I'M SO PROUD OF THEM. This sounds so sick, and I'm excited for Smile! Everyone has their preferences, but metal is coming back, and I feel like Cane Hill is leading the revolution.
Never heard of these guys until I saw them yesterday and I must say not only did they put on a good show and were spot on by afterwords I met them and they were really down to earth and overall chill dudes I HIGHLY recommend this band
Cane Hill and Code Orange are two bands in this era of nothing that is pumping life back into the genre through originality and innovation. Shit needs more exposure, this is literally the answer to our hunger in the Metal community. Bands that don't give a shit and do what they want. This is what heavy music is all about.
Saw these guys at Rock On The Range this past Friday, they killed it, I even bumped into the bass guitarist and one of the other guitarists later in the day.
I only found this band a couple days ago and I have heard every song. And bands evolve and find their sound and I think all the songs are great if you want heavier go listen tons different band. Don't hate on a band for finding their sound.
I'm a Christian, but, if you other Christians are just a little worried about this song, just ask God for forgiveness. Maybe read your Bible after each song. Do whatcha gotta do.
If your god doesn't let you listen to music without being damned to spend eternity being tortured then you need either a new one or none. #goodwithoutgod
I don't care what anyone says. This song will be a totally different experience Live, just like all the others were. Catch y'all at the Dallas & Houston warped!
+christian hernandez yeah. they're a lot like motionless in white, but they do have some things they don't . but , I fully agree that they have the motionless in white sound
+Matty Luckhurst What's wrong with Motionless In White? This sounds more like a mix of Time Bomb and Gemini from the Self-Titled. The video maybe has some influences from America by Motionless In White, but the verses sound more Marilyn Manson-like. The Self-Titled was an experimental EP they put out to see what they (and their fans) enjoyed, and they decided to stick with a more Time Bomb-ish sound rather than French 75.
Well yeah that's just it. I love Gemini, and Time Bomb is my favorite Cane Hill song to date. But I'm not a Manson fan. I loved Creatures, got along with Infamous (hated America), and hated everything after. Cane Hill had an awesome style, the nu metal and hardcore stuff was sick. When the industrial stuff comes in, that's when I drift off.
Saw yall in concert maybe like 2016 with asking alexandria and bullet for my valentine and fell in love with you music instantly (my first concert also)
I can really see the Marilyn in the riffs and the clear drum beat and some of the tones and riffs are dope-like but power man 5000 is far from this song, power man 5000 is more traditional metal then nu metal witch seems to be the pattern of this band so I think it is more like a heavy marilyn/dope with slipknot undertones and of corse in a metal core type pase.
Max Nystrom and dimmu borgir , cradle of filth, gwar, the jackson 5 , and bruno mars.... Go listen to mudvayne and slipknot which obviously would be for the first time in your life and tell me where you hear that sound in this song.
PLEASE SATAN, MAKE THIS BE THE BEGINNING OF A NU METAL REVIVAAALLL!!!!! MAN I LOVE THEM, I FOLLOW THEM SINCE THE BEGINNING AND IIM SO PROUD OF THESE FUCKERS! \m/
You can't deny there are elements of these bands dotted throughout, such is testament to how well Cane Hill pulled off this sound, "St. Veronica" has sprinklings of Korn and Orgy, there's early Slipknot and Manson here and there...its nothing but a compliment
Am I honestly the only one who's thinking how offensive this is? I'm a Christian and this hit straight home for me. I try to always stay as open minded as I can, but when lyrics like these are in songs, like how low do you need to be to mock Christianity. The funny thing is though that I have the right and freedom to believe in what I want, but dare I say anything about Christianity to someone who doesn't have the same beliefs that I do, all hell breaks lose. But when a band openly mocks God like this and I have an opinion about that, well then, who am I to say anything about it? They're musicians, of course they can mock away, right? But hey, who am I to comment on this video. If I don't like it what the hell am I doing here anyways, right? Bring on the "typical butthurt christian" comments. There are no new hate comments I haven't seen before 👍🏼
+Martin Du Preez All religions have had mass genocides and killings, have caused many people to be oppressed. It's still a prominent issue, with The US and ISIS. Christianity against Islamic faith. Religion has caused more harm than good, so for musicians to publicly shit on it is all fair game.
+Paul Gorman See, I totally get and understand that though, and that's what I meant with being open minded. Corruption within religion have cause a lot of problems and have definitely been a major problem with being one of the main causes of wars, etc. For me personally though, Christianity is far from that and the only reason Christianity have been involved in these situations have been due to Christians thinking they know better and thinking that they know what Christianity is about, but in actual fact they don't. But that's another topic for another day though. What I'm trying to say though is that I totally get when musicians are open about problems in today's society, and I respect that 100%. I won't sit here and act like religion, including Christianity, has been nothing but good to the world, because in reality it has caused a lot of problems. I feel like Architects are a solid example of this.
+Paul Gorman continuing.. What does annoy and hurt me is when people, and especially musicians, mock Christianity and God and thinking it's all just a joke. This especially hurts when I try my best to be open minded and respectful of other's beliefs and seeing stuff like this. And I do get that there are some asshole Christians who ruin Christianity for everyone and making other Christians look bad. In the end though it still sucks seeing stuff like this and musicians mocking my beliefs when they don't even know what Christianity is about.
Yeah, I'm sorry that you feel attacked against your beliefs, it's just that the fact there have been so many major events that surround bad "christians / any major religion" that it's made people very aggressive to the idea of religions. I do believe that if you find peace in religion or you find new knowledge and morals from it, then thats fantastic, or you just enjoy the stories thats cool, but when its taken to extreme measure, it makes it very hard to take religion seriously. Just by my own view, I see religion as something that has really negatively effected people because people in power abuse it and make these radical groups, like things as far back as the crusades and now modern times of having these wars over islamic belief but really its just for control of the fossil fuels. It just bums me out when it comes to the topic haha. At least there are bands that give religion great rep like TDWP, they're strong with their beliefs and fucking slam haha
Yeah, I don't care if artists choose to attack Christianity but it's such an unoriginal thing to do now because it's been done to death. It's really not the cool rebellious thing it once was. Christians are pretty tame these days. If an artist really wanted to be edgy they would go after Islam.
Talking about being edgy? This one of the few noteworthy bands on Rise that are tearing up the scene right now. Warped is going to be lit when these guys play.
Reminds me of early Korn. Y'know before their new dubstep stuff. Korn & Dubstep go together like M&M's & Nacho Cheese. But Hopefully Cane Hill won't suffer through that.
apperently there new album is supposed to be very base and riff more then not fantastic and edgey dusted o love the band but that album was not my favorite.
I really don't get the hate with these guys! They are probably the most refreshing band on Rise and they're badass as fuck!
Elijah Witt is an outstanding vocalist. One of the best frontmen in this day and age in my own opinion.
Honesty died with weirder kids
This has such an obscene nu metal mid 90's vibe to it. That chorus is awesome.
This style is what will separate Cane HIll from the rest of the game.
FUCKING-A!
Word.
...It's been done before though. It's basically nu metal if nu metal had started in 2016 instead of 1994
LOL i hope byte is being sarcastic
Oh yeah. XD
In all honesty, Cane Hill are starting to get their own sound. I can't wait for their second album!
New Cane Hill, PVRIS and Beartooth all on the same day? Today is a good day :]

+Tristan Vall There is a new Beartooth song? Wtf!!
+MrPiro225 yup it's awesome :D you should definitely check it out
Wow, this band has been blessing us for about 4 years with awesome music!
Cane Hill and Code Orange are two bands in this era of nothing that is pumping life back into the genre through originality and innovation. Shit needs more exposure, this is literally the answer to our hunger in the Metal community. Bands that don't give a shit and do what they want. This is what heavy music is all about.
im a christian and i absolutely love this song
Absolutely getting Powerman 5000 and Motionless in White vibes!
Saw these guys at Rock On The Range this past Friday, they killed it, I even bumped into the bass guitarist and one of the other guitarists later in the day.
This new Motionless in White album is gonna be a banger!
I only found this band a couple days ago and I have heard every song. And bands evolve and find their sound and I think all the songs are great if you want heavier go listen tons different band. Don't hate on a band for finding their sound.
Son: Dad, why is my sister's name Rose?
Dad: Because you mother loves roses, son.
Son: Wow! Thanks dad!
Dad: No problem, Cane Hill!
I'm a Christian, but, if you other Christians are just a little worried about this song, just ask God for forgiveness. Maybe read your Bible after each song. Do whatcha gotta do.
lmfao pls
If your god doesn't let you listen to music without being damned to spend eternity being tortured then you need either a new one or none. #goodwithoutgod
Death"Three Reich's You're Out"2508 same
Z That guy Hail Satan. Fuck outta here with that ignorant talk of something you know nothing of.
vhjkcghk Aye, I never said anything that would offend anyone. But, I do forget, this is TH-cam, and everyone gets offended.
These type of songs make me believe more that Jesus is truly the Lord. 😊🙏 Praise God

Finally! Can't wait for the new album!
this shit must go hard live.
I love them! Can't wait to see them at download!
They sound so much like 90s band, they are amazing !
Why does this have so many dislikes? Sounds pretty similar to their EP so I don't think it's bad. But definitely more melodic than chugging.
it's not that....it's the satanic crap is going on...
Yo wtf i comment this shit lmaoo
Why the fuck does this have so many dislikes? Cane Hill is epic. They're one of my favorite bands and this is one of their best songs.
I hear Slipnot, Coal Chamber, King 810 with a splash of Ministry. I like it
Legit tho Cane Hill are so fucking talented can't wait for Smile :]

the Rob Zombie vibe is hella sick
+Emmi R. More Marilyn Manson than Rob Zombie. Still good.
+Emmi R. I get both but id have to say more of zombie vibe
+Moshpit tv yea the Rob Zombie is strong with this one.
Powerman5000 and Dope vibes as well
Can't wait to see them on warped tour!
I don't care what anyone says. This song will be a totally different experience Live, just like all the others were. Catch y'all at the Dallas & Houston warped!
Wow, who knew Shia Labeouf had such good vocals
Ha-ha
Witt looks nothing like Shia Labeouf lol
Not even close
He just did it
Korn and Slipknot had a baby...and that baby is Cane Hill
Rob Zombie and Marylin Manson* ?
It was a foursome
+little_avery17 This song was more like the metalcore marilyn manson
+Gonzalo Sánchez metalcore manson? you mean motionless in white?
+christian hernandez yeah. they're a lot like motionless in white, but they do have some things they don't . but , I fully agree that they have the motionless in white sound
Only the cool kids listen to Cane Hill
+Damian Manigat Yup
Only the people who think Korn is a good band listen to this garbage.
+Zach Morgan Heyyy thats me :D
No. just no.

These guys are so good live.

This band I listen to him since his beginnings and merit clearly much more fans.
cane hill killed this at Manchester tonight 🤘
This is something new. Exactly what I'm looking for.
you people squeel generic at every band you listen to but when something different pops up, you complain? CAN YOU MAKE UP YOUR MINDS PLEASE!?!?
+U FUKIN WOT M8 This shit is a lot more generic than most risecore bands.
Alex then you've never listened to any other riserecords bands.
@@DangerSquiggles fuck off
No Cane Hill please don't do a Motionless In White, your first EP and singles were so good :c

When the industrial stuff comes in, that's when I drift off.

1 of my fave cane hill songs so far!
Duuude this is such a step up from the EP. Love this video too!
+Brian Van B more like such a step down!! sounds like powerman 5000. fuck that

cane hill is bringing back that Powerman5k/Korn vibe. this band has so much potential and I can't wait for them to explode
DOPE, Marilyn Manson, and Powerman 5000 called...
and coal chamber
no wonder I hate it.
+kyle spiekerman I can hear the marylin Manson in the singing at the beginning
It totally has a Power Man 5000 feel to it. I have listened "Tonight the stars revolt" album. Sounds very similar.
The dislikes dont wanna follow the new jesus..
I love everything about this music video
This has elements of Manson, Slipknot, Powerman, Zombie, feels like I'm listening to WWF Attitude Era and it's fucking awesome
+Liam Ainsley That's fucking lame
+Gorth N Sports I know right!?
Wow I can hear multiple bands all at once this is awesome
I'm not any religious so idc what no one says I fucks with this
Strong Rob Zombie vibe. Feels like its kinda missing some of the aggression/intensity of their EP.
(I dig it though.)
+Carnstein Strikes me more as Coal Chamber than anything else, actually. He sounds almost exactly like Dez.
Carnstein got that rob zombie vibe as well
I could see this becoming a WWE theme
With the clean image this day in age I doubt it :/
at least they could throw the instrumental in. I'd love it :)
it would be cool with just instrumental too! but they seem to only play popular pop somgs -_-
Yeah, it would work perfectly if the company wasn't politically correct and saturated by PG bullshit.
Check the NXT TakeOver New Orleans theme ;)
Can't wait for their new album. Such a step up from the ep. Sick song and video
Its like all my fave 90s Rock & Metal bands got together to form an ultimate supergroup
Can't wait for the new album, shits gunna be great
between this song and Sunday School, I can't decide which is my favorite
It's like Rob Zombie meets Powerman 5000
Riley Bardell With slipknot and korn and Mudvayne
Max Nystrom and dimmu borgir , cradle of filth, gwar, the jackson 5 , and bruno mars.... Go listen to mudvayne and slipknot which obviously would be for the first time in your life and tell me where you hear that sound in this song.
So if Rob and his brother did an album together lol
Its like The Overlord of hell has been born and f*&^ing had enough. lol.
More like Slipknot meets Marilyn Manson :P
Cane Hill is coming.
Got to see these guys live last night. They're pretty good.

THANKYOU
You can't deny there are elements of these bands dotted throughout, such is testament to how well Cane Hill pulled off this sound, "St. Veronica" has sprinklings of Korn and Orgy, there's early Slipknot and Manson here and there...its nothing but a compliment
Behind it all.. it probably is those bands figuratively speaking... they may have grown up listening to all of thgem...

I just realized this sounds like DOPE.. sick though.
missed you guys
I feel so bad for liking this! BUT SO GOOD TOO!! :-p
Why feel bad? :/
+Emma McCrea i get it they are a bt ..ya know...super edgy as fuck ...(no hate)
Talking about being edgy? This one of the few noteworthy bands on Rise that are tearing up the scene right now. Warped is going to be lit when these guys play.
so much anger.. I love it
Reminds me of early Korn. Y'know before their new dubstep stuff.
Korn & Dubstep go together like M&M's & Nacho Cheese.
But Hopefully Cane Hill won't suffer through that.
But that was only for one album. And it was like 5 years ago.
***** Whoops. sorry.
+Hello!Nurd M&M's and Nacho Cheese.... you might be on to something! haha
apperently there new album is supposed to be very base and riff more then not fantastic and edgey dusted o love the band but that album was not my favorite.
Reminds me of America by motionless but I love this song just a little more. Cane hill is the best.
Be obscene be be obscene Dig through the ditches and burn through the witches , i slam in the back of my The new jesus is on the way.
My favorite thing is Witt in this video.
