Not gonna lie when i first started watching your videos i thought you were a total goof. After watching a few of your videos i really appreciate your reviews and the detail and quality of your vids. New sub! Thanks for all the good reviews and vids! It really helps me out!
Just wanted to say thanks bro! I played 1995 - 2004. Did the family thing. Now my son and daughters are getting into it after I snagged some free Spyders off CL.Tried to find actual informative videos for them that didn't have cursing every other word from some man-child. You've come through big for me. (Subscribed)
Top 3 masks imo, been playing for 15 years and reffing for the last 7. 1. Jt flex with the bottom flipped up 2. Jt flex with the bottom flipped down 3. Just buy a Damn flex
I rock an E-flex and I absolutely love it never been busted in the face its especially good if you wear glasses like myself because of the ventilation so it doesn't fog and the air flow is amazing for hot days so your glasses don't fog up
I use empire EVS and it’s basically perfect, it never fogs and has an extremely wide field of vision. The only problem is it hangs pretty far off the face.
kylenoah92 Destiny Videos Anually I wear Dye i4s, and the only time I have had paint go through the vents (and into my mouth, admittedly) is when I get hit directly in the mouth. Anywhere else is fine.
Novice paintballer here. Your video was most helpful dude, everyone is quick to tell you what they think is good. Not just what a good features. Thanks man
Proto fs is a good entry level mask, its comfortable, foams pretty good, easy to take apart & clean , and its soft, & has plenty of ventilation, for 40-50$ cant really beat it.
like any hobby purchases: one must first ask decide their budget and then see what's available within that budget/tier and try/decide on which one u like best at a store or borrow etc
Hi I own a Empire Helix mask, It has the same lends as the EFLEX but you are found wanting in the air flow. But for a first timer it's perfect for the price and the quality of the lends. I got this mask so I could get my Tippmann TMC. The mask hasn't let me down. When I can I will be upgrading to The Empire E-Flex. Great review
It does not. I've only had the helix fog on me once and never on the flex. If you can I would get the eflex as it is much more comfortable. It's a $50 difference but the foam on the helix is a hard foam compared to the plush foam found on the eflex. I do also find breath-ability on the eflex to be superior.
StevieJ thanks man I played paintball over the weekend for the first time and fell in love, so I'm trying o learn as much as possible because I want to buy my own gear. What gun would you suggest I buy at a reasonable price? I'm thinking about getting the tippmann chronus? Is that a good starter?
It depends on your budget. I'm always a fan of buying used markers. You can find good/ great used markers and they will have more features and quality of life upgrades. if you want to buy new, then figure out a budget and go through PBRML's channel. He has several videos covering this and other channels will have answers as well. If you want to buy used, then pbnation has a forum where you can buy used electronic or mech markers. Facebook also has a few groups depending on your location. For example, someone has a used geo 2 for $250 and I would take a geo 2 than a new marker for 250.
I have the same mask Zebra ! I totally like it and I also have the HK Army SLR, both masks are my favorite ! Both for the same reasons as you listed in this video !
I would recommend going a paintball shop and try the masks available. I did this and found the i5s to be the comftiest but the ridiculous price is a deal breaker. id pay 150max
One things on note about the empire vents masks is that the nose is rather wide on the lens so if your 13 or under it could block you from having vision of the ground if you are just using your periferl vision :) sorry for bad spelling but I hope this helps!!
Can always add your own slits slots or holes relatively easy with a cordless drill to just punch extra holes, so if you like a mask just add more holes XD
I was reluctant the first 2 years but all the people who say Dyei4 to be the best mask are actually true. I used Vios before but Dye beats even it from the competition.
How long do masks last? I stopped playing about 15years ago do to work and family but am getting back into it now. Are my old masks safe or should I just buy new ones?
Hello sir I went paint-balling for the first time and I liked it a lot but my mask kept fogging up and I couldn’t see anyone in the woods so it was really hard to play. I wanna buy a better mask that won’t fog up but I also don’t want to pay $100 what do you recommend I do ?
I find the vios very uncomfortable. The EVS is the most comfortable on my head but the ventilation isn’t so good. I use the Grills most of the time Bc it’s pretty comfortable and breathes well
wich one should i get? V-Force Armor Valken Mi3 Spyder Avant i want a lowprofile mask, very breathable and something that allows me to use my FAST helmet, and literaly those are the ones that i can afford right now
Yep. Well not yet, techically. I put some footage up of a friend this week though (link below). Going to put something together from this weekend when I go out though. th-cam.com/video/o6tyA7UDyxA/w-d-xo.html
Yep, for me at least. It fits the bill with thermal lens, breathability and quick change lenses. But comfort is still difficult, I love it but I'm sure someone out there doesn't.
Paintball Ruined My Life Awesome I have one more question how close is it to your face I run the Empire X-ray mask. It goes from two finger width around my jaw line and a three finger width from my jaw to my nose. And it just feels my mask is to bulky is the Virtue Vio Ascend Closer to your face then that. And when I call out to my team about locations it echoes really bad and it doesn't feel like I'm projecting my voice that well.
+What_a_Fox the Ascend is going to be a much more snug fit than the X-ray. If you want super close though the Dye I4 is going to be the best option. Lots of airsofters use the I4 because it seems to work the best with sights and scopes.
How does the virtue vio ascend compare to the Dye i5? I want it get into airsoft, but to date not found a mask that works for me. I run 20 yards and then catch my breath lol, the fog is immediate and then cannot see. I tried the Dye i4 and that was useless! Are fanned masks the only solution? Also I need to wear normal glasses so got to fit into a mask too.. Really idc how much a mask will cost, but it seems no mask exists that can cope with fogging!
what mask would you recommend for someone with glasses? my Helix is great but there isn't enough ventilation so my glasses always fog up, I was thinking of getting the e-flex or profiler
Visibility and ventilation should come before all else including price. A mask that fogs up is useless if you can’t see what you’re doing you might as well give up lol. I played with a masked that constantly fogged up vs one that didn’t and my performance on the field was night and day difference.
Willie Munoz I've always worn flexs but decided to try out the I5s last year to try something new and found that the vents from the mouth area go directly to the lens and fog within 5 minutes of hard play. For this inherant design flaw I imediatly sold it and went rite back to my flexs
Paintballruinedmylife, ventilation is very important, like you mentioned, but if the holes are too big and you get shot in the face the paint will go through and get in your mouth. Yuck. Happened to me once it sucked
I am now into Airsoft. But my major problem is I wear glasses (& no I do not like the idea of contact lenses) I like the idea of masks/helmets for the protection. But wearing glasses the major problem is fogging up. On the glasses & the lenses. I have never seen a video where someone has properly tested masks/helmets for the glasses wearer. Covering onsite playing in all weather's & using lenses not mesh screens, also do fan attachments work etc. Can you help???. I live in the UK. But all advice is helpful ..
What current or past paintball mask has or has had the largest visible area for the lens? I've been trying to find a manufacturer that has listed the lens area and I've not had any luck. Thanks ahead of time.
The gun shouldn't have much to do with it, you just need to find a mask that fits you well, breaths well and has a thermal lens. With the red dot though you might want to look into getting a riser, to be able to see it a bit better with a mask on though :)
Valkyrie612 there are paintball helmets that are connected to the mask but it isnt removable. There are acualy helmets though that u can wear with any mask
im kind of a beginner and im using a Digital camo US Army mask taht i got from Dicks sporting goods and its unbelievably fogged up omg. ive played about 50 or so backyard games.

There are a lot anit-fog creams and pastes, that some people swear by. I have never really had a problem with fogging, so I haven't had to use any. This probably isn't the best answer, but cut a few a few of the bars out in the vents of the Profit. I had to wear the Profit for about 3 months, and thats what I did and it helped a lot with breathability.
Thanks a lot for the reply, I tried putting some spit on it and rubbing it on the lense and it actually worked alright(suggestion for a fellow player). but I think I might change my goggles to JT as they seem to have way better breath ability. love the videos, thanks for the advice
Some paintball companies like Virtue make fans that fit their masks. I know there are some guys out there that have modded masks to take small computers fan too. Im sure you could find a tutorials somewhere on how to do.
thats what everyone else is saying but my park is saying i should get the ascend xD i guess ill get the grill with the hdr lens because stinky paintball said if i get a grill with a hdr lens it will pretty much never fog up is that right?

Chandler Williams He seems like he is always high or drunk, lol.

I have the Empire Helix and it definitely does not fog, even after lots of sweating and running around and breathing hard. I was super impressed.
Can you do something like a top five series( like top five hoppers, masks, guns, etc)
I like this! I'll figure something out
Paintball Ruined My Life does paint ever get through the ventilation and in your mouth?
kylenoah92 Destiny Videos Anually yes paint can go through some masks
Dominating. Duck is it super common though? Like should I be worried about it when choosing a mask
kylenoah92 Destiny Videos Anually I wear Dye i4s, and the only time I have had paint go through the vents (and into my mouth, admittedly) is when I get hit directly in the mouth. Anywhere else is fine.
Novice paintballer here. Your video was most helpful dude, everyone is quick to tell you what they think is good. Not just what a good features. Thanks man
I feel like flexes also sit farther away from the lower half of your face, while stuff like that EVS hug your mouth and nose
Just bought the e-flex skull print version! I take your opinions heavily into account lol hence why i have the e-flex en route to my house!
bro love the vids always to the point and good time lengh. keep the grind goin
It is a grind :)

absolutely love your channel bro I'm new to paintball but I love it and want to get more into it and your channel have given me so much info👌🏾🤙🏾
Youu have the best reviews!
I'm new to paintball and you are the go to guy for great honest info!
Thanks!

DELIRIOSE HOSTILITY DH-48 does it fog easily?
It does not. I've only had the helix fog on me once and never on the flex. If you can I would get the eflex as it is much more comfortable. do not buy a cheap mask
+eye diom cheap is OK but not too cheap 😀
How come?
revenge_on_dohnuts 77 if you can’t see what you are shooting it doesn’t matter what gun you shoot
i have a dye axis mask AND I LOVE IT
my two favorite masks are the eflex with a jt proflex classic bottom and the countour
My favorite mask of all time was the old school JT Flex 7 IZE. Now I settle for the JT ProFlex.
Can always add your own slits slots or holes relatively easy with a cordless drill to just punch extra holes, so if you like a mask just add more holes XD
Going to my local pro shop tomorrow if you live in Near San Diego I recommend checking out goggled paintball shop

What happens if a paintball come where your mouth is on the mask? Do you get paint in the mouth then?
Hey man got a quick question what would be the best mask for my son either a vforce grill or profiler he's 11 thanks
What is the mask shown @3:45?
wich one should i get?
V-Force Armor
Valken Mi3
Spyder Avant
i want a lowprofile mask, very breathable and something that allows me to use my FAST helmet, and literaly those are the ones that i can afford right now
I mean if low profile means small then dye i4s
I'm a new subscriber. Do you have gameplay of when you play? I love seeing gameplay and your setup and local fields .
Yep. Well not yet, techically. I put some footage up of a friend this week though (link below). Going to put something together from this weekend when I go out though.
th-cam.com/video/o6tyA7UDyxA/w-d-xo.html

Would you say the Virtue vio ascend has those four qualities
Yep, for me at least. It fits the bill with thermal lens, breathability and quick change lenses. But comfort is still difficult, I love it but I'm sure someone out there doesn't.

Yes there great and have awesome visibility
Hi, looking at either the JT Flex or Empire Helix for a range mask.. they both similarly priced. Which would you recommend? Thanks
Proflex for sure.
I have the best combination for condensation, I live in the humid south, I have glasses, AND im fat so I breathe heavily
Will Stevenson use the empire evs
Empire Eflex my dude it will solve your problem (follow glasses wearer)
v force profiler is a great mask for like 60$ n it has duel pain
travis hurst yea thats what i got.
travis hurst pain is spelled pane in that situation
Vopan Plays lol um I'm dyslexic so if it sounds a certian way I normally spell it how it sounds
Vopan Plays empire helix is good to just got me one of those
gotta breath! don't want to get respiratory acidosis ;)

My asthma having self is having a hard time looking at the helix
Hey man nice vid, can you do a comparison between de V force grill and the E flex. Im between those 2....thanks
what mask would you recommend for someone with glasses? my Helix is great but there isn't enough ventilation so my glasses always fog up, I was thinking of getting the e-flex or profiler
Talked about it a bit in this video. th-cam.com/video/glBPLbHx3NI/w-d-xo.html. I would lean towards the E-Flex though, I love them
Visibility and ventilation should come before all else including price.
A mask that fogs up is useless if you can’t see what you’re doing you might as well give
up lol. I played with a masked that constantly fogged up vs one that didn’t and my performance on the field was night and day difference.
I have a jt prime and it hasn't fogged on me yet plus you can also buy a thermal lens
Go on one! I don't think that is common.
My first was the empire helix :D and now I have the dye i5
Both great mask. I love the Helix, such a good value.
Willie Munoz I've always worn flexs but decided to try out the I5s last year to try something new and found that the vents from the mouth area go directly to the lens and fog within 5 minutes of hard play. For this inherant design flaw I imediatly sold it and went rite back to my flexs
So whats a good mask for people that wear eye glasses? Considering space and comfort. :)
Never mind.....watched the vid about glasses!
Make a video on what paint to buy!
Do most masks cover your ears? because I dont want to get hit in the ear..
Garrett Jordan I think a lot of paintball masks now cover the ears, I heard something about it being a law in the states
I own a jt prime how protective are they
Whats the bestbmask for aiming down a red dot..like a tighter fitting one
the most obvious desider is if it does not come with a vizor :P
Paintballruinedmylife, ventilation is very important, like you mentioned, but if the holes are too big and you get shot in the face the paint will go through and get in your mouth. Yuck. Happened to me once it sucked

I wear glasses. The evs fogs up a lot with glasses. Grill never fogs up my glasses.
I wear glasses because I have astigmatism is it possible to get a mask which I can wear my glasses with?
What current or past paintball mask has or has had the largest visible area for the lens? I've been trying to find a manufacturer that has listed the lens area and I've not had any luck. Thanks ahead of time.
Grillz master race lol
Can anyone recommend a mask for someone using a tippmann tmc with a micro red dot? Preferably one that doesn't fog so much?
The gun shouldn't have much to do with it, you just need to find a mask that fits you well, breaths well and has a thermal lens. With the red dot though you might want to look into getting a riser, to be able to see it a bit better with a mask on though :)
+Paintball Ruined My Life alright awesome thanks for the tip
Does de vforce profiler fog? Is any good for woodsball ?
One of the best mask ever made
Where can I buy those little clips for the eclipse cuz I lost one of mine
I saw white wings....like on birds
i got the same mask the one you wear but it plugs my nose and it tends to fall down..
What is the name of that song at the end?
what would be a good mask for ventilation and seeing really good
There are a few, I like the Empire E-Flex and V-Force Profiler
The JT PROFLEX is the best
I have the green mask and its great except for when I playing facing the sun it reduces the visibility, its hard to see clearly.
Melaperez Prado You do know you can buy lenses that are black or yellow for sunny days, right?
Do you recommend helmets for use in paintball? Any suggestions for mask-helmet combinations? Thanks!
I don't, it's really just preference though. There isn't a paintball mask that works with a helmet without modifications.
Valkyrie612 there are paintball helmets that are connected to the mask but it isnt removable. There are acualy helmets though that u can wear with any mask
So they dont fog alot with thermal lense?
im kind of a beginner and im using a Digital camo US Army mask taht i got from Dicks sporting goods and its unbelievably fogged up omg. ive played about 50 or so backyard games.
its a shitty mask for beginners to be completely honest and i wanan say it was like $20
How about the one I have it's just one lens but is Anti fog
what is the best paint to youse??
Good mask video.
witch is most practical. spire 3 paint indicator, evoke or evs hud?
Ekk, to me none of them :)
Will you ever compare evoke vs, hud?
Unlikely both have been pretty hard to get ahold of. Plus they would make me buy them, and don't really want to
Im a pretty sweaty guy and I tend to fog up pretty quick with my sly profit goggles, what do you recommend would be the best for me? or the best method of anti fog, Im thinking of trying baby powder on my face to stop fogging. I got absolutely destroyed the other day because I couldnt see two meters ahead of me.
How do you add a little fan into your mask???
Some paintball companies like Virtue make fans that fit their masks. I know there are some guys out there that have modded masks to take small computers fan too. Im sure you could find a tutorials somewhere on how to do.
Paintball Ruined My Life think you could be able to add one to a dye i4?
should i get a grills with a hdr lens a empire evs or a virtue vio ascend?
I would rather have the Grill. Really going to be our preference though
thats what everyone else is saying but my park is saying i should get the ascend xD i guess ill get the grill with the hdr lens because stinky paintball said if i get a grill with a hdr lens it will pretty much never fog up is that right?
Nice vid!
Thanks!
Can you do a review on the e flex? Please
I wish the EVS came in purple😪
how relevantti do you think I5 and vios removable foam is?
To me not some much, I honestly don't think I have ever changed the foam on any mask I have owned. By the time I need foam, I need a lens, strap, ears etc. The mask needs so much stuff that it makes more sense to buy a new mask.
Surpreme hat!!
Does anyone know any good mask to wear with glasses? Some masks are very uncomfortable while wearing with glasses and i need them to play.
Anthony Mercado The Empire Helix fits glasses pretty well
Super late I know, but check this out :) th-cam.com/video/glBPLbHx3NI/w-d-xo.html
all I know is the expensive mask are lighter comfortable and work better
Hye. How about for spectacles players
The first alf a second of the video xD
JT Flex-7 with foam ears. Masks peaked in 2000.
Ahh I love the rubber ears, but pretty much lol
@@PaintballRuinedMyLife Got to flip the front of the mouth area up too, full OG. Glad to see some ppl rocking the old masks today.

Drill bit can solve any breath ability issues.
what's the name of the song at the end of the video..
one important thing is safety
another great vid 🖒
+Kalani Kev Thanks!
what mask with a cheap price and thermel lence would be?
Empire Helix, maybe not the cheapest. But only $31 and a great mask.
Thankyou so much:D
Are there any differences between the eflex and the proflex
The main difference is the lens system. The E-Flex lens is much easier to take out than the Proflex or masks that use the Spectra lens like the Proflex.
Paintball Ruined My Life ok thx
what's the name of the song at the end ?
My first mask was some 40 dollar thermal lense mask made by dye.
anyone know any good masks for people who wear glasses?

EVS!
