It’s been 2 weeks since we returned from our 23 day vacation in Uvita. This video brought back great memories including meeting you at the farmers market.

Great ride along, I felt like I was getting some exercise. 😅
Love the unedited version, not much editing required and it flowed nicely. 🤙
I watched it late at night, and it was relaxing. Seeing places I go to these past 2+ years. This will be my 3rd rainy season and I do enjoy the nice calm change of pace community. I know it makes it difficult for many businesses that thrive during the tourist months, but all the same it’s part of the pattern of life here in Costa Rica.
The Green/Rainy Season brings in cooler temperatures, water for all of natures creatures and plants, and it helps restore the water needed to operate the Hydro Electric Plants too.
There are benefits to each changing season here, and the cooler temperatures are welcome, but in the CR Summer months, the joy of countless warm and sunny days that never seem to end are as enjoyable as well.
You can always avoid crowds of tourists if you want to, this country has many open and barely explored jungles, rivers and waterfalls, not on the tourist regular agenda. The beaches are still beautiful this time of year too, and it doesn’t rain everyday.
Thanks again Ed for the journey through the place I now call home, you always show it like it is. 👍👍

Hello from Jaco CR. I love the rainy season and we definitely need the rain. Everything is definitely changing. I have seen muncho change in the 26 years I’ve been coming here.

I can’t imagine the change here in 26 years, or what it will be like 26 from now.

Great video, Ed. We love the green season, too! You didn't mention the great deals to be had on rentals during this time. Have you ever considered doing a binaural recording without the narration? A guy did that in Samara, and it was really an immersive experience. Have you ever listened to binaural sound recordings? All the best to you!

I have been meaning to do some “moments of zen” type videos showing nature with the distinctive sounds of the area.

Hola Ed and Pura Vida to you! Love these nearly-unedited-let'sroll-videos. They show so much and accompanied by your great commentary it was fun to watch. Btw, as a side note, our house is almost sold, contracts are being made and we are in the last steps of the process 🙂👍✌️
Really like the place where you live, lots of lush forest around...need to find something similar 😅🐸🐍🕷🦎🦜

Congratulations on the progress with the house, I remember how slow time seemed to go when I was in that process.

@@CostaRicaStory thank you very much! Fingers crossed all goes well and the buyers do not jump off...but don't think so. Oh yes, it took us almost 1 year now to sell it!
