    I use irons only on all my rifles. I have 21 acres and furthest in 1 direction is about 300 yards, plus i like to keep my rifles as light as possible. I shoot on my proprety daily and i use the polymer new mbus gen 3 by magpul on my ARs, no problems with the as primary sights. The front blade is the perfect size for me, not too thick and not too thin to make it hard to see or take longer to center. Im popping coke cans at 100+ yards easy as hell with them, they do the job well. For the weight concious, cant beat em. I like em better than the daniel defense fixed irons as well, those have very large, not precise adjustments for windage.. about an inch and a half windage on a galil ace i have em on and thats not a small sight radius at all. Mbus 3 are much smaller adjustments for windage and the DD front post was so thick that i had to change the post, the mbus as i said has a perfect post for me out the box.

    Thank you for this informative review. While I can understand the iron being possibly much stronger the polymer is still very robust. But after seeing the 2’s need a tool to adjust, are a little heavier and are bigger I decided right away I like light weight, compact and no tools needed to adjust. So the 3’s it is for me. Thanks!

    Thank you for the comparison video. I own two sets of the 45 degree MBUS Pros and several sets of the MBUS 2 sights. I need another set of backups and I noticed the MBUS 3s in the gun store and it is the first time that I have seen them. I was looking for a set of Pros, but since they are truly going to be "backup sights" I am questioning why I need the Pros when my MBUS 2 sights have worked well for years. Based on what I can see in your video, the front post on the MBUS 3s is significantly shorter than on the MBUS 2s and it is thinner. Again thank you for the video. My search continues.

      @@crazyhawk99Much value. I "research" & read up quite a bit before spending on anything not specifically for the family. Decided on Gen2. Cheapest place I could find was NobleCo Tactical out of Ohio. Veteran owned small company. $56 for a set shipped. 👍🇺🇲

    I use dagger defense flip up sights. The front sight is loud when flipping up. Only complaint. I would have a ladder sight for rear if they made them in a flip up.

    Great Review with the MBUS. Have a question. I noticed the front post of MBUS Gen 3 and MBUS Pro have the easy to use turning knob but the arrow is opposite direction compared to the MBUS Gen 2. Any particular reason? Does the front post on MBUS Gen 3/Pro rotate different UP or Down as it would in the MBUS Gen 2?

    • @crazyhawk99
      @crazyhawk99  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can imagine that it is true Magpul products in the UK are expensive. I will say there are considerably better built and much more durable than the Chinese copies on eBay. However, if you are running them on an airsoft rifle the cheap ones will be fine. Thanks for watching and for your feedback!

    I understand you're really comparing the 2's to the 3's but nothing I saw would convince me to purchase either over the Pro's. $30 more is not a significant price difference, neither is the weight difference, and the Pro's just look 1000% better IMO.

      @crazyhawk99  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      First of all, thanks for watching and for your comment. As for your $30 difference comment, you may want to watch again. Regarding the MBUS 3 vs the Pro, the street price difference in a set is $60 and $100 difference MSRP.
