    Check back in 15+ years. I still have a 2004 XR75. Original clutch, brakes, carburetor, etc, etc., etc. There is a Honda dealership just up the road from me should I need work done or parts. This is a no-brainer; buy the Honda. You get what you pay for.

    I agree that this is a tough comparison as the honda is more dirtbike related and the ssr is a pitbike. The honda you could buy throw tall bars on and ride for years without touching it. The ssr you have to keep up on maintenance and parts but its very easy to work on and parts are cheap so I went with an ssr its fun personally to tinker with stuff

    That's not what it's going to completely sound like on the SSR 125 because it's in neutral

    Yeah the SSR might be cheaper, BUT you will be spending more money on it then the Honda because as you said ‘the chain already broke’. I’m not hating on Chinese pit bikes but they tend to break a lot more and the Honda can take more abuse

      i agree with other brands like tao tao and apollo and x pro but ssr bikes are a little bit more solid than the other ones that why they cost a little more to. You just have to take care of it.

    Does the SSR feel safe to moderately jump or do you think it wouldn't stand up to the abuse?

    • @czsmods
      @czsmods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would stand up for the abuse for a little while. But I bet after 10 hrs u would b replacing bushings and rear shock. That's if your jumping it a lot.
      Moderate use, we've put 10-15 hrs on them and haven't replaced anything but the chain.
      Engine is solid, it's just the bearings and bushings you have to watch out for. Hope this helps.

      @@colelangley5968 I guess you don’t know your bikes. Honda don’t make Pit bikes. They make dirt bikes, trail bikes and street bikes. But never a pit bike. Pit bikes are just bikes used to ride around on like in the pits of race tracks. And usually made by a chine, Japan, filipino or Korean or Asian companies. And pitt bikes very in different cc’s. So again the four big companies Honda, Yahama, Suzuki, and Kawasaki never made a pitt bike only dirt bikes, trail bikes, or street bikes. They also tried to keep up with mopeds or scooters. But again Europe has the Asian market cornered on scooters and mopeds

    The Honda is a dirt bike not a pit bike.
