I always thought that this game had a much better premise than "The Lost World" (the movie): an all-out war between Biosyn and InGen over control of the run-down park and dinosaurs is a great idea, although I cannot see Dr. Grant going Rambo against a bunch of mercenaries. Considering that the movie sequel didn't even follow Crichton's novel save for the basic idea of Malcolm going to Isla Sorna (which, ironically, features a similar scenario to the game, only on a much smaller scale: Biosyn and Dodgson are back to steal dino eggs), they could've just gone with a completely original premise without even asking the author to write a literary sequel first especially since, unlike the movie version, "Jurassic Park" had a much more definitive (and darker) ending.
