That would be pretty cool but it would definitely remove a lot of the mystery from the character and I think mystery is one of the main factors for why Benedict Baker is so fascinating So if they added him as a survivor it probably wouldnt have as big of an impact kinda like how dream became uninteresting after he did his face reveal
maybe we will see Benedict Baker in one of the upcomming games. Maybe Project T or in Casting of Frank Stone (Not as person, more like, the protagonist talk about his Work)
You know, what if for the 10 Year Anniversary chapter in the next two years, they bring in Benedict Baker as a playable survivor? It would be such a perfect way of celebrating 10 years of the game, by bringing in a familiar name since the very beginning.
iirc he's journal entries are from 1896 right? It seems like he was simply a voice of guidance for new players, since he showed up when you first open the Bloodweb etc. Having said that, if that was the case, nothing really replaced him post-Curtain Call. You'd think it'd make sense to keep him around to explain if a new mechanics are introduced, like the ATC and anti-3 gen. The fact that there's nothing like that makes me believe that they went on a less-flavour-text route to explaining core mechanics of the game, which is a shame. So while I do hope they use the absence of him as a part of lore one day, logical part of me is saying he was omitted to stream line the gameplay experience.
Yeah i guess so, you're probably right. Though one thing i don't quite get is that in the entry from September 12th it says "i began my search in the summer of 1956" but his later entries are listed as being from 1896
My theory is that he is going to appear in proyect T, since he is "still surviving" and they didn't especially say it was in the dbd trials, maybe he is another part of the entity
Lovely, but what about text to speech during reading parts? You have a good voice mate, but modulation makes me uneasy... Or I'm just too drunk to process these informations ...
I like to imagine that before the original 4 survivors there were the people who appear in the perks available for everyone.
The original 4 is the starter main character, while the others before them was simply unfortunate
It's possible that these survivors still exist, we just haven't met them yet
or they're in the void
Ah yes, David King was secretly Benedict Baker the whole time.
shhhhh
we don't talk about that
Keep up your interesting and informative vids. They're top tier!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like them!
I really want Benedict Baker as a survivor
That would be pretty cool but

Nice to see you dabbling into lore as well!

I would honestly love to see that

@@sashko8448 oh yeah, that's true.
I feel like 1896 makes it cooler, putting him more in the past.

Project T looks sooo cool
Can't wait to try that out
That one survivor's name at the beginning 😭
