The Crappie Catching Carolinian has just clocked in and he’s ready to go to work 👍🏾🎣
LOL, thanks for watching my friend.
Enjoyed watching you pull those slab daddy crappie in, Steve. You might try spraying your net down with some flex-seal to rubberize it to reduce your hook snags.
I know.
Thanks for taking us along on your fishing trips Old fisherman...Layin it to em ! Time to get the grease hot. :)
Had some for dinner tonight. Thanks for watching.
Very nice slabs and thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
If people knew how much time it takes to use livescope you'd be amazed. I bet others like myself that have the scope don't wanna clean a limit of crappie every trip. I get my 10 to 15 if I need them and play with the rest. I kept more crappie without technology because it was harder. Now I've learned the scope I have a new outlook on keeping. Scope ain't easy to use and the fish won't bite all the time no matter what you do. Love your videos 👍
Thanks for watching
Mr old fisherman, I was told that if you spray those cloth meets with the flex seal Spray that it will coat it and your hooks won't stick into the fabric anymore... just a thought... thanks for the awesome videos!
Great idea, might work good.
Thanks for the tip, I already knew that just haven't done it yet.
I can't wait to get better I just got surgery I got to wait to go fishing but I love your video
Hope you get well soon.

Gotta love it !
Great show brother God Bless !
I'm sure it will work in that clear water but, I seem to catching them faster with minnows. I will give your jigs a try first from now on then adapt over to the minnows. Thanks for all you have done for The Old Fisherman, God Bless.
Hello Old l Fisherman how are you good to see you

Mr. Steve,
Thank you for everything you do. Love the videos.
Here where I live in California minnows are 6.00 dozen and gas is 6.15 gallon. This is crazy my doctor said you need a colonoscopy every 5 years. I told him I think I get one every time I go to the store.
Tight lines!!
Take care my friend
Glad I don't live in California, I though things were high here. Thanks for watching my friend.

We Fishing Man
Thanks for going.
Steve thanks for sharing your wonderful videos with us u r da man, but 2 quick questions please? Why do u choose to not use an anchor instead of constantly fighting with your trolling motor?
2. Have you ever thought about putting rod holders on ya boat , we have them n hook up ratio is better for us than laying them down like u r doing. I’m not trying to discredit anything u do because apparently it’s working for you just curious how u feel about different things, thanks my friend u r the most fun to watch.
I do not use rod holders because for me that is not my style of fishing because I don't do just live bait fishing and they get in my way. Now as far as a anchor, unless you use 2 it don't work for my style of fishing because I am always putting different angles on my lure. With that said I would not be catching enough fish to do a TH-cam show using a anchor or rod holders.
Persistence works sometimes
Only if you are on the right track.
Awesome job buddy great video sir where do you get your net from
Academy Sports
Steve I thank that I'm going to do some crappie fishing in the rain on Saturday . Steve what color jig would I us if it's raining ?
That depends on how clear the water is where you are fishing, trail and error.
The hat you have on in this video I would like to know where you got it from
Academy Sports.
I know, Just need time to do it
I’d be willing to bet that as long as you can take that boat out and keep fishing, you won’t ever sell that boat for an upgrade cuz Ms. Deborah got you that one. How are you liking catching fish on that St. Croix Panfish rod?
You are right my friend about the boat and I love the Panfish rod. Thanks for watching.
you spent 6 dollars in gas just to get minnows, but you did have fun catching them slab crappies
You are right my friend
Get ya a new net, brother. Lol.
I like the long handle and size and weight of that net, it is light, I got a heavy net in the boat, I'll deal with it.
are there more perch than crappie
Don't know how to answer that, why do you ask?
IMO states will have to adjust Crappie limits or else livescope will put the hurt on the countries lakes.
They need to stock more crappie.
Average fisherman isn't catching lots of crappie with livescope, fishermen who are, pretty much pretty much take just what they need.
I think the quality of crappie will decrease, not numbers.
Guys catching are taking home the biggest.
Gotta hookum to cookum salaam peace
Thanks for watching.
