Hi Lorry! Thanks for uploading. I use sunscreen from a Korean brand, Beauty of Joseon. It’s SPF50+ & PA++++. The only downside is that it’s not waterproof. No white cast, no greasy texture, etc. & it smells really good too.
Ultrasun is an amazing brand!! I wear it everyday on my face and every summer I wear it on my body as well. I never ever get tan lines or burnt and I’m super pale. It’s a long wearing sunscreen. I’ve been out in the blazing sun for 6 hrs without burning and tanning. It’s a European sunscreen. I use Ultrasun Extreme SPF 50. It’s for very sensitive skin. They have a bunch of other products, but since my skin is so sensitive and picky it seems like Extreme is the best product for me.
Thank you so much for this video! There are a lot of products of which I was not aware at all! What a coincidence you mentioned that the tip of the nose was a common area to get skin cancer. I had a pre-cancerous spot at age 26. By the time I reached 40, I had to have Mohs surgery to remove the cancer. It had not been noticeable to the casual observer. It became noticeable afterwards as I had 32 stitches starting from the bridge of my nose going straight down the center and then in kind of an arc over the right nostril almost to the cheek. When I saw my face in the mirror, I thought the whiter-than-usual-looking skin with red stitches in a straight line looked familiar, and then I realized ... it reminded me of a baseball! ⚾️ 😄 I suppose it has healed as well as possible, because the surgeon was quite satisfied with it at the follow up appointments. She had trained as an artist and described having to creatively utilize several layers of skin to cover the excised area as being like origami! 😂 I have the most high risk skin (excepting albinos), and my mom had always been very insistent on sun safety before that was popular. I only had one bad facial sunburn. I think what I did wrong was not reapplying sunscreen every two hours when I was outside every day. My dad, who has the same skin type, has had the same type of surgery across the tips of both ears. Anyway, thank you very much for this very informative video! I am interested in a number of these products! 🙏😍🌸🌺❤️
@@LorryHill Awww, thank you for your sympathy! 🥹 The surgery was actually a piece of cake (for me) because it’s only local anaesthetic and they remove the tiniest layer possible, and they have a lab right there in which they examine it to see if they have to remove another layer. There are other patients there as well, so it’s 20 to 30 minutes with the surgeon, then waiting for a couple hours while other patients have their turn and while the lab does its analysis, then another 20 to 30 minutes with the surgeon until the lab confirms that all of the cancer has been removed. There were two surgeons working in their own operating rooms with the assistance of a resident each. I believe there were 3 patients per surgeon. All the patients show up at 7:30 AM iirc and one might be there for 10+ hours, or one might be done in 3-4 hours. Thank you for complimenting my attitude! I have thankfully been blessed with a sense of humour which I find essential! Gratitude is also a big help! Not to mention TH-cam channels like yours that always have a positive outlook!! 🙏😍 I’ve read a lot about history and I’m so glad we live in this current time with all the medical care we have available. Anaesthetic as we know it was only invented in 1847, and its use was not immediately accepted worldwide. We actually owe a lot of our medical advances to World War I and World War II as grisly as that sounds. Knowing about these sorts of things help me to keep my problems in perspective! Thank you very much for your kind wishes! I hope that you and your family are also healthy and happy! 🥰💐🌻🌸🌺🙏
Great video! I've been more careful about sun protection since i had to have skin cancer removed from my scalp in my mid thirties (also have an extensive family history of skin cancer). I'm allergic to something in chemical sunscreen, so I'm limited to mineral based sunscreen. They are so thick though, that i hate putting them on my body. I have found some good daily mineral sunscreens for face, but I've yet to find one that i can use all over without feeling icky or breaking the bank. So I've been focusing on UV clothing. I also bought some lightweight uv protective pants from Amazon. I will definitely check out some of these items and I look forward to the sunscreen video 😊.
This information is God sent. I’m black and I’m very serious about sun protection. I work in the sun everyday. I’ve bought the sunshield. I already have the shirts with sp 50 plus. Thanks for this video may God bless you
Love the message here. I got my red-headed teen daughter wearing the uv protective rashguards for swimming. She found some prints that aren’t “old lady” as she says! She actually loves it vs wearing a bikini because she doesn’t have to mess with as much sunscreen.
I love all of these suggestions! I do want to clarify though that sunscreen is still necessary to apply and reapply to prevent skin cancer. No matter what, it is needed, but as Lorry stated UPF clothing and hats are an AMAZING supplement. The best sunscreen no matter what you read about or see on the internet is the one that you're going to use and reuse consistently. I live in a very hot climate like Lorry, but also humid and there is some trial-and-error involved, but it is SOO needed to not skip this very important step in your well-aging journey. ❤
I needed this video!! I’ve been working outside for the past three years and always wear sunscreen and hats but lately my hats have been causing acne on my forehead so I need to find new options!
Hi Lorry! I loved this video. I always enjoy it when you talk about skincare. I don’t have any particular preference for the sunscreen that goes on my body, anything will do. But I am more careful with face sunscreen as I have acne and my skin is a bit more difficult to menage. That’t why I really like the Eucerin Oil Control SPF 50+. It doesn’t leave me white as a ghost and it is good for oily skin. I recently also tried the new sunscreen by The Inkey List (the Dewy Finish one) and I like it but it is a bit too dewy for my taste. It would work better on dry or normal skin.
The most comfortable, cheap and best solution seems to me to be a washing product with sun protection. 2.) The separate arm protectors, very practical. 3.) The hoodies. 4.) Sun hat should be lightweight, easy to carry, light color, light colors reflect the sun, dark colors absorb light, get too hot. 5.) The parasol is practical but is often forgotten.
Lorry, it's like you're reading my mind with all your new content!!! I've been in the market for UPF clothing for a while, but I've been holding off on buying because I couldn't decide which items and from which brands. Thank you!!!
the cotz tinted sunscreen spf 50 is my favorite because it doesn't irritate my eyes and i like that its not water resistant since Im not outdoors for a long period time so i don't sweat. Water resistant sunscreens from my experience feel a lot heavier ( I only use mineral sunscreen).
I like the hoodie & will be picking one up! Thanks for the tip! For face sunscreen, I use Odacite Flex Performing Tinted Mineral Drops, or Then I Met You Essence Sunscreen. Both are high protection. EltaMD UV Clear Tinted SPF 46 is another I like. Though it says Clear, it’s tinted - they have a non tinted version too. Since surgery many years ago, my neck is ultra sensitive to lots of topical products, and sunscreen was a real issue. All three of these don’t make me react. They are also not heavy or sticky, The Then I Met You one is sort of a sunscreen-serum hybrid. Very moisturising. I’d love to see a video where you review various sunscreens, I’m always looking for the latest & greatest!

This was such an important video for people to see! Being a super pale person I am very careful about sun protection. The original Red Hat is a big floppy UPF straw style. I wear sun sleeves (a bit like the shrug), but it's a crop top you wear under a t-shirt, made for sports or other physical activity, i wear it when running outside. My driving sun protection gloves are much longer, they cover above the elbow so you can get full coverage if you are wearing a t-shirt. When I travelled for a long period of time a few years ago I wore these sun sensor wristbands. You put them on before you put on your sunscreen and put SPF over them. Then while you are exposed to sun they change colour. They start pale yellow, when they turn a peach colour it's time to reapply SPF but when they go orange it's time to get out the sun. They were so, so helpful on my trip.
@@LorryHill Yes! I just did a quick search and I think I bought the Swedish brand Smartsun UV wristbands, but there are lots of different sensors. I think they are so useful if you're going to be outdoors for an extended period of time.
Hi lorry, I love watching your videos😍 I’m thinking about getting a cheek augmentation (implants) and want to find the best doctor for this procedure. You’re the only persons who’s advice I’d trust 😅 do you know Kendall Jenner doctors name? Or is there a doctor you’d recommend? Thank you ❤❤

Ahh Lorry, thank you, really enjoyed this. A couple of things I’ve never seen before, and a couple of v important facts I hadn’t heard either 😭 If you do do a sunscreen review, which I think is a great idea, pleeease include the Hada Labo Koi-Gokujyun UV White Gel SPF 50+ PA++++. I like hearing opinions on that one as it’s my go-go. It’s a physical/chemical hybrid x
PLEASE do an updated video on Kylie Jenner!! She is looking SO different these days in the face, and I suspect she had a breast reduction as well?? Not sure but it's my recent suspicion. Thank You♥♥
I loved this video even though here in Finland it gets dark even here at the south at 3 p.m-4p.m at worst. But at summers the sun sets very late. Not basically at all in Midnsummer night time. Or very few hours. It is the cloudy falls, winters and early springs that I think offers protection from sun light even though the weather is awful then usually at least at Helsinki. Ps. My friend thought you are something like 27 or 28 or something and I agree that you look very young. I think that you have picked what to do with so much consideration that it makes such a difference. Even though you have had your strugles. Your video about fat crafting and fillers especially to nasolabials was very scary. I am happy you are ok. ❤ You do important job here, Lorry. I did not know that problem with fillers and fat crafting. 2 years ago I found your channel and have seen most of your videos 😊
I love this video because I didn’t know about a lot of these options. Sometimes I’m running around for work and I get so upset at myself for not reapplying but it’s hard to squeeze it in sometimes. These are great ways to help that issue, I will look into buying!
Walgreens has a store brand face sunscreen and moisturizer/base layer that doesn’t cause any acne and it feels soft on my face not oily. Hawaiian tropic sunscreen spf 30, then as I tan I use the lowest spf. The scent is very sensual for me and I’ve used the brand since Jr high school in 1983…. And baseball caps for the face and eyes (shade!). Yeah sunglasses will protect your eyesight after 40. Hats also protect your hair color from fading/brassy. Sunbunnny here, stuck in the rainy upper left corner of the USA
I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED THIS VIDEO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. P.S can we please get a video on what yoy think are good procedures or treatments to address lines and spreading lines under eyes? Please Lorryy
I’ve been sweating so much this summer - using spf has truly been a challenge. I wish they’d design a large long sun protective raincoat with a/c in it!
hello Ms Lorry do you know if you can use zinc oxide 20% from the baby section of the drug store & just mix it w your face cream? i did that for a summer when my normal mineral sunscreen (w zinc oxide 20%) kept being out of stock & it seemed to work as far as i know & very cheap i’m not sure but i think maybe they just can not say it’s safe for use as sunscreen cuz of regulations but it is the same mineral & same percentage so … 🤔? thanks 🙂
Zinc oxide is an ingredient in sunscreen, but is not sunscreen in and off itself. Also mixing sunscreens destroys the formulation and will render the sunscreen ineffective. Check out Lab Muffin Beauty Science for accurate information.
I’m 42 almost and noticed this holiday in the sun i am getting sun spot damage so hat on, factor 50 and try not bask in it like I did in my younger days😮
Some of these products I would not trust. I see the light through your hat for example. And $11 sunglasses could not possibly be good enough. I am a melanoma survivor so I’m super careful. This was a wonderful video to bring awareness, thank you!!
Do you have any recommendations for sunscreen? I'm quite fair-skinned, and I'd like to prevent as much damage as I can. (why haven't they invented SPF 1000 already?)
Hi Lorry, I think you mentioned a while back that you had your premolar teeth extracted some time ago which you don't think was necessary. Same here. I had 4 premolars extracted and then braces fitted which pushed my teeth backwards to close the premolar gaps. I think this was totally unnecessary (I didn't have overcrowded teeth to begin with). Now I have teeth that have been pushed too far back and are not comfortable nor aesthetically pleasing. I've contacted so many orthodontists to see if that previous work can be reversed and they're telling me that's its impossible/no one has ever asked them to that before etc etc. Surely it must be possible, at least to some extent. I wonder if you've experienced something similar and whether there is a recognised remedy for this problem? Sorry to be so left field but you're the only person I've heard talk about this and can't find anything online!
Can confirm I barely spend any time outdoors but I do take long car trips and live in a desert climate so I am getting a lot of sun damage just from driving. 😭 even when wearing sunscreen. Until I can afford uv protective tinting on my car windows I’m going to start wearing more protective clothing while driving and stop caring about looking stupid lol.
What sunscreens do you recommend? I recently bought Peter Thomas Roth’s mineral sunblock, but I wonder if you recommend something mineral yet stronger because I don’t think anything is enough in places like the Caribbean and Mexico
I will try and find it as I need it year round; I have used La Roche- Posey for years in the fluid mineral form but I am not sure if it’s enough in summer in a tropical place
@LorryHill, Shakira looks like she’s had some obvious cosmetic enhancements. I’m wondering what she’s had done. Looks like a lover’s revenge procedure. ❤
Lorry I know when you make Kpop videos you get a ton of black lash but I hope you make some more. It’s so insane how many young kpop fans believe that it’s all natural. It’s scary honestly
I am amused, how she tries to say in a positive way - they see you in the car only for a minute and than you are gone 😂😂 This video is really important. If you want to have a beautiful skin, you have to protect it every day, especially in the car.
I dont get why so many people are mad at this video. I was in japan this spring and many people there wear a lot of those things you mentioned. And if anyone knows how to protect oneself from the sun, its the east asians lol
I feel like all sunscreens burn my eyes. I end up crying my makeup off. I've tried so many brands with different active ingredients and have ended up avoiding my eye area all together. It's frustrating bc that is where It's most needed I feel!
Good ideas but many of these just aren’t practical. I’m a very pale person living in nyc, it’s sunscreen, shady side of street, hat, umbrella, staying inside between 10 and 4. Tried and true without looking ridiculous.
@@raygin6581 Many were good ideas (as I said) but imo wearing long sleeves and gloves in the August heat of NYC (very hot & humid) is impractical. As for the visor, I’ve accepted being stared at for carrying an umbrella when it’s sunny out but can’t for looking like I’m living in my own private sci-fi universe. I personally prefer to be anonymous when possible and blend in with the crowd. It’s just my preference.

I suppose it has healed as well as possible, because the surgeon was quite satisfied with it at the follow up appointments. She had trained as an artist and described having to creatively utilize several layers of skin to cover the excised area as being like origami! 😂
I have the most high risk skin (excepting albinos), and my mom had always been very insistent on sun safety before that was popular.
Oh I’m so very sorry you had to go through that surgery ! What a great attitude you have towards it! I wish you health and happiness!
@@LorryHill Awww, thank you for your sympathy! 🥹
The surgery was actually a piece of cake (for me) because it’s only local anaesthetic and they remove the tiniest layer possible, and they have a lab right there in which they examine it to see if they have to remove another layer.
I’ve read a lot about history and I’m so glad we live in this current time with all the medical care we have available.
Ty so much Lori! I am really worried about sun protection as my mom had skin cancer twice, I'm more likely to get it. Great job love ❤❤
Aww that’s too bad! I hope she is well now ❤️🩹
Great video!
Omg PERFECT timing, Lorry. I was just searching the internet this morning for sun protective items!!!!!
What a coincidence!!
As a fair skinned lady this is exactly the content I need! Thank you Lorry
LOVE THE DARTH VADER SHIELD!
And not just because I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan 😁
Love that Lorry only demonstrates the open umbrella outside, my superstitious self was worried she was gonna open it indoors. 😂
yoooooo, the darth vader shield has been around a while but that silver one looks SO cool
Yes 🙌
I love all of these suggestions! I do want to clarify though that sunscreen is still necessary to apply and reapply to prevent skin cancer. No matter what, it is needed, but as Lorry stated UPF clothing and hats are an AMAZING supplement. The best sunscreen no matter what you read about or see on the internet is the one that you're going to use and reuse consistently. I live in a very hot climate like Lorry, but also humid and there is some trial-and-error involved, but it is SOO needed to not skip this very important step in your well-aging journey. ❤
Yes !! Thank you are 100% right !!
Like la roche posay sunscreen, but also garnier and nivea those dont stain my shirts.
That detergent thing is amazing.
SuperGoop Mattescreen is the sunscreen I use religiously on my face. It’s mineral and has a slight tint so it doesn’t give me so much of a white cast.
Lorry thanks for reminding us in the last video about the ones we missed... These are so informational.. I enjoyed it
I needed this video!! I’ve been working outside for the past three years and always wear sunscreen and hats but lately my hats have been causing acne on my forehead so I need to find new options!
So glad!
Best sunblock: live in Scandinavia where 6 months of year UV is like 1 or max 2 :DD.
It would work better on dry or normal skin.
that one sounds promising for acne sufferers!
Love these! So cool and the detergent, wow! I wanna know about sun exposure in winter??
Love this! Thanks Lorry 💗 you make everything look so stylish!
Lorry, it's like you're reading my mind with all your new content!!! I've been in the market for UPF clothing for a while, but I've been holding off on buying because I couldn't decide which items and from which brands. Thank you!!!
Love that!
the cotz tinted sunscreen spf 50 is my favorite because it doesn't irritate my eyes and i like that its not water resistant since Im not outdoors for a long period time so i don't sweat.
I love Elta MD and thank you for the suggestions I’ll look !
that shrug is randomly actually hella cute 😮🥲
I thought so too; I’ll usually wear it into night if it’s chilly later haha

Omg those sun sensors sound amazing !!
@@LorryHill Yes! I just did a quick search and I think I bought the Swedish brand Smartsun UV wristbands, but there are lots of different sensors. I think they are so useful if you're going to be outdoors for an extended period of time.
i hope more women in the US start hoping on this trend bc it def can be a bit embarrassing walking around looking like you are about to rob someone
LOVE YOU, LORRY!
Watching and sharing all your new content 😊
Hi lorry, I love watching your videos😍 I’m thinking about getting a cheek augmentation (implants) and want to find the best doctor for this procedure. You’re the only persons who’s advice I’d trust 😅 do you know Kendall Jenner doctors name? Or is there a doctor you’d recommend? Thank you ❤❤
This is actually sooo helpful, like its the kind of info you didn’t even know you needed. I will definitely be getting some of this stuff and I've learned something new today ❤
I have the sun visor and is completely worth it! Love it so much❤
Where do you wear it?
Ahh Lorry, thank you, really enjoyed this. A couple of things I’ve never seen before, and a couple of v important facts I hadn’t heard either 😭
If you do do a sunscreen review, which I think is a great idea, pleeease include the Hada Labo Koi-Gokujyun UV White Gel SPF 50+ PA++++.
My favorite face sunscreen is the Biore Japan Aqua Rich. Really any Japanese or Korean brand is usually great in my experience
This is such a great video! I love the shrug idea! ❤️ I use a tear free sunscreen I’ve tried more expensive brands but I have very sensitive eyes
Good idea; so many sunscreens make my eyes tear - it’s crazy !
I love this video because I didn’t know about a lot of these options. Sometimes I’m running around for work and I get so upset at myself for not reapplying but it’s hard to squeeze it in sometimes. These are great ways to help that issue, I will look into buying!
Thank you for this sweet feedback!
Lorry! Such a helpful video. Love all your content and advice 😊 can't wait for the sun screen video as well!
❤️🥰
Walgreens has a store brand face sunscreen and moisturizer/base layer that doesn’t cause any acne and it feels soft on my face not oily. Hawaiian tropic sunscreen spf 30, then as I tan I use the lowest spf. The scent is very sensual for me and I’ve used the brand since Jr high school in 1983…. And baseball caps for the face and eyes (shade!). Yeah sunglasses will protect your eyesight after 40.
Hats also protect your hair color from fading/brassy. Sunbunnny here, stuck in the rainy upper left corner of the USA
This is an awesome video - I have been looking into the masks so all the other product recs are a bonus! Thanks Lorry :)
Thanks so much ❤️🥰
Oh I need this info. I do pretty well with sunscreen, but I do like to be out there and I know it’s not great as I age!
That visor and gloves are sooo good!
The best!
NICE!! Ordered several things. Thanks for doing this video.
Thank you so much for supporting!!
I'm from Florida and i loved this. Im going to buy a lot of stuff because i need it
I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED THIS VIDEO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
P.S can we please get a video on what yoy think are good procedures or treatments to address lines and spreading lines under eyes? Please Lorryy
Aww love you too and thank you for the encouragement!
The shrug is soooo cute 😍
I love the new videos it's exactly what I've been looking for lately 💜💜💜
I’ve been sweating so much this summer - using spf has truly been a challenge. I wish they’d design a large long sun protective raincoat with a/c in it!
Haha it’s a good idea but I’m imagining that it now - it would probably be expensive lol
hahaha, I'd buy that lol
The police in Japan wear windbreakers with little fans in them to keep them cool.
Lorry can you review the Bondi Sands sunny daze SPF 50 and the skin 1004 Hyalu-Cica water fit serum? love your videos!
Thank you ! I’ll look them up !
Thank you for doing a video on this topic!
Thank you for watching !!!
Hi Lori!! Loved the video. I just have a question…did you ever get a chance to interview Kibbe and get any answers?
hello Ms Lorry
do you know if you can use zinc oxide 20% from the baby section of the drug store & just mix it w your face cream?
i did that for a summer when my normal mineral sunscreen (w zinc oxide 20%) kept being out of stock & it seemed to work as far as i know & very cheap
i’m not sure but i think maybe they just can not say it’s safe for use as sunscreen cuz of regulations but it is the same mineral & same percentage so … 🤔?
thanks 🙂
I’m pretty sure you can but I wonder how long it lasts ?
Zinc oxide is an ingredient in sunscreen, but is not sunscreen in and off itself. Also mixing sunscreens destroys the formulation and will render the sunscreen ineffective.
Check out Lab Muffin Beauty Science for accurate information.
@@LorryHillYou can’t. Sunscreen doesn’t work like that.
These are awesome! Sun damage sucks
I’m 42 almost and noticed this holiday in the sun i am getting sun spot damage so hat on, factor 50 and try not bask in it like I did in my younger days😮
❤️🥰
Some of these products I would not trust. I see the light through your hat for example. And $11 sunglasses could not possibly be good enough. I am a melanoma survivor so I’m super careful. This was a wonderful video to bring awareness, thank you!!
Wishing you good health ❤️🩹
Thank you for this Lori, great video
I bought one of those UV face shields and one of my friends refused to be seen in public with me 😂
Do you have any recommendations for sunscreen? I'm quite fair-skinned, and I'd like to prevent as much damage as I can.
(why haven't they invented SPF 1000 already?)
Lol love spf 1000!! Yes here’s an Elta MD link;amzn.to/3LSHqYe
Sunblock for the win!!
Thank you, this is what I’m looking for!!!!
Lorry, would you please do an update analysis on Selena Gomez! She looks so different. Also another suggestion, actress/director Olivia Wilde?
Thank you for this video, Lorry 😀. I’m so anal about sun protection that I drive everyone crazy. I especially love those little gloves and the shrug 💕
Of course 🥰❤️
Loved this video! Thanks for all the information ♥️
Thanks for watching!
I wear a wide brimmed hat, protective SPF neck gator, mineral SPF, and carry a sun umbrella. It looks less crazy. Like all my Asian friends.
Great job, thank you!
Love the tips! Thanks Lorry!
❤️🥰
Can you review elta md
When are you coming back from vacay in Patreon? I can’t sign up/gain access until you come back 😢
i think your pale skin and dark hair look beautiful i have very light skin also
Aww thank you !
What sunscreens do you recommend? I recently bought Peter Thomas Roth’s mineral sunblock, but I wonder if you recommend something mineral yet stronger because I don’t think anything is enough in places like the Caribbean and Mexico
I love love love Elta MD !!! But Peter Thomas Roth is a solid brand ! Just reapply every 2 hours - I would do extra barriers out there .
I will try and find it as I need it year round; I have used La Roche- Posey for years in the fluid mineral form but I am not sure if it’s enough in summer in a tropical place
I have used it too but on that chart it looks like it still allows some color through; I’m kinda iffy about it now (need to research more)
I just purchased the CoTZ tinted mineral spf 50 from Ulta. it leaves a very dewy finish though!
@@raquell04 thanks for the tip! I will check it out
That face shield is so LA.
@LorryHill, Shakira looks like she’s had some obvious cosmetic enhancements. I’m wondering what she’s had done. Looks like a lover’s revenge procedure. ❤
Can you do Kate beckinsale !
You should look into heliocare supplements a since you’re so militant about sun protection
Can you please do a video on Chloe Ting? In just 2 years her face looks completely different.
Hello! Are those clothing items from amazon truly legit?? Like if they REALLY protect you from the sun or is it just a label to make it pricier.
love this!!
Thank you for watching !!
Do a video about Aishwarya rai's plastic surgeries
Interesting!
Lorry I know when you make Kpop videos you get a ton of black lash but I hope you make some more. It’s so insane how many young kpop fans believe that it’s all natural. It’s scary honestly
Pls do videos on sandra bullock and julia roberts
I am amused, how she tries to say in a positive way - they see you in the car only for a minute and than you are gone 😂😂
This video is really important. If you want to have a beautiful skin, you have to protect it every day, especially in the car.
I dont get why so many people are mad at this video. I was in japan this spring and many people there wear a lot of those things you mentioned. And if anyone knows how to protect oneself from the sun, its the east asians lol
So true !
I feel like all sunscreens burn my eyes. I end up crying my makeup off. I've tried so many brands with different active ingredients and have ended up avoiding my eye area all together. It's frustrating bc that is where It's most needed I feel!
Sunglasses will do the trick.
Good ideas but many of these just aren’t practical. I’m a very pale person living in nyc, it’s sunscreen, shady side of street, hat, umbrella, staying inside between 10 and 4. Tried and true without looking ridiculous.
I go to NYC every year (we have a place in Manhattan) never had an issue with any of these lol !!
What about these are impractical??? You might get some stares but that really all i can think of
Also she mentioned hats and umbrellas too?
I also always walk on the shady street side lol
@@raygin6581 Many were good ideas (as I said) but imo wearing long sleeves and gloves in the August heat of NYC (very hot & humid) is impractical. As for the visor, I’ve accepted being stared at for carrying an umbrella when it’s sunny out but can’t for looking like I’m living in my own private sci-fi universe. I personally prefer to be anonymous when possible and blend in with the crowd. It’s just my preference.
