I simply cannot understand why the heck, especially when the docks are pretty clear, that people seem to always try to back their boats into the water on the passenger (blind) side. In all my years of boating I always backed in on the drivers side since visibility is so much better to get everything lined up properly. I leave just enough room between my truck and the dock to open my door to get out. So much easier.
Not appealing??? That is the ugliest boat I have ever seen no matter how old or new of a design. Pure ugly lines. Couldn't believe what I was looking at and had to replay 3 times. Can't believe anyone designed it or anyone bought it. Yuk.
@@ronn68 when I first seen it coming into frame, that's the first thing I thought. Someone made it homemade. Is that the point? HaHa Nah,but it surly is an ugly boat, n doesn't look like it will handle the seas very well. Guess it's a show piece lol
We had the same problem once with our trailer dragging. Easy fix higher ball mount. Can't ever remember a time in 40 years we didn't get out and check the ramp.
Web Crawler....My question, too....??? Maybe it is in the process of being finished, but why not get the whole thing done at one time...doesn't make any sense to do just a small section at a time.
06:21 $250k for a 28 foot boat? Good lord. I paid $9k for my 1987 23 foot in 2001 & it does everything this boat does. I just can't wrap my head around the price... maybe because I'm poor?
Some times you can’t with certain ramps. The place where I launch here in Louisiana to fish Toledo bend you don’t have the space to square up to it so you gotta come in at an angle and then back up square to it as the trailer is going down in the water
Or just learn how to back up use common sense and courtesy towards other and jetskiers seem have none of those qualities why we now have cops at Ramps in Orland o
I've also wondered the same thing. If you get it straight to begin with it's a lot easier to keep it straight going back. I guess they like learning the hard way.
I agree, square up for sure. But also they need to fill on the giant sandbox... what possible purpose can it serve right smack in the middle of the ramps.
Being worth $250,000 and costing $250,000 are two different things. The De Antonio 28ft yacht can cost upwards of $300,000. The Dually itself Costs $50,000 to $70,000+ depending on Trim etc. South Dakota does not have any ocean front property though whose to say one day it won't? I know it's sarcasm. Honestly though... Maybe one day South Dakota will have ocean front property. Buy it while its cheap. :) Also I see am I resurrecting a year old comment.
After watching quite a few of these videos I think some training at home in the driveway is warranted. Have to get use to how everything works when turning right/left... Not only backing up a vehicle with a trailer but a larger single vehicle as well such as a motorhome. Seriously, it's ok to practice where you have less pressure and not going to lose your boat or vehicle. Know the limits of your rig. Basic stuff honestly.
The toughest part for me when watching these videos is watching some of these people guide the drivers to the ramp. If you can't help then don't hinder. Honestly, how hard is it to tell someone to stop, go back to the top of the ramp and start again versus some of the nonsense you see here as well as in other similar videos. Just plain crazy.
That would not happening scrapping the trailer if the got the adjustable trailer hitch lol. They have it too low get the adjustable trailer hitch and sit it high will stop the grinding on trailer. Hope this help others .
cuzz the dealer screwed him on the trailer!!! the boat had prob been in dealer stock for a while dont have proper trailer for boat so dealer says i got a deal for you!!! then its otta sight & outta mind for dealer.
I agree, I would not consider it as a Yacht, however, despite our opinions it is in fact a Yacht. This specific model is classed as a "Cruiser" which made me laugh.
Part of the problem for the fancy boat is he didn't have the trailer level whle being towed. It would make it safer to pull plus it would given it more clearance to be backed down. That boat sure is unique.....but uniquely ugly in my opinion
About as interesting as watching grass grow, not sure why that ugly looking boats trailer drawbar is so rediculously long which is why it was scrapping 😶
I think that style is hideous, my wife likes them. If that is being delivered never to see the trailer again, I get it. If not I want to see the recovery of it. Getting on one of those and seeing the fit , finish and fixings I get why the price is high but not that high. They are big and roomy inside.
Myself and my son could drop both of are jet skis and I could park the truck and trailer and be on the ski before done if these people even get down the ramp

Quite right, makes all the difference, then just use your mirrors
Was just going to make the same comment
Makes no difference to me which side, but then again I can back a trailer and do it with my mirrors so 🤷♂️
Big boats need a smaller slope ramp. Call me jealous if you like, but that boat isn't appealing. I don't get it.
Not appealing??? That is the ugliest boat I have ever seen no matter how old or new of a design. Pure ugly lines. Couldn't believe what I was looking at and had to replay 3 times. Can't believe anyone designed it or anyone bought it. Yuk.
Agreed ! That’s one UGLY boat!
That boat is fugly. Florida: too bad you can't buy style!
I love it when the wealthy buy expensive, overpriced items that are butt-ugly. Honestly looks like a homemade plywood boat.

Legend has it, he's still at the ramp.😁
We had the same problem once with our trailer dragging. Easy fix higher ball mount. Can't ever remember a time in 40 years we didn't get out and check the ramp.
I know the lights are waterproof but I still unplug them.
What is the point of a spotter when they stand there and watch you go off the ramp. Choose your spotter wisely.
What an exciting video. Can't wait to subscribe...
250K for that pice of crap? YOU GOT GOTTA BE KIDDING
I agree is that the ugliest boat you’ve ever seen. 🥴
Just love how everything in life has an over inflated value.
Met you last weekend. My daughter and I came back today to check out the action. Must have just missed you.
Yes I left early, it was good to meet you guys
The day you see me backing my trailer 😳😳😳😳. Failures will look like celebrations.😁.
Blessings from Palm Beach county Florida. 👍
Why don’t they concrete that middle section of the ramp? 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Web Crawler....My question, too....??? Maybe it is in the process of being finished, but why not get the whole thing done at one time...doesn't make any sense to do just a small section at a time.
I agree
Look at these guys. Three wide and you got fiberglass crunches for all haha
Looks to me use to be a dock there, but yes thats bad.
Divider to keep these hillbillies from collliding and getting in a gunfight
I wanted to see them drop that big boat. WtF. Was you late for lunch??
Yes sorry about that had an appointment somewhere else with granddaughter.

What do this guy 🤔
problem is, one can by a 6x4 box trailer, a boat trailer and caravan without even doing a proficiency course
Always reverse a trailer using your mirrors not looking over your shoulder
That trailer does not appear to be tailored for the boat, rather a generic option?
I don’t know why people don’t pull forward until truck and trailer are in line with each other and then go straight back. 🤦🏼♂️
Dude if you believe the boat who damaged the trailer is worth $250,000.... you're going to love my oceanfront property in South Dakota

That's a good way to mess up the spare tire
Boats that size are exactly why lake Norman is NO FUN on weekends!

When did a 28-foot boat become a yacht?
@drats1279 The boat was described from the manufacturer was yacht? I describe it as too much?????
What is the purpose of the center section of the ramp ?
This ramp has a few flaws. One being drop offs made into ramp. Where there is no concrete. It needs to be re-done
It’s an idiot trap. It catches folks who can’t be bothered stopping, getting out, and looking the ramp over before backing down it.
Designed to provide content for my fans.
Why is there a big ditch in the middle of the ramp?
Content creator, or poor design?
Because that is not part of the ramp.
City manager and the civil engineer we're trying to save money to get the project approved , they should both be slapped !
Jet skis got reverse now?
PWCs had them for over 20 years. They even have brakes and cruise control.
That de Antonio is uglier than my first boat.
That would not happening scrapping the trailer if the got the adjustable trailer hitch lol. They have it too low get the adjustable trailer hitch and sit it high will stop the grinding on trailer. Hope this help others .
The adjustable one's aren't as strong, with a big boat you might not get to the ramp
Why is the trailer SO long on that De Antonio ? Is that not the issue?
Ugly boats need long trailers, so not to rub off on truck towing it.. lol
cuzz the dealer screwed him on the trailer!!! the boat had prob been in dealer stock for a while dont have proper trailer for boat so dealer says i got a deal for you!!! then its otta sight & outta mind for dealer.
That's no yacht at only 28FT., no matter how much you spent on it.
I was thinking the same thing. That’s like a “luxury economy car”…
I agree, I would not consider it as a Yacht, however, despite our opinions it is in fact a Yacht. This specific model is classed as a "Cruiser" which made me laugh.

I had a 62' Hatteras and it didn't cost that much.
That 250K yacht is the ugliest block of wood I have ever seen. Looks a lot like my first pinewood derby car.
What lake is this ?
Lake norman nc
That last one, I don't think that's the right trailer for that boat. It looks like the winch is way up by the truck....
That truck should not have to get close to the water even
What did that one guy do (the one that was scraping his trailer), run the guy in the blue shirt off the dock?
The tongue height is too low. He needs to raise the tow ball height. He scraped the bottom of the trailer frame on the grade transition.
Launching boats from trailers takes too long. Guy in the kayak had the right idea: get a boat you can pick up and carry to the water.
Geez that's not a yacht that's a aircraft carrier
That 250000 dollar boat is hideous and that boat and truck combined is around 350000
why don't they put some posts where that drop off spot it
So true, last week I missed a truck and boat stuck on next ramp over for six hrs. They brought in divers and used hooks to raise the trailer and boat.
All the time spent on other boats and you can't show the big boat launch!!! Waste
Um so the first at the boat ramp waaaasss ?????? Drum roll please !!! Oh wait that was it 🤔 nevermind 😅
About as interesting as watching grass grow, not sure why that ugly looking boats trailer drawbar is so rediculously long which is why it was scrapping 😶
Is it just me or is that trailer about 10' too long for that boat.
it was a transporter using a fit all trailer lol
250,000 dollars worth of ugly
Don't care how much that thing cost, it's really ugly.
Who was the over paid genius who designed those stupid boat ramps. They forgot to pour concrete????? Maybe the goof with the fugly boat?
But it makes great videos
That trailer is way too long for the yacht
I think that style is hideous, my wife likes them. If that is being delivered never to see the trailer again, I get it. If not I want to see the recovery of it. Getting on one of those and seeing the fit , finish and fixings I get why the price is high but not that high. They are big and roomy inside.
These guys can not back a trailer for shit. Yes a trailer... Don't matter what kind it is. God help them...
Myself and my son could drop both of are jet skis and I could park the truck and trailer and be on the ski before done if these people even get down the ramp
It’s ugly alright but at least it was backed down ok as far as being on center of ramp
At 0:01; what an idiotic ramp setup!
They should call it; "Axle decapitator" ;-)
That DeAntonio is one ugly boat. That is no yacht. And nowhere near $250.000 worth of boat in any book, he got robbed.
Bad ramp designs.
Boring clip. Bye, I'm going back over to Bronco Guru's.
6:20 It was designed from a brick 🤢
That video was such a waste of time. How was this a first at the boat ramp? He scraped a trailer on the ramp? That was dumb
Lot of money or an ugly boat
🤷
Ugly boat I don't get it.
That's one ugly boat
I agree
Ugly boat.
I don't care what it costs that De Antonio is the most butt-ugly boat I've ever seen. If it was given to me I would sell it immediately.
I should do a video on ugly boats, and De Antonio would be at the top of list
All that money for show of boaty and truxk but not smart enuff to put right hitch in
