Hi again! I have one other tip that I'd like to suggest doing before leaving on a cruise (or any trip for that matter!). It adds to the list of chores you have to do before leaving but I find it's well worth it - the morning you leave, strip your bed and make it up with fresh sheets! When you come home, there's nothing like getting in to a comfy bed that feels like you're still on your trip!
I always have a housekeeper come in and clean the day I leave out for my vacation. She cleans & I pack. I put the cost into my vacation budget. It's so worth it.
I have a tip to add. I am 7 days from sailing and decided to reprice my rental car this morning and it was $50.15 less than when I booked 3 months ago. I am only 3 hours from port but decided to rent a car because I discovered it was around the same price as parking at the port. It is now less than I would have paid to park for the week, no wear/tear on my car, and the rental gets better gas mileage.
I find the same thing too. I always book everything about 6 months out, car, hotel...then about 1 week before (or before cancellation deadline) I reverify all my pricing and it is usually dropped quite a bit. Enjoy your cruise!
That is a fabulous tip! I always check my cruise pricing (just got a nice OBC for both our upcoming cruises, plus a FCC for one of them because of the KidsSaleFreeDeal), but had not thought of repricing our rental. Thank you for the tip!
My idea of “formal wear” for travel these days is a beautifully cut pair of black jersey pants with a sparkly silver top in a non-wrinkle knit fabric. I have a plain black top in the same jersey as the pants if I want a bit of variety - just dress it up with a long statement necklace or fancy earrings. (The jewellery looks great, but is just inexpensive costume stuff that wouldn’t tempt a thief or be a great loss if it did vanish.) A bright, light-weight cashmere wrap can be used for warmth or added interest, and is useful as a scarf for cooler, windy days. They all unroll out of their packing cube ready to put on and go. The pants double as smart casual daywear, and the black top works well under my go-to blazer for any day time activity. I gave up on heels years ago, so my “evening shoes” are black suede ballet flats with clip on diamanté buckles that can be removed for daywear. The black jersey is machine washable, and the sparkly silver can be hand-washed. Even the cashmere wrap can be hand washed carefully. I can get as many different looks as I could possible need from these few entirely fuss-free items. (If you aren’t a pants-in-the-evening type of lady, a black jersey skirt would work just as well for these looks.)
Leaving on our cruise in 6 days to Cabo. Already packed & have everything pressed. Definitely packing dresses & my husbands suit last. Getting a pedicure & manicure along with my self tanning tomorrow. Downloaded a few games & movies on my iPad. This will be our 13th cruise, so hopefully we have some idea of what to expect, however decided I’ve to go a little more casual. Great idea is leaving my house clean, floors, dust furniture, take out the trash & putting clean sheets on the bed & don’t forget to clean out the coffee pot! Going with several girlfriends from high school, class of 1980 rules…like totally for sure. I’m 60 btw!
I actually start "packing" 2 months in advance by just keeping all of my bought clothing and items together in my closet.. I osck my clothing and most items fully in my suit case about 3 weeks before the cruise.. by the time I'm a day or 2 away from embarkation day I'm only packing my toiletries that I use daily. I'm a huge over planner lol
Not last minute tip - but forget about his and her luggage (as in don't do individual bags) mix the content between the two (if a couple) so you each have contents and if one bag is lost or delayed, you still have enough items to carry you over.
Thanks to everyone for their tips. I keep a "travel to-do" checklist in my Notes app on my phone. Flip the breaker to our well pump (even if a pipe springs a leak we won't have a flood), water heater adjusted, house temp adjusted, water plants, check the refrigerator, and put a travel alert on the credit cards. Safe travels to all!!
One tip for packing the things you don't use often and keeping things organized in one location: we use a wheeled three-drawer storage unit that we keep things we want to bring on our cruise, but don't use often. For example: our cruise backpacks, snorkel gear, water shoes, etc. If we don't use it every day or often, it goes in the storage unit. We also put our 'travel folder' in the unit. This is a folder that contains all of our travel paperwork, like flight, car & cruise information. This way everyone knows where the travel info is located and can easily check on any missing items. We've used this system for several years and it's very helpful.
I do similar too. I keep lingerie , hosiery , nightwear and swimwear separate and keep just for cruising. I keep it altogether with other cruise related essentials and is so quick to pull together when I am ready to pack.
Something that is overlooked, but important. Check all appointments you may have. We had at least two doctor appointments that were scheduled during cruise week and totally forgot about them. Thankfully, we were not charged for missing them, as we were on vacation. But sometimes we make appointments way in advance and forget about them. This would be especially helpful for those who make last minute cruise plans. Some appointments could cost you dearly if you miss them or don't reschedule. Also, try not to schedule an appointment the day before or the day after the cruise, in case something happens.
Llana, Tip you may want to try for tioletries that you put in checked bags. Take off screw lid and put a small piece of "Press & Seal", (be sure & cover the screw top of bottle) then screw your lid on. If it is a spray bottle, pierce a small hole in the center of the Press & Seal & thread your screw top tube through it. Then to be extra cautious I put items in double zip lock bags & make sure they are cushioned in my bag. Hope this helps.
Be sure your “Hold the mail” form is submitted and you have someone checking your mail box and front door. Double check you have all your documents. We freeze a small tub of water in the freezer and place a penny on the ice. If the penny is still on top when we get home, that means no long power outage and the food is good. If it is inside the ice then that means the power went out and your food in the freezer may be bad now. Double check all window and door locks. Put timers on lights and radios to make it look like someone is home.
I love this idea about the penny on the ice! It may be a bit over the top, but as my mom always said, it's better to be safe than sorry. I will use that in the future. Thanks for the idea!
Add to the home tips: stop mail and have friend or neighbor check house often for any packages delivered or flyers at front door. Also stage lamps to turn off and on in the house.
Love your videos. One thing I always do when leaving the house for my cruise is either set the heat down to a lower setting or set the A/C up. No since heating or cooling the house for a week if nobody will be there.
Totally random but I usually hire a cleaning service the day before we leave. I want to make sure the house is clean before I leave. That way when I get home I come home to a clean house. One less thing to worry about.
This may be just a little over the top, but it's easy enough. Raise the bar in the ice maker(s) so they don't make new ice while you're gone. If there happens to be a boil order while you are gone (it happens quite a bit here,) then you won't unknowingly come home to an ice bin full of potentially contaminated/unsafe ice. Also, unplug the coffee pot, etc. Love this community. Thanks for all the great ideas and tips!
Hello Llana!! Thanks, as always, for keeping us "newbies" on track for our first cruise!! You are always so help and cheerful too. I've learned a ton of tips, facts and hints from your videos. I'm feeling very prepared
Unplug unnecessary lights and the microwave. In case of storms while you are gone. Also turn back the furnace and water heater. We were pleasantly surprised to see the difference in the bills when we did this.
Here are a couple more: 1. Call your credit card companies to inform them you will be using your cards abroad (if traveling internationally). 2. Call your phone service provider to arrange for any special voice/data service you will need (especially for countries abroad). 3. Visit the bank to pick up any important docs that you keep in a safe deposit box (eg. passports, Global Entry cards). While there, you can pick up some small bills!
Great advice, but with my credit card company, they do not need me to inform them I’m going abroad. What they do is text me and/or email me to let me know that my card has been used in a foreign country and I respond with a yes or no that it’s me. Also, as a note on your item number three global entry is no longer a card, but is part of your passport. I was just at TSA and had my global entry renewed and they no longer issued cards, but take your passport and encrypt it with your global entry .
Yes to the packing video! Always can learn a new trick. I start gathering possible items and throw in suitcase the day i book the vacation, then do an actual final laundry and pack a few days prior to leaving. What a great idea to premake a couple of post cruise meals! Leave all luggage by front door night before leave. My husband left a bag in closet one time and didnt notice until plane was taxiing. 😂
I’m leaving in 3wks on my first ever cruise and this is what I’ve been doing. Just putting everything into my suitcase as I get it and I’ll start going through and organize here soon.
Another tip for parents leaving kids behind (at least in the US) is to get an authorization document from the pediatrician that gives grandma or the babysitter the right to make medical decisions in your absence.
Hi Ilana, we have a cruise coming up and planning ahead is key to hopefully not forgetting what's important to bring along on the cruise and enjoying a sweet vacation. I've been watching your videos and they have been very helpful and full of good ideas and information. I have a list going and will start filling up the basket and checking off the list. One important thing I always do is lower the water heater since we are not going to be home and not have the water heater running more than needed. We also unplug all unnecessary appliances, lamps, candle warmers.
Newbie Cruiser here, I’m going on my 1st cruise in 6 days! And must say thanks for all of the awesome content to help us get prepared and ready. You’re truly playing a major role for all of us 😎☀️🛳
I have two more tips. First, notify your bank or credit card company that you will be out of town. I have regretted not doing this a few times. Also, I always order water to be delivered to my stateroom ahead of time. Saves money and it so handy to have right there.
I bought the medication organizer and got printed labels of my medications and stapled them together and put them in a ziplock with the pill organizer, just in case the info was needed. Easy transport, space saver, and ready for an emergency if need be. 😊
I am now using the Ultimate cruise Planner for my 6th cruise. Each time, I only print the pages I need. For example, we have no children traveling with us, so do not need those pages. We live one hour from Fort Lauderdale, so for those cruisers, we do not need pages about hotel or air travel pages. Love it!
clean house, adjust the thermostat, change sheets and make bed, and make sure you lock all your doors and windows. plus turn on your house alarm system if you have one
My friend had a grocery delivery to home shortly after she got home. She is a master at planning. That didn’t work for my sister in law. She froze her milk. It worked great!
A video on what to pack to the Bahamas would be amazing! I will be going on a cruise in June. Also some tips on how to pack your bags so that you don't have to carry as much or over pack. I know that I will definitely overpack for myself
Another way to prevent wrinkles is to use tissue paper. There are great videos about this and it does work. I used tissue paper for my work clothing going to Europe and my clothing came out looking wonderful.
I have a suggestion for your next Bahamas packing video. Along with showing us what to pack, could you also show us how you actually pack. I am a visual learner, and also first time cruiser, and it would help me a lot to see how you place items into your bags. I know there are many "pack with me" videos, but I really enjoy how you explain things: simple, informative and straight to the point! 😁
Yes, please! Applies to any cruise. A three-day, five-day and seven-day would be really helpful. Any longer than that, you would have a ton of stuff, no doubt.
Thank you gor all your wonderful, informative videos. I'll be going on my first cruise in October and have learned so much from you. Thanks to you, I will now be ready to go on this trip.
While out of town, we are able to fill out an online form for the police department to check our home. It is a free service they offer. We stop our mail from being delivered and request to pick up from post office on return home
I've been watching a bunch of your cruise videos lately. I think that you give pretty sound tips and advice. We've been on 3 cruises so far, with the next one not scheduled until March 2024. The luggage tag holders work great for us. I print out the tags a few days before our cruise and put them in the holders. At the hotel the night before the cruise we easily put the tags on all of our bags. No need for tape or staples. I keep a 3 ring soft cover notebook with all the essential information that I may need in it. Plane tickets, cruise contract and port info. Shuttle, hotel and excursion details, and the confirmation numbers, plus important phone numbers just in case I can't pull the info up on my phone. The notebook stays with me in my daypack until we get into our cruise ship cabin. We tend to start packing about two weeks before our cruise. We set two tables up in the Livingroom where we put our suitcases to pack. I put on my list exactly what is in each suitcase so I can easily find any item should I need it before our cruise. And I often do.
Hi there fellow Canadian. It always makes my day to watch a new vlog from you and to learn something new or to be reminded of must-do's. I'm braving a solo Alaskan cruise in September as a power wheelchair user, which will require pre-cruise steps to be taken that you likely haven't covered yet since those in my position aren't brave (dumb) enough to give it a go. Thank you for covering everything else so fully though. I'll be re-watching all of your pre-cruise must do's before my adventure. Thanks, as always for such helpful and entertaining videos.
Nice to meet you Kris! Good for you for taking this solo cruise. You sound like a very independent and determined person. Enjoy it and please let me know how it goes :)
@@LifeWellCruised We "met" before when you kindly commented on my comment and said I should write your bio. I don't know how to let you know how my cruise went but some of my present knowledge and what I learn from the cruise sailing solo in my power chair may help you with a future vlog. Let me know how to contact you after the cruise if you wish. I'd be glad to. Thanks Ilana.
Hi Ilana! Enjoying all your videos, thank you! Have learned so much from them - its been a while since we cruised - and excited to be embarking on our Princess cruise in July. One cruise tip - we've decided as a precaution prior to embarkation to self isolate for 5 days before doing our C19 PCR test to ensure we don't test positive just before the cruise - how disappointing that would be!
I agree. This is an awesome idea. Unfortunately we are unable to do that. Super nervous about that particular link of our trip. I work in the medical field therefore we are still required to mask at work. My one TRUE worry is that our nephew is getting married the Sunday prior to our departure. My husband and I have agreed to go ONLY to the ceremony and wear our mask the entire time. One day this seems so selfish of me but then my Spirit tells me that I also need a vacation! Thqnjs Christine for this great tip!
One of the final things we pack is our Apple AirTags. We had a wayward bag that took three weeks to get back. The map displayed the location. That helped the be port find our bag. We had taken it to the airport (took a photo like you said) and didn’t get it when we got to our home airport. Crazy but the Tag saved us $$$$
All of your video's have been excellent for anyone who is cruising. I have been a number of crusises, you have given me tips I didn't even think about. Couple of tips. 1.Load CC on website for Uber or Lift. 2. If using a debit card make sure there is plenty of money in bank account. 3. Contact CC company to advise will leaving on vacation, plue where going. 4. Photograph pictures of cloths taking on cruise 5. Make sure cloths packing have just come back from the clearners 6.Take wine & champagne stoppers 7. Make sure you have a pet sitter booked in advance. I am cruising on RSSC Navigator October 12th the Fall Foliage cruise, RSSC does not have an app. Any thing to do prior has to be taken care of on their website. Again your video's and tips are the best.
I made a note to stop my Grndfather clock and note the time I stopped it so I will know what time to set it on when I return; otherwise, if I let it run down, I won't know if it stopped morning or night and the chimes may not be correct when I wond it up. Also, it important to have your lights on a timer - and we leave a light on in the house so it is not completely dark. Make sure you have your itinerary and that you sent it to your family members.
I love your videos. I can't remember if you mentioned this before. Depending on where you are going, you may need to get specialized sunscreen. Some ports say you have to use coral safe sunscreen because regular sunblock/screen is killing the coral and other marine life in the area. I always pack my regular stuff for on board the ship and have the specialized sunscreen for when we arrive at port. Some places will watch to see what sunscreen you are applying because in addition to taking care of the environment, their tourism is based upon people who snorkel or scuba and if the coral dies off and the marine life that depends on the coral then dies off and so on, there will be nothing for the tourists to see.
I will be cruising in a little less than 2 weeks! I am dealing with some stomach issues that are normal for me though. I went to the doctor today and she told me what I needed to do. She said I should be able to go on the cruise and enjoy my time! I am overly excited for this amazing trip I will be taking! I have watched your videos ever since the day I found out about the cruise. You have given some excellent tips and recommendations! I am thankful that I had you to help with my packing, clothing items, etc. I am not finished watching your videos and I will be even while driving down to the cruise port itself!
I hope you have a wonderful cruise! A lot of people find that the relaxing and enjoyment while cruising actually has some helpful effect on some issues. I hope this is the case for you :)
As well as using packing cubes and taking some ziplock bags, various sized ziplock bags are great for rounding up and keeping smaller items together. Even think pencil cases, clip pouches etc from dollar stores and around your home.
Just a small “Tip.” I get a pack of Two Dollar bills from the bank and give them out as tips for the porters, room stewards and any others who should receive a gratuity. Why $2.00 bills? Well they are uncommon and if that person you tip sees you again, they will remember you. Also, when a buck is not enough, well, there you have it. They are available at larger banks in sleeves of 100.
If you are driving to a new destination for embarkation (includes airport), do a dry run in daylight to familiarize yourself with where you have to go.
If you drive to the port secure if you need parking reservations check the hotel if stay there they will let you park for free and take you to the port
Definitely print off docs before departure AND inspect them. We’re 3 weeks out, and just discovered our pre-cruise extension was accidentally cancelled by a cruise agent when a post cruise transfer was added. They are working to resolve it. Lucky we discovered it now.
Great information! I love packing cubes. They are a game changer! I take the cubes out and put them on the shelves in the closet. We work right out of the cubes, and on the last day, I zip them up and repack in minutes.
My tip is for any trip and it is right before you leave. Shut off your water. My friend married to a plumber taught me this. You never know when a leak could spring up, even if your hot water tank leaks only the water in there will leak out instead of a week's worth of running water! I also turn my hot water tank to low. No need to pay for a week's worth of gas when you're not home. Cheers!
Really enjoying your videos and have gleaned a lot of important info. However everything seems to be aligned with embarking from your home country. For those who have to fly to the port there are other considerations one being a seperate garment bag isn’t an option.
62 days out from My cruise on Symphony of the Seas.. This video was very helpful. Especially since I've already had a nightmare about missing my cruise ship at the port and forgetting to take out Covid test.🥴 Scariest dream ever!😨
Thank you- My additional: Get stuff to the person taking care of pet/house, turn in stop mail, call credit card people about travel plans, look at bills that are going to come due while gone and figure out how how I will handle those, get some money from the bank.
we do the money exchange a couple of months in advance , and try to get low notes if we buy souvenirs, it is okay for us if we go to places which take Euros, us Dollar
GET SOME REST BEFORE YOUR CRUISE. LMAO😂 I'm definitely staying in Sleep Mode the week before the Cruise, but when I board the ship I'm only sleeping from 2:00am - 6:00am. 😴
I'm going on a Celebrity Charter Cruise -- a Smooth Jazz Cruise and pre-testing is not required if you have been vaccinated. If not, you must be tested at the port for $85.00.
Great video! I always bring my own toiletries, esp. shampoo, conditioner & moisturizer! As far as games, my hubby & I always bring our backgammon game (yes from the 70s lol) and we get so many positive comments from passengers saying "wow, never thought of that"! I also prefer to bring shelf stable milk for my coffee if there's no "Cafe el Bachio" 😉
Sooooo looking forward to when C19 testing is no longer required . Also we always put an extra luggage tag inside our suite case just in case the tag falls off . They will still be able to find us 😎
@@yvettesmith6704 Be prepared to get one then, IF things change, it will be like a bonus. We have been told at the hospital that testing for travel will continue at least through 2022 year end. One thing we can say about Covid, things change frequently. That said, I am like you and looking forward to the day when testing to travel will be a thing of the past.
I love all your videos. Going on our first cruise ever in May. I’ve traveled all over but never cruised and my son works for American Cruise lines lol. Anyway I’m totally loving all your advice and tips. Thank you.
So helpful, as usual! The only thing I disagree with is leaving your itinerary & contact info with a caregiver if cruising without your kids - this is your chance to disappear off the map!! 😜😎🛳

I always do this too before a trip ! 100% agree it’s a must for me !
Agreed! My house is never cleaner than before I leave on a trip!
Totally agree. I clean the whole house, change the sheets and do laundry. Good feeling to come home not doing any household chores.

If there happens to be a boil order while you are gone (it happens quite a bit here,) then you won't unknowingly come home to an ice bin full of potentially contaminated/unsafe ice. Also, unplug the coffee pot, etc. Love this community. Thanks for all the great ideas and tips!
That's a great tip about ice maker and coffee pot. Unplug computer.
We do this as well. Our fridge stopped working and came home to a huge puddle on the floor from the ice maker!
Hello Llana!! Thanks, as always, for keeping us "newbies" on track for our first cruise!! You are always so help and cheerful too. I've learned a ton of tips, facts and hints from your videos. I'm feeling very prepared
I’m so glad!! Thanks for taking time to watch and comment:)
Me too!! First cruise next month. Hope you have 🤩 thanks Llana
Downy Wrinkle release spray is a must to bring on the cruise
Yes definitely 🙌
Unplug unnecessary lights and the microwave. In case of storms while you are gone. Also turn back the furnace and water heater. We were pleasantly surprised to see the difference in the bills when we did this.
Here are a couple more:
All good tips!!
@@judithgobyoxtoby5254 Interesting about GE! I guess I’ll find out in about two years.
Love your idea!! Omg those left behind bags 😂
My items are in a box but it's too small now. I think I'll move to a suitcases
Didn’t think of that 🤔
Thanks for mentioning this
Hi Ilana, we have a cruise coming up and planning ahead is key to hopefully not forgetting what's important to bring along on the cruise and enjoying a sweet vacation.
You’re truly playing a major role for all of us 😎☀️🛳
Dry cleaner bags between the clothes you don’t want to wrinkle…works! I do that all the time!
Hi Ilana! I'd love to see in your packing video how you pack a men's suit in a regular size suitcase to avoid wrinkles! Thanks!
Love it!
clean house, adjust the thermostat, change sheets and make bed, and make sure you lock all your doors and windows. plus turn on your house alarm system if you have one
check, check and check.....4 days till Bermuda. NCL all checked in.....First cruise, Thanks for your videos!
Awesome!! I’m trying to overpack less 😂
I would love information on packing for a Mediterranean cruise with emphasis on expected dress codes for excursions.
Figleaf & Toothbrush?
I love this channel for tips on cursing. We always do all our laundry and clean the house. It makes coming home easier and less stressful.
Another way to prevent wrinkles is to use tissue paper. There are great videos about this and it does work. I used tissue paper for my work clothing going to Europe and my clothing came out looking wonderful.
We also went on line and prepaid to park my truck at Dulles airport and printed out the ticket. Then they just scan you in and it's much faster.
And thank you so much from Kit and Donna Spraggins
One thing on our before we leave list is to turn off the ducted heating or air con so we don’t waste money and power!
I always do USPS HOLD MAIL on line for the days we're gone.
Your channel adds so much value. I haven’t cruised since 2014 or so and I have been having your videos just play back to back. Thanks!
I appreciate your suggestion! I can definitely try and do that or implement some of that into the video. Thanks for taking the time to comment :)
Same! I’m a visual learner too
😊
Yes, please! Applies to any cruise. A three-day, five-day and seven-day would be really helpful. Any longer than that, you would have a ton of stuff, no doubt.
Thank you gor all your wonderful, informative videos. I'll be going on my first cruise in October and have learned so much from you. Thanks to you, I will now be ready to go on this trip.
Thanks for sharing, everything has been so helpful. Only months to go 🎉🎉
While out of town, we are able to fill out an online form for the police department to check our home. It is a free service they offer. We stop our mail from being delivered and request to pick up from post office on return home
3 most important things. 1st use your cruise planner. 2nd use your cruise planner and 3rd is use your cruise planner!!!!
Love it!! Thanks so much Fred 😊😂
Got Mine! 😃
Love that you are following adventure and taking this cruise solo. I doubt you'll let anything negatively impact your experience. Have a great time.
@@kris7905 my apologies Kris :(. Feel free to email me if you like at lifewellcruised@gmail.com
@@keawarren Thank you for the kind words.
My dear you have seriously set the bar for cruisers! Love your Louis Vuitton bags❤ I wish I could find your cruise planner🌹
That’s a good idea. So hard these days for this, but if you can, why not?
Thanks!
Thank you!
Currently watching this on the day of
Yes please let us know what all you pack to go to the Bahamas 🌞
Great tip! I mention it on occasion, but probably not often enough. Thanks 😊
Thank you so much for creating that cruise planner! I'm going on my first cruise this year and it was exactly what I needed.
I’m so glad it is helpful! Thanks for your purchase and happy planning!
We unplug coffee pot in last minute/ morning check. We remember unplugging more than if we just turn it off.
Thanks to you my wife and I are so excited about our cruise, we are first time cruisers, so thank you so much for your help
hi. also mention putting a hold on your mail with the usps. thank you!
We're leaving I'm 3 weeks for Alaska and these tips are super helpful. I love your channel! 🇨🇦
Have an amazing cruise!! Thanks so much :)
Place an Air Tag (or other tracker) into each of your suitcases just in case they get lost!
If you are driving to a new destination for embarkation (includes airport), do a dry run in daylight to familiarize yourself with where you have to go.
Thanks for the video. It is very helpful. I just wanted to add not to forget to put a hold on your mail before you go on the cruise.
Love this!!
Check, and double check flight status if your flying somewhere to board.
Make sure you run the dishwasher the night before or after coffee in the am.
62 days out from My cruise on Symphony of the Seas.. This video was very helpful. Especially since I've already had a nightmare about missing my cruise ship at the port and forgetting to take out Covid test.🥴 Scariest dream ever!😨
Omg I hate those nightmares!! Lol it’s all going to be good
Thank you- My additional: Get stuff to the person taking care of pet/house, turn in stop mail, call credit card people about travel plans, look at bills that are going to come due while gone and figure out how how I will handle those, get some money from the bank.
Great adds!!
we do the money exchange a couple of months in advance , and try to get low notes if we buy souvenirs, it is okay for us if we go to places which take Euros, us Dollar
One year ago, still relevant 🎉
We are going to Bahamas may 8th out of Baltimore
GET SOME REST BEFORE YOUR CRUISE. LMAO😂 I'm definitely staying in Sleep Mode the week before the Cruise, but when I board the ship I'm only sleeping from 2:00am - 6:00am. 😴
Oh my!! 😬
Last cruise we did the muster drill while waiting in line
Awesome!! Good to know - thanks
I’d love to see a video of your packing. Thanks so much!
I'm going on a Celebrity Charter Cruise -- a Smooth Jazz Cruise and pre-testing is not required if you have been vaccinated. If not, you must be tested at the port for $85.00.
Stop mail, motion lights are on along w lamps set on timer. Leave a list of emergency things to remember taped on the door..
You did it Ilana ~ 150k CONGRATULATIONS‼️🎉👌🏻 @Life Well Cruised🙌🏻
Sooooo looking forward to when C19 testing is no longer required . Also we always put an extra luggage tag inside our suite case just in case the tag falls off . They will still be able to find us 😎
I always do that too!!
Cruising in August. I'm really hoping test won't be required.
So smart!!
We will on Celebrity Summit on June 12
A packing video would be very helpful. Loving your videos.
Great - it’s on this weeks agenda. Thanks so much for watching and for your feedback 😊
I would love to see a packing video on how you pack your suitcase
That’s great! I meant to last cruise but didn’t get a chance. We’re leaving soon on another cruise and this time it’s planned :)
Sunblock !! So important
California Linda shares to either place a mail hold on your mail or ask a family member or friend to pick it up during your vacation. It is also helpful to ask them to monitor your property for unsolicited handbills or newspapers.
Great idea!
Good reminders as always. Love your chanel! ❤
Put a hold on mail. Give house keys to friend or relative. Leave a light on and a TV or radio on. I like to leave a clean house.
Big advise: Bring a power strip! You will then have enough outlets :)
