      You need to review the 35 prioritized health occupations in category-based Express Entry. You can also check PNP of your province. 2024 Caregiver Program will open for application in Jan 2024; up to 5500 applications.
      2,750 applications for the Home Child Care Provider Pilot
      2,750 applications for the Home Support Worker Pilot

    • @smwk2017
      @smwk2017 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Check your province's PNP streams for a pathway in accounting.
      Bookkeeper, accounting assistant, accounting technician, and accountants are not prioritized occupations in Express Entry. They won't qualify for any category-based Express Entry (EE) draws with lower CRS cutoffs. As for all-program EE draws, you need very high CRS cutoffs (recently 500 or more ) for ITA. Your best bet is PNP.

Technology also have its own problem due the the retrenchment of tech jobs at Silicon valley. I for one know persons in this field that cant land jobs. I highly recommend healthcare & trade which are highly in demand & pays well. For trade it takes less than a year to get an apprenticeship job. Good luck guys!!!

      I agree with most things mentioned in the video. If you are coming to Canada it is better to pick a program that leads to professions that are in demand in canada and that are specialized in skills that the market actually needs.
      However if you are already enrolling in a general business program there is no need to be disheartened or scared. It is always better to upskill yourself when you have the time. Learn python, VBA, SQL, familiarize yourself with tools like Power BI, Tableau that will help you land a analyst position. Learn French to make yourself more employable and integrated into the Canadian Society.
      When on student visa you should be studying and not working too many hours and just looking to earn money. Gain skills that Canada actually needs then your job search should be much easier.

      When I took business administration, only few of my classmates took the accounting route, so you don’t have the same competition like management grads. So I would say this would be one of the best concentrations if wish to push through with business admin.

You need to have determination, practice with French speakers, read French books and magazines, watch French TV, develop an interested in French (Quebecois) culture, etc. More importantly, you study French for the purpose of passing the French language test (TCF or TEF).
