Great to see the Lillys making videos again. Looking forward to PRS this year. Switching from gas gun to open division. Have a 5x5 Precision 6 Dasher. Even though I can't train right now (Recovering from a elbow surgery) I did get registered for the Kahles match. K&M is now one of my favorite venues to shoot at. It's a phenomenal facility and Shannon puts on a challenging yet fun match. I have one more match planned and am hoping to squeeze in a third (Aside from our monthly club matches of course) but we'll see. I accepted a position as range manager in northern MI so my duties there come first. (Even though the owners are more than willing to work around any matches I schedule to shoot responsibilities are responsibilities.) Hope to see you at K&M.
Is there a standard way of accommodating shorter shooters in the two tall positions in PRS matches? At my local range, we shoot at a slight downward angle due to the terrain, which makes me need to tiptoe even more just to somewhat see the target through my scope.
I'm a short shooter as well. I've started to contact match organizers in order to have boxes or pallets to stand on for taller barricades. I also bought a couple of foldable steps (5") to bring with my kit. I'm losing too much time and hits from not being able to reach a good position.

Not a standard way no. Sometimes guys will have a box to stand on.

I believe that position 5 is shot from the same location as where the shooter started for position 1.
Maybe. I wasn’t told that.
