I visited Gulfport Florida twice and wanted to move there! It's a really lovely town with a great library, great restaurants, friendly people and a wonderful nightlife. This was an informative video but I'm not sure why it's called You wont like it! Huh? I do like it.
It is generally a cool town. I own a home here that I rent out. I don't like all the dogs. Everyone that lives here seems to have one. I had a huge problem with a neighbor that had two large barking dogs. Keep that in mind if you move here and you don't like dogs.

My meaning was that Gulfport lacks modern technology, big box corporations, and all the things that make a quaint and unique area not so quaint and unique anymore! I understand your thoughts and yes, ...it is very New Age and a very open minded culture. What is your favorite part about it?

haha they had to put it on the news huh :) anything on the water usually gets storm surge - but hopefully everyone will be prepared if that happens!
I've lived here in Gulfport for about 29 years now and have never had any flooding in my yard or neighborhood. Do you do your own research? LOL

I live in st pete , about 8 miles from Gulfport. worked there a few time and been to a couple of restaurants. it sux!! lot of thugs there.
