Dear Arika, I have been married for 38 years and the Mom of two Adult Son’s and two Granddaughters ages 8 and 4. I was never able to be a stay at home Mom when my boys were small, I had to work and earn a paycheck just like my Husband. I retired in 2020 and am now in what I feel is a very busy season of life. My Husband was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease 12 years ago and although still fully functional (he doesn’t drive anymore) he can’t do many of the things he used to do. We are dealing with aging parents who need help, I take care of my Grandchildren twice a week. They are homeschooled and help with that, I have all the homemaker responsibilities caring for our home and meal preparation etc. I have so much on my plate however I am human and complain about all I have to do . I am grateful to God that I am a strong Woman of Faith and I can do all I do. Your words that you read were such an encouragement to me! I do try to remember that in everything I have to do I am serving God . Thank you ❤
in the 60's and 50's not only did my mother do what you said, she also cared for her parents and my daddy's parents....all with dignity and grace....

Ive been incredibly blessed with a wonderful marriage and two awesome children, ( now adults), all my hearts desire. God gave me the gift of being a home maker, a wife, a mother, a caregiver. He is so good 💕 ...and now on to the next chapter

I am a widow, my husband was killed in a farm murder 6years ago. I am still trying to settle in, finding my feet, but it is not that easy. I know I can really on the Lord for guidance, love and support through this whole transformation.

First off, Happy Birthday! I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom. Not every day was easy, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I have 4 beautiful grown kids. They made me so proud this past week. We live on a ranch and my husband who is 70 was badly injured from an ATV accident. They all have been taking turns helping me on the ranch. They all live in different states. God has blessed me immensely!

Happy Birthday Arika🎉 Hope your day was as special as you are. Thanks for taking the time to encourage others. As a stay at home mom all my life it certainly hasn’t been an easy. But it’s a calling. My family growing up was in disarray and all I ever wanted was a loving home. My kids are grown now , have a grandson and one on the way. We moved to Texas because of a job transfer but my kids are on the East coast. Almost every conversation is when are you retiring, you need to come back. It’s so nice see our family even later in life want their mom and dad❤ After all those years from other’s negative views of my life, I know I did the right thing!

I get very tired n feel burnt out almost weekly. They are autistic and i do my best to be a loving grandmother but some days i find myself being more of a parent😞 I pray for strength and good health every day. I love your words of encouragement. I see Patrick all the time at church. I saw you one Sunday but you seemed in a hurry and was talking. So, I didn't try to catch up. We go to the 11 am service and sit near the front.
I know wedding planning can be overwhelming, but fun. I did all the planning and the arrangements, bouquets, flower arrangements, everything all by myself. I was so exhausted when it was over.

The squirrels use the stuffing for nest. I had the same issue and when I cut down a pine tree, all the stuffing was in the branches🥴😂👵🏻

Happy 50th birthday, Arika!! I truly believe that our families are blessed when someone puts effort in providing a warm, caring and nurturing environment. I have always needed to work full-time even though I would have preferred staying home. I have, however, always cared for my family. I love being able to provide for them, cook, and take care of the home. It is exhausting to work full-time at the workplace and home. It’s worth it though. Thank you for your thoughts. 😊
Im not only blessed to be a homemaker, but a homeschool homemaker-its not always easy, but its always worth it, especially with the war that is happening against our children in the public schools

There are 7 kids in my family + my Dad. She was absolutely amazing!! She also served the Lord 🙏 And she passed that down to all of us. Happy Birthday. I googled scents that squirrels hate there is a whole list you could try a couple on your outdoor pillows to keep the hungry squirrels away. These scents include apple cider vinegar, dryer sheets, moth balls and irish spring soap. Hope you find something that helps.

Happy Birthday Arika! There is a spray you can buy to keep dogs from chewing up things. Maybe it would keep the squirrels away. I put my fall decor up today. Have a little more to do. We started school on the 8th.

That really got me choked up. I am 47 in September and I always wondered what God wanted me to do for His kingdom? My older brother said to me years ago, what more important job could someone have then raising Gods children and teaching them about Him. My brother is now a pastor and I know why lol.
