    The most important technique, and it's the one that can't really be taught: design. That's the spot where I struggle as a builder.

    So many techniques I need to learn how to use... Thank you so much for this series, I've come to really love the freedom and designs of the Kotobukiya lines and I'll definitely be making my own customs, not sure which F.A Girl to get yet but this channel has been a huge inspiration to me. Thank you from America and I look forward to more videos in the future!

    My first comment ever on YT- and I LOVE these videos!!! I've been modifying models for some time but I often can't seem to get great tools (usually can only afford cheaper stuff after buying the model, lol). I need to get my hands on those shown here, especially if an award-winner uses them 😁
    I can't wait for the next video!

      I suggest trying materia black version for your first FAgirl, its a nice simple design that you can learn to work with, then i'd go with jinrai for your second and then gourai for your third

    I will never use a chisel again because back in high school I cut my finger open pretty badly and had to go to the hospital and get stiches. I was refurbishing a wooden chair. besides, I'm a perfectionism so I could never be happy with my amateur work, which is why I only make straight builds. GREAT JOB KENNY
    I do feel that the necklace-looking piece is a bit excessive for baselard's smaller chest, but that's just me

    very cool design, cant wait to see the end result.
    What stand did he use at the end to hold the primed baselard (the black stand with the arm)

    >"People are afraid to use plaplate"
    Are they? Im curious, after years of making models plasticard (plaplate) has become a staple of mine
    Nice work, the detailing looks good although I think the model looks a little top heavy with the central pod/backpack/vernier holder rising up like that. Personally I would have mounted it lower down on the back to balance the shoulders and head crown out.

  • @gigaslave
    @gigaslave 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Plaplates, huh. I was thinking of customizing using epoxy putty and a dremel.

    where could i get a chisel set like that?

    • @somechinesedude5466
      @somechinesedude5466 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      HLJ
      Search for BMC chisel or sujiborido
      There are cheaper alternative like using a minus screw driver or other square shaped sharp objects
      Its just sujoborido that made a standard for precision
