CITY was 1st album for me . DETOX started it...but Room 429 stopped me in my tracks. I knew Devin was destined for so much more......and so it was done!
Room 429 should be the last track. I listen to full albums for the most part. But instead of skipping the song, I just skip to the next album, and Spirituality rarely gets a listen.
this and spirituality kinda show the real spirit of the album. I kinda like how the rest of it to me just feels like this misplaced/false anger, while its real but these tracks are how you're really feeling
Spirituality is essential, and probably one of my favorite closing tracks ever. After the existential nightmare that was City, it's a heavy blast of release. It really ties everything together. One final statement, as slow and destructive as a tornado, a final "Fuck you" and reflection

i got my first tattoo was Syl signet on my arm
This song FOREVER. I love this version omg
Hello ! You have excellent taste in music!
how have i never heard about this masterpiece until now.
Ha. "If I had to lose, I'd rather take you all" as oppose to "If I had to lose, I'd surely choose my life".
Kinda shows the state of mind dev was in at the time.
The podcast does shed a lot of light on these albums
Homage to a great band.
Cop Shoot Cop. 🤘

Devin... YOU'RE THE FUCKING MAN!
This song always reminds me of addiction. The empty room is when you get high. And it's always there. Silently watching.
According to Tod in Cop Shot Cop it's about a couple doing heroin.
Love him 💘
When they come knocking at the door, the lights are on but we ain't home.
Ei olla ei, eikä tulla! 😄
Masterpiece🖤
Devin really knows how to write a love song! You rock Mr Townsend Sir.
Actually its a cover by Cop Shoot Cop, still a great cover one of my favorite SYL songs for sure.

this is actually a cover bro :P
Such a great song. Has a Tim Burton feel to it.
Muy buena, esta a la altura pero no supera la original
Better then the original. But killer writing nonetheless.
I don't agree.
I don't think this is AS good as the original. Sorry.
The rest of the album though still kicks ass.
Original is better
