Salam Masood jan bradare Aziz. you are very talented, very competent and very good artist, great respect. I wish you a long healthy life with much success and joy.
This was really fascinating to watch and listen to as a violinist who studied western classical and American folk traditions. Is the way the violinist is holding the instrument standard Afghan practice? I'd be fascinated to compare and contrast the different ways different musical traditions use the violin. Thanks so much for the upload! I really enjoyed listening to you both :)

It can be his own preference. Since Violin is not that famous in Afghan music so there's no specific holding style.
hi sultanjan, where does this melody come from? I know it is qataghani rhythm, but what about the melody? Is it a raag? THanks for clarifying!
Mar Musician hello
Thank u
This is an old traditional folk melody
It’s based and some Hindustani ragas
Can say raag bhairveen + Kirwani + pagadi
Nice

Which afghan tabla taal is this?
@@assibabdali817 it’s call qetaghani style but it’s a variation of taal Keherwa which is 8 beat Pattern…
