeling of his loss was still raw for us all. Amazing people! FYI: The Ole Kings Head has the best Shepherds Pie and Fish and chips.. Got to eat there in 2011 during our California trip. Thank you for the memories Adam :)
You had mentioned John Ritter in your latest video at Epcot and it prompted me to show my 17 yr old my favorite show growing up…”Jack and Janet”. We then came across this video of yours! Just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed seeing it all. You put in so much work to show us all! I especially loved seeing his grave site. John Ritter was one of the best. His passing was such a devastating loss. Just wanted to say thanks!
Phenomenal video, Adam. John Ritter was so talented and enriched the lives of so many of us. You've shown so much respect to John, and Joyce and others as well. Yet another solid addition to the Adam the Woo catalog!
Soooo glad you finally did this!! It was cool seeing some of these spots when I visited and now seeing it all put together with your research!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (and like I told you - John Ritter as an evil robot in an episode of Buffy is one of my favorite things he’s done!)
As much as I like seeing videos everyday this kind of well thought out content is well worth the wait. I love going to famous places and seeing what they look like today. 👍
The tap-dancing flamingo was adorable! I really appreciated all of the work you put into this vlog! So many details. It was nice to see some relics stillr remaining after all of these years. I loved the photo of you and Joyce Dewitt! She still looks the same! She is right you do have some kind of a John Ritter-esque type of personality...yet your personality is all your own too!!
Loved this video! I discovered through research on Ancestry that John Ritter is my 5th cousin twice removed. It was fun finding that distant connection.
Great video Adam. You always do a great job matching shots up... I always watch twice to make sure I don’t miss anything. Thanks for all the time you put in... ☮️🎥
I watched this show a ton when I was little. It was so funny 😂 that’s so cool you met Janet and she reminded you of John!!! Wow that’s so amazing 🤯 thanks for sharing that experience. 👊🏻
Three"s company, best sitcomb, I have every single episode of three"s company! John Ritter has always & still always makes me laugh, every time I watch that show, I laugh just as hard as I did when I first started watching it, never do you see a comedy genius that can add such physical laughter to his talent as well!
Met John at a coffee shop in Brentwood back in 1994. I was a mormon missionary stopping in one morning with our investigator getting some orange juice and he was in line. Briefly spoke and handed him an Articles of Faith card. Nice dude.
This was interesting. We enjoyed watching. Can’t wait to see what other filming locations you take us to. Also, good job on your weight loss. You look great. You inspired us to get healthy too.
Adam your videos are mind-blowing. I can't even imagine the amount of hours and research that it would take to put a video like this together. Growing up as what I refer myself to as an eighties kid, three's company was by far one of my favorite shows. I always had the biggest crush on Joyce DeWitt and in my opinion she was by far the prettiest girl on that show. I think to this day I would crawl across a mile of broken glass just to go out on a date with her. LoL. Wow that's really cool. I think it's neat that you got to meet her. I'm a little jealous of you and LeVar Burton for obvious reasons LoL. Keep up the great work this video and your back to the future videos are by far some of your best work!!!!! Your passion for this stuff comes through in your videos and we love to watch!!!!!!
Adam thank you so much for doing the Threes Company locations.😃👍👍👍❤❤❤ Adam the Woo your awesome my friend.Thank you again.Threes Company was a classic show and still holds up today.👍👍👍✌😃❤Fantastic video my friend.
I really appreciate the great amount of time and research you put into your Filming Location vlogs. This particular show means so much to me. There was something so special about the cast and timing of this show. I was under 10 when it first came aired, and somehow my parents let me stay up to watch it. Jack Tripper was my first Hollywood crush and I loved everything John Ritter went on to do. Thank you for this wonderful vlog. That giant mural brought a tear to my eye.
I was lucky to watch the taping of Threes Company about 3 times at CBS. We would line up before the show over an hour before it began. I went to watch the episodes in the early years of the show, before Don Knotts got involved. There was one episode that the cast was eating a birthday cake and Susanne Summers had just a bite and asked the audience who wants her piece. Naturally, EVERYONE raised their hands. One of the cast members said, "Who wants a cake that has Suzanne's hair in it!" I was able to get Joyce Dewitt's and Norman Fell's autograph after the filming...unfortunately I threw all my autographs away I had from, Threes Company, Soap, Taxi and Mork and Mindy.
I'm 35 yrs old and I think it's crazy that we have such similar taste. Saying that Three's Company is your favorite sitcom of all time is the nail in the coffin. It's mine too. Crazy dude. Thanks for the awesome video. I live in Indiana and hope to make out to see it myself in the future.
As a person who grew up in LA. Threes Company was my favorite and seeing the opening scenes of places I had been was so cool. Thank you for making this.
Adam, I'm glad you are taking some time off to enjoy life and making great videos like this and putting lots of research into the videos that are posted. Keep up the good work my friend.
It's only towards the end of your vlog that I realized that John Ritter had died many years ago. . . . I went back on TH-cam to watch old footage of Three's Company. The more I watched, the more I got sadden and depress. John Ritter was certainly one of the most likable actors in TV history (along with Micheal J, Fox). Time flies, people and places disappear. This got me really nostalgic, it's like a little part of my youth died with him. . . After saying all that, I am still verry grateful for your station and vlogs about film location. I love to see you geek out in old Hollywood land. Thanks!

My fave show of all time as well. Great trip down memory lane. Thank you!!
That’s a classic !
John M, That's one of my favorite episodes too.
Janet, where’s Austin? About 150 miles from Houston. LMAO!
Debi haha loved his tinker bell he used to do
@@debi1451 👍😁
I couldn't agree more! That is also one of my favorite episodes as well. Jack, and Mr. Furley were both comic legends and they were magic together. I also loved the episode where Jack played Grandma Tripper in order to win that baking competition. Just an amazing show, and such an intricate part of my childhood.
No when Jack fires Furley I choke every time laughing
Loved this video! Thank you so much for your time and effort. There will never be another Three’s Company. Legendary ♥️
Adam I really appreciate this video. Three’s Company is also my favourite sitcom so thank you for this!!!!
Awesome !
i’m 21 and was raised on threes company. still one of my favorite shows and i’m on my second box set ! this is so amazing thank you for bringing happiness during such dark times :)
You are a keeper of history. So cool. Thank you for your hard work and wonderful presentation. You really are the best. 👍🏻👍🏻
I watched this show growing up. Loved it! I always associate Santa Monica to Three’s Company. Also the shots of the LA Zoo in the opening credits. Have to visit the flamingo exhibit at every time! I thought it was funny how their rent was only $300! Thx for the video!
Me too , I’ll always think of Santa Monica to threes company
IT'S SO CRAZY I WAS JUST WATCHING THREE'S COMPANY LAST NIGHT. GREAT SHOW! I LOVE YOUR WORK MR. W00!!!!😁😁😁😁😁💚💙💜💛🧡♥️
Thanks for the video. John Ritter was truly a gifted , funny talented actor. And a great guy. His movies were funny
One of my favorite shows growing up and still is .. u made me laugh and cry .. thank you kp up the great work !!!
Excellent work finding the same bumper car and Suzanne in a wig. Plus the moved boulders makes it a home run.
My number 1 favorite show of all time. I didn't watch it until the late 90's or early 2000's. I can watch each episode over and over and enjoy it just as much as the first time.
Adam my man you doing a great job my brother I like these videos your doing I find them a lot more informative than the amusement parks very interesting love your work stay true to what you feel and do your thing we the people are behind you take care my brother !!😀
Thank you !! Much more rewarding
@@TheDailyWoo also appreciate your knowledge on the places you vist and subjects you talk about also enjoy the little comments you throw puts a smile on my face I always share your snippets with my friends your the man take care my brother looking forward to your next one always watching have a great day !!!😃
I was looking for that zoo entrance on 'maps' but couldn't find it. Figured that they totally remodeled the entire thing as you said. This is probably the best video I've seen on yt regarding filming locations. Thank you!
Much appreciated thank you .
I love watching these types of videos. Thanks Adam. Robbo from Australia.
My all time favorite show..great job
Don Knotts was great on this show.
I was so into Lana, even when I was a kid.
I ❤Don Knotts
Lol, Mr. Roper! HA! 🤣
😄
👍😄
It’s been done in small doses but was happy to put together a complete full season video
Another great video to one of my fav shows. Thanks to you i have the song 🎵🎶 ringing in my head. Love your channel
Thanks for the vlogs. I like all of them. Very interesting and entertaining!
Tremendous amount of research done. Thanks Adam - awesome vlog and very much appreciated. Great memories of my favorite show. Well done, sir!
Thank you so much
I LOVE YOUR SHOW!! I THINK 3'S C0MPANY WAS THE GREATEST SITCOM IN HISTORY! JUST LISTEN TO THE AUDIENCE SCREAMING WITH LAUGHTER! I LOVE YOUR SHOWS!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MR. W00 F0R DOING THIS. YOU MADE MY DAY! GOD'S BLESS!
LOVE THREE’S COMPANY MY FAVORITE TV SHOW SO MANY MEMORIES GREAT PICTURE OF YOU AND Joyce DeWITT
Absolutely love your location videos it reminds me of the adamthewoo from the past #returnofthewoo
This was great. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the memories of a better time and letting us see behind the camera.
Soooo glad you finally did this!! It was cool seeing some of these spots when I visited and now seeing it all put together with your research!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (and like I told you - John Ritter as an evil robot in an episode of Buffy is one of my favorite things he’s done!)
this is amazing, thank you for taking the time. I loved Three's Company so much as a kid, that I wanted to change my name to Jack.
As much as I like seeing videos everyday this kind of well thought out content is well worth the wait. I love going to famous places and seeing what they look like today.
👍
Thank you . Plan on doing more like this for a while
The tap-dancing flamingo was adorable!
It was great to meet her
@@TheDailyWoo For just a split second, I thought that was a picture of Joyce and John! 😊
what a great story meeting Joyce
Loved this video! I discovered through research on Ancestry that John Ritter is my 5th cousin twice removed. It was fun finding that distant connection.
Wow . Very cool
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. A Camping We Will Go and Strangers in the night are hilarious.
Love Three's Company. John Ritter was a great physical actor.
He was a great serious actor as well. He was amazing in Slingblade.
I MISS HIM😟 HE WAS GREAT IN SLINGBLADE TOO😁👍
Three"s company, best sitcomb, I have every single episode of three"s company!
Nice dude.
Come on knock on my door, Adam the woo is back. Great job my friend.
I love that picture of you and Joyce. Such a lovely woman, and she was right about you and John. What a special memory. Thanks for sharing.
This was interesting. We enjoyed watching. Can’t wait to see what other filming locations you take us to.
Also, good job on your weight loss. You look great. You inspired us to get healthy too.
Great job. SO interesting. Threes Company is my all time favorite show too
Adam your videos are mind-blowing.
Very nice of you to say . Thanks for watching and the great comment
@@TheDailyWoo Adam which are your favorite episodes?
Adam thank you so much for doing the Threes Company locations.😃👍👍👍❤❤❤ Adam the Woo your awesome my friend.Thank you again.Threes Company was a classic show and still holds up today.👍👍👍✌😃❤Fantastic video my friend.
Great job Adam. I LOVE this kind of content from you. Keep it up my friend!
Wow very cool. Thanks for the great comment
So grateful for your work here, I loved this sitcom! Thank you!
This brought back memories of my brother and I watching this show as kids. Great vlog as always Adam!
This is great... I loved Three's Company growing up... So cool to see all these locations...
Thanks!
