I always hated the fact that by the time you got through collecting all the Star Cores you had pretty much completed the dlc and likely everything there was to do in the game. So you’d have this new awesome power armor that no longer had a purpose to serve.

Ah replaying fallout 4 again I remember this glitch a few years ago but you had to sacrifice one of your powersarmor sets to get the xo1 now you showed me an even better way of doing it by keeping both sets thanks
Just turn as you're getting out, a touch hard to time, but when you do it you phase through the glass and the first set stays outside, then you can fast travel out with the quantum set
Works the same for another suit of power armor north of the Red Rocket. You see the suit through the window but the door release is on the inside of the garage. You have to look at the suit through the window, and enter the suit that way. Then you can release the lock and walk out through the door.
On a recent playthrough I sorta speeded up the X01 acquisition as well, prior to even powering Nukaworld. Way I did it was I looted/cleared the Nukaworld Junkyard before meeting the Hubologists. On the quest ‘Trip to the Stars’, when they ask you to clear it out again (or depending on if you let an in game week pass or not, tell them it’s already cleared), it will respawn the Star Core that is located at the junkyard. You can then get all other star cores without needing the final one at the top of Starport Nuka and get your X01 prior to turning the power on in Nukaworld

now for easy transportation of both: make a save just in case a human companion gets glitched and cant go to a settlement then make your companion (dogmeat can be brought if you have the lone wanderer perk, if you want to take parts of the armor) go into the armor go into the normal/quantum armor and send your companion to red rocket or any other settlement go to the settlement make them exit the power armor now you saved 10 minutes (or five depending on your load screen time)
This happened to me and I kept the pieces from it. Saved me the trouble of looking for the Star Cores. I can always buy or find another set to put them on.
You can buy a frame from the atom cats every 2 days. So its not a big loss, just expensive (6k caps) but at that time you'd be drowning in caps...but still nicely done
I was fighting the Nuka World Raiders and one of them appeared wearing the suit somehow which was a bonus because it was taking ages to complete the StarCore Quest.I simply killed him and got the best power armour in the game
@@maggi98mw I know you might be on console but if you’re on PC you can use the console to re enable survival mode. Comes in handy for no clipping if you get trapped.
Totally worked on my ps4 on 2023 so it’s a legit glitch just have to make sure and look at the exact spots he does when he gets out while also making sure to use third person to look inside you character while exiting the glass case
I am not saying I originally found this method but once when I was in combat I just glitched in and got the power armour whilst dog meat fought for like an hour
If you wear power armor and put your back to the glass where you were standing and exit the power armor. You exit inside the glass then just fast travel out.
Or you can just turn at the right time getting out and you will be on the other side of the glass with your first set outside, literally way quicker than this (assuming you can fast travel that is)
You can still look for the star cores. Doing it in that power armor while fighting your way to those star cores is better. This armor can tank a lot of hits against those robots. FYI, one of the star cores respawns every seven game days in the Nuka World junk yard and after your started the quest. if you can't find a star core. It is a freebie. Any way it is a glitch, not cheating as some would call it. BTW, cheats and mods are fun. There is no harm in doing that. Just have guilt free fun!

Gotta admit, the sense of achievement you get when you unlock it without glitches is one of the most satisfying parts of the entire game. Nuka World, in general, was an absolute high point, at least for me. As someone who plays every game with a morality system as a goody two shoes "talk yourself out of any situation" type of guy, Nuka World was an exceptionally nice change of pace.
you can actually get inside by backing up in your power armor until you touch the glass. then you exit your power armor and end up inside the enclosure. fast travel to get out...
I love fallout. But the nuka world DLC bottling plant broke my main save and its unrepairable. I would need to play my save back PERFECTLY to regain my progress. I gave up years ago. I was so close to destroying all of my settlements too. Only thing wrong with fallout 4 is the bottling plant glitch. I tried everything. Mine is unfixable
For PC press ò on the keyboard and type tcl and ò again, you can now walk through the glass and take the armor. When you leave make sure you press ò again on the keyboard write tcl and press ò again, now you are good to go👌
Hmm, maybe I missed out on this armour by deciding to eliminate every single raider in nukaworld before doing any missions. It was just a nanosecond decision that told me no raiders should live and I should deal with no raiders or ever work with them. Don't regret it, just wish I could have gotten this armour.

this used to work on the PS4 console version until 5-6 months after you posted when they patched in out on PS4/Xbox So now I just use cheat room to collect the cores and when I go I'll have them ready
I saw vids on a glitch on how to do this, how to get the star core at the tower without turning on the main power, and I couldn’t do any of it so I just did the quest
This isn’t the quickest way to do it, you can simply glitch yourself trough the glass by exiting a power armor, get into the quantum armor and use fast travel to get out

If you're on pc just type tcl into the console, it's basically a noclip. Fly right through the wall get in the armour walk back out and type tcl in console again.
There are several locations where the Star Cores will respawn, even though you've already picked it up. I believe the dumping ground being one of those places.
Go 3rd person Walk up to a surface and face it Exit the power armour while holding look left (for example on PlayStation I press X to exit while holding my right stick to the left) Spam the enter power armour button while the exit animation plays (while still holding left) Hey presto you’ve broke the game just walk forward

@@stuartpbates You can get the last star core after "Power Play". After you secure the 5 territories in the park, and 3 more in the Commonwealth, it will trigger. Get the power plant running and an elevator in Star Control will now work. Alternately, if you grab the one in the junk yard before doing the hubologist quest, another will respawn during that quest, which is how I've always done it.
To get the 35th star core without completing the power play quest just kill all the raiders there and the door will be unlocked. Thanks Bethesda for doing that.

An even better way would be to come wearing a bare power armor frame, do the glitch, grab all the parts, equip them, glitch yourself out, and move on.
Great alternative in case you just get tired of trying to find all of them or if your game is bugged.
Somehow there was a glitch in my game where I found the last core to open that panel.

Who quits playing Fallout after losing a single save? Gamebreaking glitches and broken save files are like a feature of this IP.

I'm guessing it's the glitch where the game doesn't register the Mirelurks being taken out.

If you get the first out and then get into the second one could you fast travel since your not in a building or outside that should allow fast travel

Far harbor is better, never completly finished nuka world as alot of the quests are super annoying fetch quests
why save the power armor frame. can't you just remove all the power armor parts?

Same stats as any X-01 with Mark V upgrade, just has the unique paint and Quantum logo.

Honestly wasnt too bad collecting star cores, didn't really like the nuka power armor too much or power armor in general.
In my experience, this doesn't work on consoles, I may be wrong, but I've tried plenty of times and I still can't get it
