McLaren and Lambo have the least reliable cars in GT3 and have been so for a few years. Pfaff and the Iron Dames learned the hard way and they made the switch from very reliable Porsches.
McLaren is just terrible at supporting teams outside of the UK for some reason. The only reason Inception Racing lasted as long as it did with the brand was because it had support from Optimum motorsport, a UK based McLaren team.
As a Canadian. Local to a lot of their dealerships, they are a massive fan favourite and something we can all cheer for. They have american owners now I really look forward to their 2025 campaign but would love to see them back in a Porsche. I wish you had touched on the reason the left porsche
I wasn’t wholly sure as to why the switch was made. It’s not until I checked the comments did I remember the issue the Porsche teams were having with BOP in 2023.
The McLaren looks so good in red, I hate when car manufacturers force colors on their customers cars. hopefully Lamborghini lets pfaff keep their plaid livery
I always wondered why they left Porsche for McLaren. Did AO racing knock them down a tier? Did they want that McLaren marketing synergy? Did they want to be top priority for a manufacture? Maybe a mix of all three.
They left because the BOP of the Porsche in 2023 was absolute garbage. Porsche had debuted their new 911 GT3 R (992) varient, and since it was a new car, there was hardly any data on it. So, IMSA didn't give the 992 a good balance of performance compared to the other cars. As a result, Pfaff went from winning 5 races and the GTD Pro title in 2022 to only 1 win and finishing 7th in GTD Pro. I'm not entirely sure if Pfaff was mad at Porsche, or that they just thought that it was a good time to switch manufacturers
@@fqeagles21how is it courageous? The Lamborghini has proven itself well in endurance racing even taking a win in Petit Le Mans last year. The unlucky Iron Dames team are not representative of the Lamborghini’s capabilities.
The 720 looks good and occasionally is even quick, but if the race lasts more than 4 hours it tends to just collapse.

In ACC and iRacing the Mclaren is one of the most popular cars too, unfortunate that it’s bad irl

Oh boy what a great day for a 720s evo fan.
😢
New era of Pfaffery!
When you switch from one of the most reliable GT3 cars to one of the least, these sorts of results tend to occur.
Good interesting coverage. The Mclaren doesn't seem to be that popular a choice for teams. It's good to find out what's happening
So Pfaff Motorsports ended up faffing around in the midfield, popping up with a couple of podiums. Ouch!
That's what you get when switching from a proper race car to a reliability problem on wheels
1:44 first time I notice NART logo on Risi...
Sad to see McLaren leave IMSA 😢 but not really their fault in this occasion just really bad luck
Like many have said, McLaren is not a winning brand. I'd expect a slight improvement in results with Lamborghini. But, not massive improvement
Thinking back. Pfaff has prototype aspirations and maybe Lamborghini could be their gateway to that
Please god, I need a plaid SC63
I guess after or alongside Riley
If the support from McLaren was bad, Lamborghini is even worse.

The iRacing curse strikes once again
More GT content please
You can say that season was a bunch of dumbPfaffery. Hopefully the Pfafforghini next year will bring more success.
Nice video
banger
I love the video but I dont like the background music, too repetitive
my fault biggest bro. I’ll try better next time
It was good tho
Maybe add one or two similar tracks to change to when you change to the next main discussion topic. I like the music though, it's good
Inb4 Pfaff Nissan GT-R GT3 in IMSA even then it's probably will have less bad lucks than Pfaff Mclaren
they chose Lambo, courageous, we'll see
@@fqeagles21 Just don't inherit more bad lucks from Iron Dames!
Pfaff ran Nissans?

@Jules-oc3pv i know but it's still more risky that Choosing let's say Ferrari or Corvette
