Creation club madness. Glad to see that they still update the game. I’m still fairly new to fallout, having only played 4 and a tiny bit of new vagas. Although I have 260 hours on four which isn’t a lot but I don’t think that’s something to scoff at for me I think.

I think the reason why the railroad suit is 'boring' (though I personally like it) is because it's kinda showing how the railroad really is. Secretive, with only that small lantern surrounded by black. I think it's kinda neat.

Well the T45, T51, T60 were pre-war, which they saw battle in Alaska hence why those are only winter paint.

T-60 wasn't actually deployed in Alaska, it was developed after the liberation and used in domestic locations. It still makes sense though. Winterized X-01 wouldn't make much sense.

Yeah, but maybe after the Reclamation the U.S Government shipped some T-60's over there as well. I don't think they'd leave Alaska "unprotected" after that whole deal with the Chinese.
aktually, the X-O1 was made pre war. In Nuka World theres the Quantum set that is laced in Strontium-90, it was given to them by the military to paint it in the Quantum (something they had been doing a lot to see what the effects of Strontium-90) and there are many sets of X-O1 scattered around the Wasteland due to the amount of military targets in the Boston area, they wanted to reinforce such a prime target with the most advance gear they had. Although yes to be fair they weren't available for Anchorage ops but regardless your "pre-war" statement is technically incorrect as it did exist pre-war.

Surprised you didn’t mention Elder Maxson’s suit that you can only get if you kill him in battle when you side with the Institute, it has a unique paint job.
Hi Oxhorn. I don't know if you'll read this or not, but this is not you're typical comment. I'm just passed 40, so pretty "old" to watch a game channel. 2 years ago you never would have found me watching this. 2 years ago I was a normal father, with a dog, wife, and 2 kids. 2 years ago my daughter, 10 years old, got agressive leukaemia, which can be deadly. It almost was, we spent about 4 months to and from the hospital. Everything went well in the end, but she has a 50/50 chance of this returning. Nothing in life can compare you for the chance of losing your child, I found out. 1 year ago my wife got an appendix infection, and was at the hospital 2 weeks before surgery. Unfortunately, the surgeon screwed up some muscle tendons in her hip while removing the appendix, so she's can't stand up on her own now, we have to train to get her muscles moving again. Now, you think, why are he telling me this sob story? Because when I'm down, when I'm bored of my wife watching the Norwegian version of American Idol or So you think you can dance, I pick up my PC. And after playing FO4 (i'm a big Bethesda-fan) since the beginning, I finally found the channel that caught my attention. The channel without a facecam of a 16 year old, trying to be funny every 30 seconds. So thank you, Oxhorn. You're channel makes me forget my own problems in life, if only just for 25 precious minutes. Even if you are a bit obssessed with mods! I really hope to see you take on Skyrim when Winter is Coming! Cheers from a fellow family man :)

Oxhorn There's museums all over the world that display uniforms and the like from defeated enemies. Displaying power armor from your defeated enemies is a good idea in my opinion. It could be considered educational for the visitors to your museum.
Imagine a sign next to the display of Institute power armor: "This armor is from a group known as the Institute. The Institute believed..." etc. This would be just like in real museums where a brief synopsis of the item on display and its history is given.
One more paint job from the BOS that can drop, but only on one set, is the Elder(BOS VII) paintjob. I'd say if you were gonna show the BOS Knight, Paladin, and Sentinel paints, you should have shown the Elder and Institute power armors as well in that quick little scene.
@@oxhorn I know this three years old, but for the pane of windows that overlap, set the center windows first, then snap the two side windows, it'll still overlap, but with a little effort it will overlap evenly.
Or, you've got a million + subs now. Bet some modder somewhere can make a window that snaps to the long side, and triangle floors with the correct texture. 👍

The Place Anywhere mod includes a scaling option, so you could scale up a display case large enough to actually go inside of. However, while your character can fit in them, settlers and companions refuse to enter them.
I tried to jail Marcy Long in one. Didn't work. Put her in a giant dog house instead.

Not bad if you don't mind having them stolen. Its a bit like leaving your car outside with the keys in and the motor running! I did it once at the Atom Cats Garage and a raider stole it during an attack, while I was in the workshop out the back.
I learned the hard way during my first play through that settlers will jump in them and not give it back. Killing them to get the armor back piss off the settlement and you loose the power armor frame and will have to buy a new one.

So, in all your time, what's your favorite weapons? Really think you should consider a video on that, since you have collected the entitre Commonwealth by now, and you're videos are excellent. Peculiar enough, I made a video on my other nick of the lore around Peter's Experiments the day before you released yours. So, you have been an inspiration, Sir!
Tomskalle I dont want to answer for Oxhorn, But I can't help but recommend the Gatling Laser, The Deliverer, Submachine gun, and Gauss rifle. For a Melee build, A bat. All of these have modifications that make them great, or even greater or ones that are already good some of the best. Gatling Lasers are more for power armor users, but you dont need to. The easiest way and earliest way to get it is by joining the Brotherhood or killing a member that has it. It is easily better than the minigun, but stick to mingun if you dont have lots of Cores. Gauss rifles drop at higher levels and also can be bought at higher levels, great for any build, especially snipers, Sub machine gun can be easy to get, Do the silver shroud quest, or just do the main quests and get it from Malone or one of his men for multiple builds, The Deliverer is aquired by joining the Railroad (i don't remeber exactly how) is great for stealth builds, but can be used for any.

No, the Railroad and BoS never get along. Nomatter who you side with, one of them must die. Only the Minutemen can get along with all other factions.

Siding with the institute grants the most unique sets of power armor as it’s the only way to get the elder power armor after killing maxim at the airport. You can also get the sentinel power armor randomly off of brotherhood patrols alongside the other ranks of power armor.

um...I do believe that it was the Enclave who developed the X-01 power armor after the great war...actually the "remnants" of the military that went on to become the Enclave but in either case after the war...
Eugene Tess Nope, Nuka World changed the lore. X-01 is a pre-war prototype power armor, Enclave built upon it after the war.

Would've been cooler if you had done it like a real museum where there's like 3-4 armors in each room and you go from room to room and look at them and expecially if you had added some history background stuff on a sign next to each armor.
Just something I want to add, the BOS actually has 5 paints that are obtainable in game, going as follows:
1. BOS Knight
2. BOS Paladin
3. BOS Sentinel
4. BOS Knight Sergeant
5. BOS Knight-Captain (Far Harbor)
At first I actively sought power armor, then as I found power armor just lying around I began to simply run naked into the apocalypse so when i found Armor I could get in and come to home base.
Many a time ive found a better armour than I had, so I shot the armour to make the carry weight 0 and restored it later.
Same. at lvl 106 I ran into Revere Sat Array with NO DAMN ARMOUR and killed them all before needing a single Stimpak

By the way 13:18 the reason is because those were the only suits remotely expecting use in Anchorage, the X-01 was post-war and as such did not need to be winterised

I do like the museum because this i think is the first video of Fallout 4 that someone has taken the time to make this (also Thanks for the heads up about the FPS because i was going to make one myself but i dont think that's a good idea seeing that normally i get 7-15fps so i'll just leave them in the Castle Basement)
Love this video. I recently hit level 160 by grinding the game. No xp glitches or exploits. I have 24 fully kitted/matching suits. 6 X-02, 3 hellfires, 5 T60, 4 X-01 (still need to get the quantum from nuka world), 2 T45, 2 T51, The Overboss, 1 raider pwr2 (I've got enough raider armor pieces for several more fully kitted raider frames but they will stay in my settlement workshop because I personally dont like the raider armor). There are dozens of other mismatched pieces as well that will stay in my workshop until the sets are completed.
I also downloaded a mod that let's you build an exoskeleton that fits over a jumpsuit. You can then equip the exoskeleton with miniature pieces of T51 armor that functions like normal armor. The entire ensemble can be worn under actual power armor. I like to put that on a manikin display next to my actual T-51. I renamed it The Little Brother.

I got a Power Armor quick equip mod that allows you to equip your power armor automatically whenever you are out of it, regardless of where you or the power armor is at. So I did a Power Rangers / Lady Luck playthrough using the Pink Power Armor paint and would tell myself its morphin time when ever combat got intense and the animation is that of the Institute teleportation, so a flash of lighting rains down and now your in the last power armor you last entered.
to put an explanation over the interior wall wearing, you could say it was once a concrete penthouse blasted apart by the bonbs on the side with sindows, and rebuilt as a museum 200 years later. that really makes the wearing make more sense.. ish

I don't understand why a "Museum " couldn't have every set of power armor. A museum is basically a building dedicated to the history of something. The BOS and the Institute did exist in the story. So why not?

I know the Power Armor beeps when you only have one fusion core and it runs out of power, you slow down and an annoying red light keeps beeping until you exit the Power Armor. However, I just now found that Power Armor, sort of, has a weight limit. Sort of 'cause one can still pick up stuff and carry it after the weight limit has been reached but you walk real slow (at full AP) and your stuff seems to be missing (though it's technically still there) anyway...the limit is 30,000 lbs or whatever.
I found that interesting.
I don't do Caravan lines (adds to your settlements being attacked more often) so when I go build a settlement, I carry it all with me.
If you side with the institute you can get knight commander power armor paint (tier 3) and elder armor paint (tier 7) but will forgo the sentinel paint job (tier 6). The two are available on the institute's main quest line of taking down the brotherhood of steel. Tier 3 is found on Gavil and Tier 7 is found on Maxon.
my lighthouse since its near the water, frequently has issues with Mirelurks, etc. So I turned the edge of the waterfront / pier into a generator station with floodlights and plenty of turrets, while the top of the actual lighthouse has turrets along with a couple workshops. I put generators everywhere just to make sure I had plenty of extra power for items, along with a terminal for turret diagnostics :)
Years late but, you can craft tesla coil power armor when choosing what mod or "attachment" such as hud sensor, jet pack, etc
There should be a museum so then right after the war it got raided but the power armor still there would be parts and power that has fallen off the shelved and then “press E to pull up power armor” for Xbox “press A to pull up the power armor”
I think you don’t need a magazine to learn how to winterize power armor because the sole survivor served in the battle of anchorage where winterized power armor was very prominent int the field.

Just started playing FO4 this year. Really enjoying the armor element of the game. Being an action figure collector my whole life, it feels like I’m doing that in the game.
I made a museum similar to this one, it's the Museum of the sole survivor all his accomplishments from leaving the vault to the ending of the game.
The settlement customization is really special in fallout 4 to me because I’ve spent so much time building cool settlements and had a ton of fun, but there are a lot of weird quirks and stuff and I just can’t wait to see how they improve it in fallout 5
Whenever I watch his settlement videos I look at his builds they're like all modern and fancy and then I look at mine and it's a square shack and I'm like well I tried.

In my railroad playthrough, I walked around the commonwealth pick pocketing fusion cores off BOS soldiers and then looting their power armor frames and all. I have an entire stolen power armor wing in my museum.
