The first time I've seen them live was during Vans Warped Tour and wow. They were already big in Japan then in my opinion but they only had the small stage in the concert but that just made it so much better. While the people were waiting for them I just went to the side of the stage and saw the members which nobody did haha They were so down to earth and the focus Taka have preparing himself before concert was just amazing... I kinda felt bad disrupting him though when he noticed me creeping to pose for a pic. But the live was just A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Even though they had a small stage, the atmosphere was just top notch. Never forgetting that experience especially the seeing him pre-concert and the close up pic. Now it's hard to get a pic with him since their concerts are just so big...The VIP tickets just sold out so fast for their next North America tour....

I met a guy recently at the One ok Rock concert & he said he flew to the US from Japan to go see them, since the tickets in Japan sell out fast & it's pretty expensive.
On 1/17 they're playing in Toronto. And his English is very good, he'll more than likely use English to talk to the crowd outside of Japan so no worries. I want to see them too.

I love Cry Out in acoustic version, Taka is playing the song with Toru, and even if the video is recorded with a phone it sounds awesome. Also I love Wherever you are acoustic at Yokohama Arena, just with Toru's guitar :'3 Karasu live it's just amazing and what can I say about Deeper Deeper in Yokohama Arena 2014 or Kemuri 2007? God, I love all of their lives xd. I had the same reaction when I heard that high note in Clock Strikes at the first time. It was like "Taka are you even human?". This band is just... Incredible as fuck.
One of the many many many of my favorite ONE OK ROCK performances is C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. Live in Nagisaen! That was incredible! With the acoustic version at the beginning and then Taka making the crowd sing along was soooo tear-worthy! And then they finish it off with something only ONE OK ROCK can do, which is AWESOMENESS!
For album before 35XXXV will be performed in original version. Only 35XXXV and after will be the English ver. Saw them in Thailand. It was freaking crazy.

I'm OORer about a year now and seen their live 6 times already(including Download Festival in UK and concert in Korea), and they were always amazing! I'm so stunned by their energy and ability to sing amazingly while Taka runs and jumps around!!! I hope you get to go see them in Toronto next month and do live report!!!

They're having a North American tour in January that does include Canada I believe. Its their Ambitions Tour. I've been to 2 of their concerts in the US (Maryland) and Taka has sang some of his older songs and they were in Japanese. Some of the ones he sang were The Beginning, Clock Strikes and Wherever You Are.
The good news is that they are releasing a new album on the 13th of January so they're bound to be doing live gigs around the world again. I've seen them live and met the band. I really hope they come back to the UK so I can see them again XD

they wearin HBA in this concert and TAKA was on some japanese boyband (like 1D) in his early years. so he got a nice vocal training, and also he had a artist parents so it was in his blood anyway. and the clock strikes will always be my all time favorite :D

I'm currently obsessed with their studio jam of Taking Off. It's beautiful. Also absolutely check out the live video for Taking Off at Nagisaen! It's a montage of the whole show but it's phenomenal. I'm pretty bummed that in US they're pretty much only releasing English versions of their newest songs... I understand they want to reach a much wider audience but at the same time, we really don't mind the Japanese. At all. Anyway, easily one of my top five favorite live bands. I've never seen them headline and I'm hoping to travel a little over 3 hours to see them in NYC in January because I NEED to. Another J-rock band suggestion: coldrain. "Gone" and "Pretty Little Liar" are great songs to start with! They played the monster stage at warped this summer and killed it. 10/10.
My favorite songs from them live and recorded version are Nobody's Home, Deeper Deeper at Yokohama Stadium version and Wherever You Are and etc... I like them all lol
Heartache and Wherever you are are sooo nice live when all the fans sing along!! I've been to their concert 3 times so far (in germany) and damn it's really been some of the best concerts i've ever been to! Taka has an amazing voice live and it's so damn fun! Their Tickets were always only around 30€ (which is crazy cheap) The concerts here are also usually nowhere near as big as in Japan (maybe 300 people) so i've always been able to stand in the first or second row! And they switch between singing the english or the japanese version usually~ If you get the chance to ever to their concert do it!! (side note: at their last concert all the fans were so chill in the waiting line before the concert that Toru etc were walking around outside the venue and smoked next to their tourbus which was parked next to the fans waiting line lmao. And if you wait a while after the concert for them to come out you'll get a chance to get autographes and a pic (got my CD signed by all and a pic with Taka after the last concert👌))

Im really happy to hear that you want to hear the song in original, because when I was there in their concert in Manchester, UK, many of the people there shouted ''stop singing the fxxking japanese'' which frustrated me and they did sing most of their songs in English version

This reaction video is worth to watch. I always get a goosebumps everytime I watch ONE OK ROCK live performances. And I think ONE OK ROCK live in Yokohama Stadium performance is the best live performance of them. I recommend you to watch ONE OK ROCK special live in Nagisaen. It's worth to watch! :)

and TAKA was on some japanese boyband (like 1D) in his early years. so he got a nice vocal training, and also he had a artist parents so it was in his blood anyway.
and the clock strikes will always be my all time favorite :D
haha I exactly had the same reaction when Taka did the high pitch aaaaah part in Clock Strikes XD oh, and if you loved that part, you should also check out his Clock Strikes live in their 35xxxv japan live tour. (The one where he had his hair dyed green) He did another higher note in the middle part of his "aaaa" and it's just.... wooowww!!! I just destroyed the reply button! haha XD

If it isn't just, tell me and i'll gladly link you to it. Also try OOR's "studio jam session" of the beginning, the same as, mighty long fall and decision. It's great!

I'm currently obsessed with their studio jam of Taking Off. It's beautiful. Also absolutely check out the live video for Taking Off at Nagisaen! It's a montage of the whole show but it's phenomenal. I'm pretty bummed that in US they're pretty much only releasing English versions of their newest songs... I understand they want to reach a much wider audience but at the same time, we really don't mind the Japanese. At all. Anyway, easily one of my top five favorite live bands. I've never seen them headline and I'm hoping to travel a little over 3 hours to see them in NYC in January because I NEED to.
Another J-rock band suggestion: coldrain. "Gone" and "Pretty Little Liar" are great songs to start with! They played the monster stage at warped this summer and killed it. 10/10.
My favorite songs from them live and recorded version are Nobody's Home, Deeper Deeper at Yokohama Stadium version and Wherever You Are and etc... I like them all lol

I've been to their concert 3 times so far (in germany) and damn it's really been some of the best concerts i've ever been to!
Taka has an amazing voice live and it's so damn fun!
Their Tickets were always only around 30€ (which is crazy cheap)
The concerts here are also usually nowhere near as big as in Japan (maybe 300 people) so i've always been able to stand in the first or second row!
And they switch between singing the english or the japanese version usually~
If you get the chance to ever to their concert do it!!
(side note: at their last concert all the fans were so chill in the waiting line before the concert that Toru etc were walking around outside the venue and smoked next to their tourbus which was parked next to the fans waiting line lmao.
And if you wait a while after the concert for them to come out you'll get a chance to get autographes and a pic (got my CD signed by all and a pic with Taka after the last concert👌))

I have no words to describe how much I love this video. like, I feel so identify with it because I love them and I want to see them live and oh my God they are so precious and and I love them and I want to be in Japan and go to all of their lives because they look so fun and I'm dying inside.
My favorite live song is the beginning because gods the feelings. By the way you should watch the Live in Nagisaen because it is pure gold!
Maybe you should react to Girugamesh, because they disbanded this year and it broke my heart. One of the best bands ever.
