@@shootnik01 Not as good, even though I like Stellaris more as a game. Even though Faster Than Light kicks ass, it's like the only comparable piece, with the most character. The music , The lore its just amazing what this Game has done to me my mind has been running crazy with emotion so much that I am writing a novel based int he Endless Space Universe this is one of the best actually to me THE BEST 4X game ever not only for the game play but the Immersion just breath taking my love my passion thank you ES2 and ES1 thank you for saving this mans life !^^
Powerful. I feel so inspired while listening to this. Actually, to the point of taking all of my stuff and moving to a different place, leaving my past behind.
I like the bgm you guys made for endless series games. I can recall each turn I played in-game when I enjoy this music, imaging the legendary trip only belongs to myself.
I wish there was a video where I could see those guys perform "To Rise, Virtual". It also has a vocal part, it's really good. EDIT: Oops, wrong track name.
This serves way better as a main menu theme than legend did for its game. That theme just didnt have the right drama and melancholy to introduce you into the setting, it sounded more like something that would play in the middle of a game session. Its obviously grown on me and the sound texture is 100% Auriga and true to the world its the theme of, but I remember as a main menu theme on install, it didn't leave me with that great of a first impression. Meanwhile with this theme, im still humming it after I load my game, that brass section is just so powerful.
In the words of king Théoden: "Tonight we remember those who gave their blood to defend this country. Hail the victorious dead Hail too the victorious dead!
Eh brass has it's place sometimes yes, but the vocals (even the synthetic piano vocal thing he's got going on in the video) are what do it for me. By the way you are referrring to "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" ;-)
@@depth386 sure thing, the vocals sound very "spacey" and the synthetic piano sounds are a classic space sound. I absolutely adore the music, the art direction, and the gameplay. But it feels like I'm just not smart enough to play games like these. I can never seem to predict attacks, so when they happen they catch me totally off-guard. It goes great for like 30 rounds, then the A.I. figuratively cuts off their own leg just to spite me.

Try Stellaris Ost

I should have paid more than 40 dollars for this masterpiece... Then again I am a hella broke college student.
The music alone makes up for the game breaking bugs :)
When I heard that second half start in the menu, I knew the game was gonna be great.

Brass is just a perfect fit for the space theme. "Also sprach Zarathustra" from Richard Strauss is actually already the proof for that.
