There's an assumption that the branded or original product is better - it often isn't, as you showed with the honey nut cornflakes! I also shop in Aldi and prefer some of their products to the branded equivalents. I would never choose New York or Warburton's bagels when I can have the far superior Aldi version - and the bonus is, they are half the price!

I'm from Poland so I'm not sure if it's also in your Lidl. Lidl produces non-original choco bons( choco bonbon), snickers, Twix etc. And honestly these sweets are great, choco bons indistinguishable. Hope to see Lidl version 🥰

They do some great dupes I love their pringles especially but the prices have risen so much I don't go in there now for anything other than kitchen roll and toilet roll I use Asda as their fruit is cheaper and they sell Quorn I literally live off them products now with these wild days of prices 😅💖
What are you basing you're guesses on? The assumption that the branded will be better? I think you should repeat and rather than getting it 'right' or 'wrong' just do which you prefer. Videos like this show how similar dupes are when you take away prejudices and sight
Idk, but I personally will not go near Aldi or countenance their rip-offs. Just on principle. It's lazy profiteering from the ideas of others and somebody else will have worked hard to bring a concept to fruition. Especially when they do it to smaller businesses. No, they aren't alone. But I cannot respect their trying to make a total lack of creativity into something commendable. Plus food and its production isn't cheap when done ethically and sustainably. Their implying it can be (without somebody, somewhere getting hurt? Yeah right) is just plain wrong. And no, branding doesn't guarantee quality. But low-grade dupes will be cutting corners I wouldn't want to shave off.

I think Aldi's Kinder Bueno dupes are better than the real thing and I've eaten an OBSCENE amount of both.
