Knowing this, as along as the sensor is placed where the middle bird is elevated to, jumping will always work. Worst case scenario use 2 sensors in varied locations for more diversity.

For scale, servo is not fast enough, use Arduino micro for simulating keyboard, or just python... use 2 sensors to detect speed to press space at optimal time as the speed inscreases
