Some DC skins I would love are Robin and Cyborg to compete the Teen Titans.
Penguin to promote the Penguin show. Peacemaker and Vigilante down the line.

Blue Beetle to make up for not promoting the Blue Beetle movie and he should have a built in glider from his wings that his suit could make.
Green Lantern either Hal Jordan or John Stewart.
Ratcatcher 2, Polkadotman, and King Shark to complete the good Suicide Squad.
A green lantern skin with a light construct wrap and maybe a construct emote would go so hard imo

Also we could kinda be Green Lantern in Fortnite. Just use a Superhero skin and have the top palette be green and have the bottom palette be black. You could change the green to any other color to be a different type of Lantern.

I’d probably put some of the blame on Marvel for the lack of DC skins. Not cuz they’re rival companies but it’s cuz Marvel does a skin for almost every god damn season.
22:12 There was an Aquaman wrap being developed for his Battle Pass. Ironically, it got recycled into Shang-Chi's from Marvel. An unreleased Batman wrap was also leaked recently (meant for his first two skins based on the codename, which could mean this is a leftover from the 2019 collab).

Fun fact, in the early years of Batman comics, he did wield a gun, and didn’t mind killing thugs. This changed when Batman meets Dick Grayson, turning Dick into robin, and Batman now not killing his enemies.

10:36 Finally someone said it. This design is honestly one of my all time favorite villain designs of all time. Black Manta is so often criticized for having such an oversized helmet, but this design fixes so much of that original issue by making the entire suit way more bulky to compensate (and also having an in-universe reason for it to be as big as it is, is really cool) something else I really like about the suit is that unlike almost every other design for him I’ve seen, he actually has red in more places than just his eyes, which makes the helmet naturally bleed into the rest of the design whilst still not looking out of place.
15:25 I’m not gonna say that the arrow-verse design is necessarily bad. buuuuuut, I am still so upset that they didn’t include his comic design, it’s so much more fun than generic Dark color pallet suit nb 27. Give me my silly green suit 😭
24:41 omg, I’d almost completely forgotten those, I vividly remember just going :0 ”what!?” the moment I saw the Super Man 64 rings being referenced. They were also just unironically good challenges, I feel like most challenges nowadays are just “shoot person with X condition” or “go to X location and interact with Y thing” or “just play the game normally but now we track stuff” but these challenges had actually creativity and love behind them which was really cool.
29:15 ok, I get that this is somewhat of a weird thing to comment on, but has anyone else noticed how absolutely high detail Deathstroke’s nose looks? Like seriously, I genuinely can’t quite wrap my head around why it looks so odd. Even though he’s wearing a mask he still somehow has the most pronounced nostrils of anyone in the game. And i can’t tell if it’s just the mask that makes it look bigger than it actually is, but his nose also looks uncomfortably big. Other than that, the skin itself is pretty cool ig.

Marvel is potentially next. When May rolls around, it would be 1 year since Fortnite added a Marvel skin/character, with Miles and 2099 being the last ones added in May 2023.

New X-Men skins are rumored to coincide with X-Men 97
This has a low chance of happening, but they could bring back Deadpool and Wolverine or make new skins for Deadpool & Wolverine. But also, we are possibly getting less Marvel skins because Marvel Studios said they were slowing down on films.

With Disney now owning 10% of epic games as whole, I imagine in the coming years Marvel will make a return in terms of cosmetics. Probably a lot more MCU based skins rather than comics tho.

@@ionobru dude the dc roster of characters is huge they could add anyone from dc. they could do justice league battle pass with other alt style of superman batman wonder women. they could also add green lanterns hal jordon or john Stewart green lantern super girl , same thing a battle pass exslusive joker skin as well and maybe wrapper for guns hawk man, hawk girl, darkside, lex luthor martain manhunter brainaic ,revers flash. any ways I could list thousands of characters but they could ad a number of characters or they can do a justice league battle pass like i said at the beggening of this skins battle pass with different alts of the ones that have already been out.
I remember watching this video when it originally came out- and I find myself coming back to it a lot. As a humongous DC fan I admit I am a little upset to have missed my favorite character of all time next to Huntress (Starfire) so I find a sort of comfort in this video.

I had the Fortnite Battlepass at that time. I got to level 68. So mad I didn't get Raven I just didn't like the season but I really wish I just pushed through
Solid video! I think one of the factors was the oversaturation o DC and Marvel Skins TBH. Now that there less skins like that, people have been praising the collabs a little bit more.
But i do hope to see some Lamterns, Supergirl and Static at some point.

I hope one day DC will get their own Marvel like season with the BP being FULL of DC characters like Green Latern (either Hal, John or the other GLs), Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Lex Luther, Cyborg, Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Martian Manhunter, and so, so so much more. Let's hope the DCU will be a success that this could be possible

Epic never goes around and talks about their plans for future seasons or even crossovers in that manner unless it’s something huge like Disney purchasing 10% of Epic Games. Also, this is pretty deep in the leaks of Fortnite but there was a Spanish leaker who was believed to be an Epic employee or knew someone who was, who stated that Epic planned on future collaboration seasons. Stop spreading misinformation bro.

Ive been hearing pretty much since the Marvel season that seasons exclusively centered around a licensed property won’t happen again, its old news so i couldnt tell you where i got it from, but its not like im purposefully going around trying to spread misinformation.

Sticker - if you have one that matches nightwing logo then put it if not there’s really no need anyway

Also I was so happy when they brought back the DC skins in Ch4S3. I started playing in Ch3S3, so for an entire year, all I had was Starfire and Black Adam (didn’t get Dreamer). I was missing so much 😅
I'd imagine it's cause epic is now in a partnership with Disney, which may muddy the waters with their relationship with Warner Bros.
I really would have loved to have to seen Blue Beetle and one day complete the Teen Titans set, I’m shocked we got Starfire before Nightwing

It is such a shame that we haven't had any new DC skins since Chapter 3 Season 4. There are so many DC legends missing from the game. Shazam, Peacemaker, Cyborg, Nuidis Vulko, Lex Luthor, Blue Beetle, Riddler... and that's just the surface.
Hey great video! I loved this sort of documentary style look at the history of the dc comics outfits. To this day I still have my fingers crossed we will get Green Lantern.
I think one of the .a in reasons dc collage have disseapered is because of the movies but also because a lot of fans feel tired with the superhero collabs. Marvel skins have also been coming out less but marvel clearly still has a strong bond with fortnite.
Speaking of which, I would love to see a similar video covering the marvel collage but there are a lot more so it would be hard. I love both marvel and d and get really excited when those skins come to the item shop
In my opinion, we need more DC villain skins. Super popular ones like Reverse Flash or just the most obscure characters like Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man.

awwww man now this is a video that speaks to me because I LOVE DC, I love the company & the characters they own they own, some of my favourite characters of all time are DC characters & what got me into Fortnite was the collabs… so when I heard DC is in Fortnite I was so in!! I started at the end of C2S5 so all I’m missing is Aquaman, Green Arrow & Dreamer (i didn’t know who she was)
And I gotta say overall the DC series in Fortnite is my absolute favourite, the styles, what they offer, how they look my favourite collab series by far.
But it’s so upsetting that not only we have many duplicate skins (5 Batmans, 2 Harley & 2 catwomen) but also the lack of characters in general & the long span we have gone without a DC collab? It really upsets me coz this is the only place we can see Marvel & DC characters collide and we haven’t gotten a single collab in almost 2 years… and it’s coz of that failure of a game Multiversus & also I feel like the amount of marvel content we got sort of out Dc/WB off??
But in some good news, there were recent rumours of Robin & Peacemaker joining, if true that’s absolutely amazing, they have been some of my most requested for ages, especially Robin I’ve wanted him for the longest time… I hope we do eventually get more coz we are in dire need of more, I was thinking we might get something in Fortnite OG since that was a celebration of Chapter 1 but nah. I hope we get more, I’d LOVE DC battle pass or even mini pass coz we need way more DC characters than what we have and they don’t have to all be from Batman.
Zatanna, Green Lantern, Supergirl, Darkseid, there’s so many they can add and then ofc other Batman characters coz they are the most popular but there’s so much diversity and choices.

8:19 I think it's cause its small size and low-key color scheme makes it very appealing to sweats. Like, it had no bright glowing stuff on it and it was 2/3 the size of a regular pickaxe without the big metal head.
I heard at some point they were planning some sort of crossover with multiversus when it comes back this year. I only hope we get more dc skins such as the rest of the teen titans and batfamily members. Also looking forward to see starfire and dreamer back in the item shop.
I would actually kill for a Red Hood skin with a bunch of different edit styles like helmets, different jackets, or different holsters and stuff like that

I just want The Batman 2022 Skins added to the game: Batman, Catwoman, the Penguin, and Riddler would be great skins to add in Fortnite. Especially now since they’re able to change skins with cars, they could even add a Batmobile skin.

DC wont have the same character in two shows at the same time. Robin was in teen titans. They wouldn't put robin in the batman animated show till season 4 because they had to wait.

I think we might now know as to why that is. It might sound stupid, but it's what I'm thinking; recently we found out that Disney of all people have put $1.5B into a good amount of Epic's stakes, and they are already trying to make changes like what they did with the age restrictions on cosmetic items. And because Disney owns Marvel, this may mean that they do not want their biggest competition, DC Comics, having any more new stuff in the game. Just a thought, and I might be well off, but it could be why.

Dream Girl is the character that was already established. Though given she's only appeared in the comics with only cameo appearances in Superman TAS and the Legion of Super-Heroes cartoon and animated direct to video movie, she's even more niche.

My best guess is that when Disney had bought 10% of epic games, part of the deal is that they can’t add any third party superhero’s to the game that don’t already exist within it.
Not sure why that would be an issue given the two companies have worked together numerous times, such as with the Lego Marvel/Star Wars games. (They’re developed by Warner Bros.)

Something I really want honestly is the Batman Animated Series version of Batman, Joker and Harley, those designs are super iconic and I ber people would love to have them in game, SPECIALLY Harley in the actual Jester outfit, Bird of Prey and Rebirth Harley are fine I guess but like... Why not the Harley people love the most?
The same thing has been happening with marvel, there hasn't been a new collab since the two spider verse skins, I think epic just wanted to use their resources in their new metaverse thing in the launch of chapter 5🤷🏻♂️

The reason they stopped making skins was because of the multiverses game, there was meant to be a peacemaker and The Batman skin around march but epic lost the rights to make new cosmetics and became of that they decided to use the already made peacemaker face model for a John cena skin
And the reason the items have come back since is because they still have a contract for them cosmetics because of the Fortnite Batman comics and how the codes don’t expire for a while
It baffles me that Robin, Green Lantern and Hawkgirl are not in the game yet, it seems like a no brainer, it would be fairly easy to create entire sets for them. I’d say it’s also weird that we’re missing Cyborg and Martian Manhunter.

Gotta be honest, I don`t think DC movies that warner doesn`t want to market are the problem. If it was, then why wasn`t there any other warner crossovers in 2023? If I`m not forgeting anything, there wasn`t a single warner bros collab in 2023, despite the fact that there were a lot of opportunities for diffrent promos: Barbie movie, Fiona and Cake, Mortal Kombat 1, a new show from Genndi Tartakovsky. All of these films/shows/games had a lot of potential for amazing collabs, that would`ve defenetly made quite a lot of money for both epic and warner. Hell, even just adding some of their iconic IPs without a reason would make warner quite a lot of money. Warner owns quite a lot of iconic and popular stuff outside of DC: Lord of the rings, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Gremlins, RWBY, Iron Giant, Looney tunes, red vs blue, Nightmare on Elm street (partialy), IT (partialy), Steven Universe. Just add any of these franchises and people would absolutely buy it, even without an accompanying movie.
So I think that the problem is with Warner themselves. For whatever reason, they themselves seemed o pull the plug on fortnite collabs at all sometime during mid to late 2022 (and potentially canceled their bp collabs in c4s2 and c4s3 causing those seasons to only have 1 bp collab unlike the usual 2. But that one`s just a theory.).
Robin is rumored to become a skin at some point hopefully this year and I hope he has a nightwing style

Many people buy the bundle just for one of the characters anyways.
So it's smart (and shitty) for Epic to release multiple items together for a higher price, than it would be to sell separately for less.

There were a lot of different factors 1.) the dreamer skin received a lot of backlash from parents and didn't sell very well in the item shop at all. 2.) Neither did the Black Adam's skin. 3.) with Warner Brothers changing hands and the switch of heads there was a lot all things up in the air so epic pivoted to Marvel heavily. So much so that Disney and epic struck their deal which was announced not too long ago.

The Big explanation on the downfall: I blame Warner Bros for not signing off more characters to Epic games all because they want their games to get all the shine like how Netflix was with their games involving stranger things(they stopped dead by daylight too for a long time), so going around asking for Robin, or Cyborg will be the hardest thing ever due to the fact that it's all Warner bros doing and not Epic games (here is another example the Epic team has road maps and they've explained how the travis scott took 2 years to do due to the fact the artist took so long to sign off his rights)
- Cosmetics: Majority of the DC cosmetics are based on their Movie/TV appearance because epic felt like their more well known unlike Some of the Marvel ones

- Comic Book: i just wanna say that the fortnite comic was one of the best things we've gotten from DC in a long time, the story was just awesome and fun my favorite was literally Snake Eyes and Batman (they fought so good that many other characters just sat and watched them.
17:20 Hell no....just no, the reason why those tournaments were bad was because the people who won those tournaments were sweats that pretty much gatekeep those items, they won it, wore it for a day and then never used the skins ever again, not to mention most of the content creators went into different regions of those tournaments being toxic, seriously imagine going into a tournament for beast boy only to die by someone who's wearing the skin you're trying to win.

We have the animated Creature Commandos coming out this fall. 2024. I'm sure they will be doing something with them. That show kicks off the new DCU. Superman kicks off the cinematic DCU.
your pauses between parts are a little long I keep thinking the video's buffering maybe you can make them a little shorter because that bugs me and I think I might not be the only one but if you don't it's fine I'll probably still keep watching 🤠
