I love it when you are out bashing and people are genuinely interested.
It was probably the old servo screw, since your new servo seemed to come with a new one.
I noticed the camber on the rear wheels looked off Kev. Better fix that to help with even tire wear. As for where to take it next, look for a track and go racing Kev. I would love to see you race. A lot of tracks today have some form of a short course truck .class

Issac 17 kev really bends the hell out of them pot metal chassis on the kreaton and for the price of ether of these you don’t get real quality im a tekno fan more then anything because of the quality of the stock parts from the box
I like when both rc's crash in the air, that was one of the coolest parts from the video.
Slash 4x4 is definitely in the top 5 legendary RC cars/trucks. Love my platinum, just slap on a set of badlands and you're good to go!

Hi, quick X-maxx question. You switched from reinforcing the bulkheads from epoxy to hot glue but i don't think you ever gave us the outcome of what is better to use. Would be great if you could let us know, in comments or in a vid, as i just broken my first non-reinforced bulkhead.
I guess i should have known since i followed all other of your tips and it seems i just cannot break the wd40'ed cen hingepinged arms, no matter how hard i "try" :)
X-maxx is not the greatest RC by itself, it's X-maxx + Kev that make it the best!
(and sure i know he just reuses information on the internet for most parts, but the internet is also full of bad information and it's about finding out what really works and what not and combining that into a great final product, keep up the great work!)

Ben Bone screw might be for the servo horn but you probably used a new one that came with the servo.

I think that extra screw is from the servo because when you put the servo in it had a screw in it.
Good trick on your tip for using power tools for taking and putting back together..use a hammer drill and set torque setting to lowest,and you will lower chance of over tightening hardware and snapping heads off screws or stripping plastics out,thanks like alwayz kev:)

That 4x4 seems more simple to take apart and put together than a 2wd

I believe that screw was for the servo horn.
Always a pleasure to watch your vids man. Keep up the good work. You should upgrade a few cheap RC bashers like the ZD Racing 9016s or 9116 and see how they compete with the more expensive ones. A lot of people bought them and I am sure would appreciate a good upgrade and bash video.

I love the bugbody. I got one and reenforced it with drywall tape. Seems to hold up very well and looks great :)

That screw looks like it goes directly on the center top hole of the motor bracket.

I'm guessing that you used the old servo horn screw for the gearboxcover instead of the short one that you held in your hand :P There was a short one in mine as well (RTR) Great seeing the Slash getting fixed! Edit : Or the driveshaftcover is missing one..

did the new servo already have a screw? bet its from there. slipper bearing is easy to strip and clean, redo the mesh itl be much quieter.

Why don‘t you use an Aluminium chassi for the shlash because the plastic one breaks every time

If you don't have a screw left over, you didn't take enough out.
Is a good idea to get a slash platinum chassis and build the rest up over a arrma senton 3s so i could run the slash on 4s or 6s because of the stronger diffs?

Hi Kev I got an hpi e firestorm flux off ebay what's your opinion on them? It came with a trackstar 3750kv 5.5t motor
