Great to see her again. A couple of years ago, she was very much "en vogue". Glad to know she is still a solo performer. Thank for posting this video! ----------------------------- Rolf, Netherlands. A delight to see and hear! Do you notice how often she smiles? She really enjoys playing. Very nice camera work and sound recording, too. According to Wikipedia, she's been playing violin since she was two. Sounds like it! Her father plays cello and her mother plays viola. In 2006 she founded an ongoing chamber music festival in Zagreb. Check out some of their many high quality offerings (here on youtube at: thespotmusic). She's also a professor of violin at the Academy of Music and Dance in Cologne, Germany. I've viewed this performance a number of times and never get tired of it.
The Koreans are the best musicians in the East. I found that out when I was a GI in the 1950's while stationed in Korea. The two top singers in Japan were Koreans. Then we have Kyung Wah Chung and Sarah Chang of the violin. And when we visit TH-cam we see so many Korean prodigies.
Sparkling, yet ballsy sound - great! I love the way she just stands and delivers, without a bunch of unnecessary facial/body movement. Nice fiddle, too. :-) (I found no fault in her intonation, and this is Mozart we're talking about here! Hard to play in tune, to say the least.) XD

Not Korean but German/Japanese but nevertheless she plays this quite beautifully and is visually stunning in a wonderful pale mauve dress. I think she was around thirty when she performed this in Seoul.
@DarkPhoenix925 It sounds a lot like the one in the book next to Mozart's song. Some Chinese book. I forgot the name of it. It was by Franko (Sp? My teacher spelled it Frankel).
@5inthehole Well, Mozart's music had emphasis in many parts in the music. You simply followed with what you felt. I played with a small orchestra and we had a bunch of accellerandos and ritard.'s everywhere. We just followed with what each other felt.
I know he was a genius but I don't really like Mozart's work. BUT this is fabulous, played with such authority and joy by this very accomplished and beautiful violinist.
Amazing talented!!! She's Great!! Thank you!!!
Tout simplement splendide... la sonorité du violon de Suzanna est magnifique et elle joue avec énormément de talent. Merci pour ce partage. Michèle
Oh my!!!! I don't think that I've ever heard it so sweet. This is a truly wonderful violinist.
A great performance and a pleasure to listen to.

I think you're the best on youtube... sounds awesome *drools* I'll never be this good xD.
Sorry, I meant to give a thumbs up, not a thumbs down! I totally agree with you.
This cadenza is by Sam Franco- I was so happy, because I'm playing this and this is the exact cadenza that I have!
Sparkling, yet ballsy sound - great! I love the way she just stands and delivers, without a bunch of unnecessary facial/body movement. Nice fiddle, too. :-) (I found no fault in her intonation, and this is Mozart we're talking about here! Hard to play in tune, to say the least.) XD
awesOMe! ♥ Japan .. Sunsanna Yoko HenkeL
Heavenly.
Cadenza is by Sam Franko, a contemporary of Ysaÿe and, like Ysaÿe, a student of Vieuxtemps.

추카해
she is sweet so is the music she makes...
bravo
素晴らしい amazing.
音楽は国境を越えるね。 Music cross the border.
The first part of te=his video is ok....
but the cadenza is GREAT!!
i like this part 7:12
Edited 2021 : I mean I like that cadenza. I just found out that part called Cadenza
The cadenza is Henryk Szeryng's (I think).
@5inthehole Who's to say what the exact correct speed should be? Sounds acceptable to me.
Certifié intergalactique!
bravo))))))

추카해means congratulations :)
最後のカデンツァを、できることなら時間を止めてずっと聴いていたいような...。
what i ment was the orchestra.....think dude
hit those double stops
What's the woodwind that's playing 0:40? Is it the oboe??
13:27 John Entwistle on Oboe....... too funnny
Does anyone hears an accidental pizzicato at 3:10?
O_o
what the fuck are talking about? her pitch is great
very good sound but intonation is a little bit not exact
@sandi1555 lol look how pissed she gets
@sandi1555 no kidding u think she's an alien? lmao
Not a wrong note. This is embellishment, which the soloist can choose to create.
oooh wrong note at 4:55! I guess she's human after all!
That chic with the violin is HOT !
mozart doesn't need embellishment. perhaps she got that C from some obscure manuscript? it's certainly not common practice.
no feeling
you're wrong.
