    Great video Allen.
    I love the rainy season. Spent the month of August mainly in the Central Valley. Beautiful sunny mornings, clouds would roll in around 12pm and rain around 2pm. Although there were three straight days of rain at one but, but other than that the vast majority of mornings were dry and sunny. Next time we visit CR I want it to be in the rainy season. Prices are way lower and much less crowded.

    El Niño refers to the above-average sea-surface temperatures that periodically develop across the east-central equatorial Pacific. It represents the warm phase of the ENSO cycle. La Niña refers to the periodic cooling of sea-surface temperatures across the east-central equatorial Pacific.

    👋 We‘ll be travelling to Costa Rica in mid August this year- will this year be El Niño or La Niña….do you know?

    • @OffTheGridHomesteadCostaRica
      @OffTheGridHomesteadCostaRica  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do NOT think it will be either. El Nino and La Nina is not a normal or regularly happening thing. From my understanding...we don't really know when they occur. From my observation...the weather we are having now....looks like we are moving into a normal weather pattern that we've experienced most of our time in Costa Rica.
      When you are here in August...you should be about the middle way of the rainy season. It will be raining every evening, but your mornings should be absolutely beautiful!
