I'm really happy for Milo, that he finally gets to live his life free of this specific burden a lot of us carry. It was very kind of the surgeon and his team to offer this to him. ❤ And for folks in the comments purposefully spreading lies about Milo "detransitioning" and his age: Milo is in his early twenties, stated so at 2:43. Which means he got top surgery in his early twenties, as an ADULT. He's entirely capable of making decisions for himself and take responsibility for these decisions, and anyone who actually watches this video can attest to that. Get out with your fearmongering.
I loved this video! I'm actually 6 days post op right now (i get my drains out tomorrow!) and I'm so excited to see my chest for the first time. I'm trans nonbinary and got the fishmouth incision, which kept my nips attached. I love that everyone can choose what they want and try to get what their most ideal outcome would be!
Wow this video had me in absolute tears. Dr. Sajan is so sweet and comforting. Also love South Asian doctor representation (as someone living in South Asia) I also love seeing what happens inside the clinic- the discussions, the entire process, the markings of the chest, it was so raw and informational. Thank you for making this video.
Don’t do it. They want you in the system and sterilised so you can’t procreate. You will spend a lifetime on meds and never have addressed the true issues. There’s no such thing as a wrong body, only a troubled mind. Your breasts are beautiful. Women are beautiful and special. I know this message will fall on deaf ears, but I hope you find peace.
@@prettyyboymav1.0 Are you sure about that? Or am I the one who is awake and not following what the government are pushing! I know exactly what I’m talking about. If you think men can be women, then you’re the person that needs evaluating! ✌🏼
I'm a trans man and have known since I was like 5 or 6 but had to wait until I was 33 to start on T. I have been on it for almost a month and already am starting to feel much better!! I can't wait to get top surgery and start growing facial hair
This is just beautiful. Dr. Sajan doesn't know how much of a God he is really looking like right now to us for doing this. I just found out about him and this a couple days ago and found his TH-cam. I've jus started the paperwork his team sent me and got my account and everything setup and am praying i get picked and everything goes right. I just want to be happy and live longer. 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
I'm 4 days post op. Today I was at the hospital to change the dressings and to check how it was healing. They told me to tape my scars, for a LONG time, to prevent them from getting wider. Also the surgeon told me to tape them. U are definitely not supposed to touch the wounds the first 5-6 days post op. Also I wouldn't be out in the sun for at least 12 months efter surgery, Not even with sunscreen. That's said on the internet also bc the scar is extremely sensitive the first year.
That's fantastic, Milo! I'm happy for you. I'm at the very beginning of my FtM transition & I'm much older than you & I live in another country, lol. I wish that there was another medical centre that did these surgeries. However, in Australia, in my state, in my city, there is 1 place. It's so disappointing that there is still so much prejudice against the 🏳️🌈 community here & I too wonder if I will ever be accepted for who I truly am & if I will ever be able to afford surgery.
Too many people my age and older do not get gender diversity. I think a story my mother told me when i was young made a big impact on me. Mom told me about a distant relative that was a male farmer and married with kids but mom told me they were obviously effeminate they moved and spoke like a woman and it seemed they should have been born a female. It began my journey of open-mindedness to all people.
This is such an inspiration!! I’ve been out as trans (ftm) for 11 years now and unfortunately due to financial and health issues I haven’t been able to start to medically transition yet, but I’m finally at a point with my health that I’m good to get started on the process and I’m hoping to start HRT in just a few months!! I have dreamed (ever since I was little) to have a flat chest and more masculine features, and seeing people who have been able to start their transition and finally get to where they feel comfortable in their bodies honestly makes me cry sometimes lol. Idk if I’ll ever be able to afford top surgery but I’m gonna do everything I possibly can to make it happen. I’m so incredibly grateful for stories like these and for the amazing doctors/surgeons who go out of their way to help those in dire need of medical intervention! Thank you, ALL of you, for sharing this beautiful story. I wish nothing but happiness, good health, and success to everyone! 💙🏳️⚧️🤙🏼

@@shamusteakiawaI have cis women friends who also want top surgery, they just don’t like having breasts. So what? Unless you love having breasts, or feel strongly about breast feeding, the only other reason to keep the, is because you think you should- you’re worried about being desirable to men or worried women will think you’re not a real woman, and if you feel like that- great- keep your breasts and enjoy them . To many of us, trans or not, they’re just lumps of fat, not limbs ✂️
@@liam_er I decided to go no nipples because i have nipple dysphoria. They are completely pale and hard to see. It doesn't make sense to transplant them when they aren't very visible. Also i suffer a lot from these stupid oversized pimples, as this is how i call them. I sometimes get "nipple cramps", which are very painful. I prefer 3D nipple tattoos over those real meaty things. Another reason is because i want to decided myself where the fake nipples will be. I've seen so many post-surgery pics of trans guys with nipples that were so low, that they didn't really look masculine. I want to have my nipples right on the pectoralis muscles, not below them. Oh btw i'm a binary trans guy. To be precise, my body is intersexual but looks female outside. It's complicated in my case but i identify as 100% male.
Nipples can fall off after top surgery anyway, besides when youre fully healed you can find a really good realism tattooist and get them to tattoo nipples haha, its also (i believe) much less expensive than having the surgery and keeping your nipples
