Good job dude!
Awesome seeing you comment! Love the build man!
привет! где можно раздобыть 450cc двигатели Ямахи или Хонды? спасиб заранее
That stuff is the real deal. I hit the bell because no one else is showing anything like this. I am sick of predator engine run of the mill junk, this is awesome. This channel should explode with subs if you keep this up.
Predator are good but they are the ls of go kart
Predator engine have their place, but I ain't trying to be like everyone else
Excellent job. I’m 57 years old and have been building/rebuilding engines since I was 12 years old, learned from my Pop. I love 2 strokes, they are the way to go for power power power! It’s too bad you younger guys missed the 2 stroke street bikes and 250/500 MotoGP days. Can’t wait to see this thing run!
Thank you sir! I had already run it in my newest videos runs great still need some tuning etc
Don't sell your self short, You did a great job on that motor, I'm coming from 20 years as a mechanic and fabricator, retired now...
By far the best rebuild vids I've seen so far on TH-cam. This helped me immensely when I just did mine. Can't thank you enough
Don't put yourself down dude.. You should be proud your like 19 and can do all that. Can't wait to see it running though. Good job 👍👍
That engine is so similar to my 96 kdx200 engine. I actually really enjoyed rebuilding my motor i was just nervous something would go wrong and it wouldn't run. First time rebuilding a 2 stroke bike motor so i had some concerns but she runs and she runs good. Definitely rebuild your motors or at least try, if vasily and I can rebuild a motor you can too. Dont be one of the people that blow a motor up and then just trash a perfectly good candidate for a nice rebuild.
So glad I didn't miss this
Give you a little tip , those bearings for the water pump shaft if I remember correctly skate board wheels take the same size bearings , I used them when I was young racing my KX 😎
Thanks for all this I love your videos I have a 99 kx 250 I’m building and your video has helped me understand so much
Next time you have the top end off, you should try to get your jug ported. You can also drop the height on your head to tighten up the squish, which increases your compression ratio. This is all stuff you can learn on the forums. Great editing skills man. I am excited to see this in a shifter kart.
Thank you! I might have to do that in the future. What if I stack base gaskets, and lower all the ports by the amount raised?
@@VasilyBuilds You can't lower your intake and exhaust ports if you're increasing the thickness of the base gaskets. That will drop your compression further and change your timing. Adding gaskets to the base increases the volume of the combustion chamber as the stroke still remains the same, but your'e trying to compress the same air/fuel charge in a larger area.
Typically material is removed from the base of the cylinder in a lathe as an additional change to custom port heights. The combination of these two change your intake and exhaust timing.
Your squish is the distance from the top of the piston at tdc to the top of the combustion chamber. If you remove material from the top of the cylinder head, that will drop your bowl volume, and you're compressing the same fuel/air ration in a smaller space, upping your compression ratio.
When people remove too much material in an attempt to change intake and exhaust timing they will use thicker gaskets to compensate for removing too much material, be it in the port heights or removing too much from the base of the jug.
Don't sell yourself short... good job rebuilding the engine. Cant wait to see the cart up n running. Cant wait for the next video.
Wow! Love it! Can’t believe you know so much mechanic stuff and fabrication stuff so young! Great channel! Can’t wait for the next ep! All the best!
Good work my man! Turned out great, looks awesome. Also for the paint imperfections, just spray some of the paint you used into the cap and use a small brush to touch up the motor!
I love building two stroke engines that looks very nice and clean
Nice job! Engine looks great
Your paint came out real nice!
If you were planning on painting it, a rougher surface finish on the aluminum and some etching primer would have been the way to go. That paint will flake off unfortunately over time. Looks good though! And definitely torque all the other bolts to spec, including the flywheel nut. Get yourself a strap wrench to hold it in place.
Thank you! I did have that tool, It just did not fit into the clutch holes. and the paint, I just want a little protection from corrosion and rain. But next time I will use etch primer
Great build video. Very well detailed. Took your time and built the best engine you could. Should be sick.
I literally wait for your videos man im going to be trying to learn to weld through youtube and start building more awesome stuff like you,
Bro I work on my cars all the time honestly I couldn’t do what you did from the beginning of the video to 3:00. I would of not be able to weld or pull out bearings lol. Good shit dude!! 🙌🏽👏🏽
if u pack grease in a blind bearing and tap something the same diameter as the center it will pop out love the vid too
you did a great job, my one thing is just you talked about how bad the gasket was done before and you did the gasket and it looked identical to the old one
I think that engine paint just needed some more curing time that is probably why it peeled in some spots
I would recommend when hammering metal against another hard metal like when your setting your bearings to use a ball peen or mini sledge. A regular claw hammer is not designed to hit against other solid or hard metal and the head could chip or break possibly causing you or the project damage. A mini sledge or ball peen are designed to hit other metal and hard objects and are much less likely to cause problems. Great job on the engine looks like a lot of time and effort was put into this. Loved the content
I will get one then thank you!
U done a great job can't wait to c u riding it
Nice job young fella excited to see the end. Keep up the good work
That looks so sweet. Nice work.
Can’t wait to see what this motor is going on
Can't wait to hear it scream! Great job brother!
Watching you use sockets and a framing hammer to set those bearings Was killing me. Nice vid tho.
cant wait to see it running
That's a nice looking engine. Can't wait to see it rip.
i used the same method on taking out the bearings on my bike...good job
Wow man you are really going in with this engine. Amazing keep it up!
Great video today Vasily. Love the black engine. Going to be an awesome build when your done. Can't wait to see it finished.
Thank you
Your channel is so underrated u do awesome stuff keep it up bro i learned a lot from u
Nice job rebuilding this motor!! Those boyesen covers do look nice!!
Thank you!
Awesome job on picking the parts out most would throw all balls crank bearings in and a wiseco crank
And it would run fine. If wiseco and all balls are junk, how are they still in business?
Aaron Anderson because they make tons of other parts. Just saying crankshafts and crank bearings are not for wiseco or all balls.
Great Job the engine should be perfect and fast I'm enjoying this build
Motor looks great !!! I can’t wait to see run. You’re vids awesome brother.
Came over as soon as the notifications popped up on my phone!
Very nice
Alot of work
Respect 👏
Awesome video mate keep up the good work
Can't wait to see how fast this engine will go keep up the good work Vasily I just order a new clutch for my go kart the old one was rusty and when I went 35Mph it shredded the teeth on it probably because of the weak metal because of the rust
Nice job! Im here learning for my future job!
Holy moly! This build looks great 👌
Great work! This is gonna be fast!
Great job!! I’m currently doing this with my blaster motor
Amazing work!
Enjoy the bike life 🤙
Cant wait Vasily..and you know this!🤜👍
You build a monster engine rocket go kart very nice !! Good luck
Awesome!!! Watch your videos always to the end. :-) You definately know how to do! I`m sure many guys now think: "building up a engine is easy"..LOL
As a mechanical engineer i know how much time it needs..and you know alot about your age! Much Respect!
Thank you sir!
Man this engine looks good😍 Great vid
that carts gonna rip well done dude
Motor looks fantastic 😎😎
Wow, nice video! I've got a 650 that I plan on rebuilding over the summer. 👍
You made a good job with that engine keep it up buddy.
Using a welder to remove the bearings was genius!
Sick video man!
Hey I think it’s time to invest in a couple torque wrenches!
I bet you could find a place online to download a shop manual for all the torque specs on almost anything you’re working on. Facebook groups, forums, etc.
Great job, you really inspire me to start working on my zx6r. :D
Bought the same engine case.
Even the same year.
I'm building a Kawasaki KX 250 from scratch 😜😂
Would have liked to see it slower and how and where everything goes 😉😂
But great vid 👍😉
If you got any questions ask :) I've got to know this motor pretty good
what a beauty! nice job
Thank you bro!
Same here brother best videos on rebuilds by far altho sometimes i wish youd do a more in depth one for us of us who have the same motor on are benches yamaha spirts plaza gave me the kx 500 crank berrings so it took me forever to find the ones i needed lol
Nice you make it look easy
You got all the goodies.
Bro sweet build... some info to check on and advice... u should break down that clutch basket... the lining on the friction plates should be in reverse to pick up the oil with the grooves... if the primary trans shaft spins in counter clockwise rotation! It should pick up the oil to carry it into the inner splines of the basket! Please check it! Great build tho!
Unless it can only go on one way.... i could be wrong but its worth the research... dnt want u to ruin ur build wen u get it running
Service manual told me the grooves go with the spinning of the engine
Really? Woulda that because it carry oil it forces it into the inside splines during full engagement and centrifugal force slings it out disengaged
Great job mate!
Love this channel dude. 😁... all the way from the suffolk in the United kingdom
This man deserves more Views and more subscribers Big time!!!!!
Looks awesome man👌
It's getting there.
geez man !! really well done, aka very professional..thought to myself this morning wonder what vasily is up to??? hmmmmmm? and then waaaaala... your latest and greatest rebuild video.... if i wasnt typing i would be clapping...lol.. keep going .great entertainment and educational, MOTOR vational too....
Nice man! Have a blessed day
Excellent video, looks awesome, I put my bearing in the freezer for an hour and slightly heat the alloy when refitting the bearings which greatly reduces the amount you have to hit them in, sometimes they just push by hand in with that treatment
Very good video!😍i love this video
Thank you
Nice job (apart from the claw hammer and loctite on the clutch spring bolts)
i see a lot of power coming out of that thing
Awesome! I wanna see the maiden rip!
Hello so my 2001 kx 250 when I got it it was locked up I took the top end off and got some of the metal out and everything then it came unlocked so would I need just a top end or bottom too?
Torque wrench torque specs is a must
Good effort champ 🤙🤙
If you’re taking requests how about a kdx200 motor. Looks like a clean job.
Nice!!! I have a 250cc water cooled motor I’m looking to add more power to, I know I can get much but anything is helpful, I have a Kandi viper that’s not highway ready, lol. Can anyone help? And b4 everyone say just replace the motor, replace it with what that will fit without mod and have reverse?
Just letting you know as i noticed that you wernt able to torque one of the cylinder bolts that they make attachements for that they are called crows feet, its pretty much just a spanner head that goes ontho the socket end and allows you to be able to torque it but there is a certain way you need to use them or you will over torque the bolt
Nice job !!!!
Dude, did you put the skinny little flat washer over the kick starter shaft to protect the plastic spacer? i lost mine and just wondering if you notice any issues with the Kickstarter after hundreds of kicks
that was awesome.good to see something other then predator motors. i just wish u would have showed when u set the timeing.lol so i would know how
I put it in the middle
Все как всегда на высшем уровне)
Daaam Looks good 👌👌👌
Nice job 👍
A boyesen supercooler would look really good on it and help cooling. It would match the boyesen covers.
Hi. Do engine bolts have a torque spec? I need to rebuild mine since one clutch disc had exploded and ruined everything insine clutch side
Very great video,do you know if 97 engine parts and 98 are same or different ?
good job man, whats that piston size?
Good job brother....
Would it be possible to drop the link to all the products that you got,Iam doing a rebuild on exactly the same kx 250 engine and cant seem to find the parts i need
Nice build but might not be the "ultimate" build tho, could have ported the cylinder for some nice power gain.
ultimate for me haha
Nice job man! I’ll be doing the same to my 99 kx250. Where did you source the crank?
Best channel
Wow man you did a great job I wish we were friends so I could get you to help with mine lol
