I'm late but she's explaining how sometimes Danes make a sound by stopping the word there. Like in the word "det". You don't actually pronounce the t, but can give the illusion of a t sound by abruptly stopping the word where it should be pronounced.
God I will never make the stød correctly. At first I was like, danish people swallow vowels and as a french, I swallow vowels too. So it will be an easy language for me to learn. Now I'm stuck with these pronunciations nuances that i almost cannot hear and don't know how to make... 😅
Hej Eirik. Det kan du have ret i :). Videoen er henvendt til udlændinge, der lærer dansk, så vi har forsøgt at være pædagogiske, og så må man ind imellem klippe en tå. vh Susanne, Studieskolen
This video made me finally get what stød is supposed to sound like
Thank you for your comment! It makes us SO happy to hear when our videos help someone 🥰 Kind regards, Sofie, Studieskolen

Just keep on trying and one day ... ❤️
To make things even more complicated they put white letters on a white background. I still love this "%$#" language especially when spoken by ladies.
stød is the difference between ت and ط
Det er ikke støt på bokstaver, siden støt er et muntlig fenomen og bokstaver er et skriftlig fenomen; det er støt på lyder. ;)
