Hey man! I just got by PPL back in September - one thing that really helped me was using a flight simulator at home and going through the routine of the maneuvers + emergency's at home alone. Not sure if you have one but you can easily get one set up for less than one flight lesson and use it for hours with no cost.
yeah! I've been trying to setup my own simulator and FS2024 is broken at the moment, especially with the Cessna. I'll wait for the update and then try doing it again. For the time being, I'm just visualizing it in my mind.
Btw I love how the CFI messes up and says around 27:40 that stalls can happen at fairly low angle of attack :) I think my CFI messed up in the same exact way when explaining the same exact concept. Also him just watching the ball all the way to the right at the stall break is just big balls tactic. That's why I'd never be able to be a CFI :)
This is the hardest way to do slowflight. Gradually pulling power while trying to match the new airspeed with the trim wheel... All you have to do is pull power to something like 1500 RPM, wait for the airspeed to decay (pull to keep altitude), and then once your target airspeed is reached - put in flaps, push, advance power and retrim. The entire thing takes around 5 seconds that way, you simply don't have enough time to deviate 100 feet. What you're doing requires a lot of precision and attention.
Love your videos great first hand . The more you do the better you will be.
Thanks so much!

yup, I didn't know how to properly get into slow-flight, as with all the other maneuvers I was supposed to do that day.
