It’s a very cool and creative airport, I noticed a lot of “easter eggs” I guess you would say. Gate C1 had these cool copper things on the railing and when you touched them it turned on a light, there was cool hidden creative art all over the airport like that. I do find it funny that they still have carpet though, it’s definitely a unique place.
I wonder if the growth that Portland will experience if the airport will expand and build another terminal or not. I know we aren't as popular as Seattle, but Portland has become a hotspot for Californians to move to.
I doubt they’ll build another terminal on the current grounds. I think it would take a huge migration of people to the area to have them think about it. I could see them continuing to add on to the existing terminal. But hey maybe they’ll add another small terminal and a tunnel
Yes cause it's undergoing a MASSIVE RENOVATION and I live here and they blocked off the old TSA cause they're gutting everything out so they can make the airport aide open and these Ticketings are not going to be there for very long. They're going to move the Check ins to further back and they're moving it upstairs
Yep! I live here too, and you're right. But that's why I was so taken aback by everything going on. It's been one way for my entire life, so it was weird seeing everything being gutted. 😃
What is weird, you mean? All of the shops and restaurants pre-security are closed because they're doing a huge renovation. I have a blurb about it in the description.
