@@darren2007in general it’s unhealthy. Not directly to the voice, but it causes unhealthy vocal habits that weaken parts of the voice that can result in damage. When you staccato notes it’s an easier way to navigate through a series of notes vs a smooth legato run. Legato meaning connected in music. So because of that you’re not focusing so much on breath control to give your voice enough power to go through a whole run. Which over time will affect your breathing that is required to support the whole voice.
I was there last night! She looked AMAZING & her voice sounded so healthy and her lower register and upper register are in tact! Her voice is so powerful the videos don’t even do it justice! 😍🐑🦋
Her tone is so beautiful. I like this video, as it shows that there is playback, but Mariah IS singing. She does have to economise, because her voice does get tired more easily.

Breath support and too much insecurities on how she looks is limiting her capabilities as a vocalist. Taylor trained like an athlete 6 months before the tour started so that her breath support would improve and hold up. She sung every note on that tour live. Period.
