Crepes recipe:
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup milk
4 tbsp water
2 tbsp melted butter, plus more for frying
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, salt, and sugar
Whisk in eggs a little at a time
Slowly mix in milk and water to make a smooth batter
Strain batter into pitcher and set aside for 20-30 minutes
Heat nonstick pan over medium heat
Stir melted butter into batter
Brush pan with butter and add about 2-4 tbsp batter
Quickly tilt and rotate pan to caver base with a thin layer of batter
Cook about 1 minute until top is set and base is golden
With a spatula, lift the edge to check the color
Carefully turn over crepe and cook for an additional 30 seconds
Place a sheet of wax paper between each crepe as they are stacked to prevent sticking

I love the way your videos inspire me to get up. Quick suggestion that I hope you enjoy. If I had a walk in pantry like yours( I don’t), I would somehow figure out how to move the microwave in there and free up the kitchen counter space.

Cook your bacon in the oven. Just lay it on a cookie sheet with foil and bake it on 400 for around 10 minutes. Bacon stays flat and no greasy mess all over your stove 😊

Such a great video. I have never had any issues stacking crepes without paper in between, also ok with freezing them. In New Zealand we tend to make these instead of what you call pancakes.

Cook your bacon in the oven, no mess on the stove top. Comes out great.
This is the only way I cook bacon now. Best time and mess saver!

Hello, try making bacon in the microwave. Put it in paper towels and also cover with paper towels. Less mess. It try using the air fryer.

Arlika, i wish o still had your energy. When i hit my 60's all my cleaning motivation went south. Its just my husband and I now. So i clean the house once a week and thats it. The 2 extra bedroom s and bathroom doesn't get used so i hit them about once a month. I just don't have the energy i used to have since my accident.

My husband and I did a yard sale several years ago. Took almost 2weeks to get stuff gathered, marked and put out. We made pretty good money but my accountant husband figured out when all was said and done we made 62 cents an hour! 🤪

When are you going to redo the old pantry in your laundry room? I'm surprised you haven't done it yet. It would be a place for the litter box against the wall and maybe a long shelf for folding clothes and a place for the cat's food instead of on your dryer. Just think of the shelving above it and all the decor you could put on it. Would love to see that update.

Arika, I just had a thought… That little scalloped shelf above your stove and directly beneath your vent, have you ever thought about putting that in your bedroom to display all of your perfumes? I was thinking it would be the perfect width. I even thought if it was painted to match your new duvet, that would be so cool. Just a thought…

I'm so glad your garage sale was a success! I was hoping you'd let us know how much you got rid of and how successful it was, so thank you! I rent a townhouse and they won't let us have garage sales here, however a friend of mine is letting me put stuff in her sale. I'm hoping to get rid of a lot and recoup some of the costs!
