      It can be, but they do get enough rain to grow crops without irrigation!

      Nothing grown in a huge monoculture field can be anything close to actual organic. They all have to spray "generally regarded as safe" chemical warfare on their 500 acres of the same crop. Otherwise bugs would destroy the whole farm
