Absolute masterclass by Itazan in the second toughest match up for Zangief after Dhalsim, in my opinion.
That defense was elite!
Lily is worse, oddly enough.
I'm just a silver Modern Zangief scrub, but Dhalsim, Lily, and Ed are my hardest matchups so far.
I shudder to think how difficult this match was before the patch. :o

Once upon a time, this match would have been impossible for Zangief. Amazing what the devs have done to make pretty much any character viable.
now with the update we can consider zangief playable
Man if higuchi ever asked to play with him I would say no it be very frustrating to go against him I would most likely rage quit lol or 100%I get my ass kicked lol

@@victorgbs I never liked the change. He should say "Sonic Boom" for the normal one and yell "SONIC" or "BOOM" for the perfect one.

@@victorgbs Yeah, it's too late now. But I don't play Guile so it's not that bad.
That Higuchi plays too safe most of the time spaming Sonic Boom attack, he has skills to do great combos but rarely did it.
Combos and neutral are entirely different aspects of a fighting game.
He's fighting Zangief and a very very good one at that. If he doesn't, this match is over in 10-15 secs at least
In a matchup like Zangief you don’t want to risk them getting close to you

SF4 was good to play and watch- this is another shit version like 5 - it's robotic and odd. They have improved the graphics at the expense of playability... What a disappointment.

I completely agree with @drriks0017. Capcom needs to take it back to basics. SF4 gameplay fundamentals felt like SF2. When I got to B rank Guile in SF4, the combos worked when going back to playing SF2 on emulators. SF5 and SF6 feels like some clayfighters BS
