She began as a 'Page 3 girl' I believe in 1990's. Like Kim, she was stunning when she began, got her boobs done, and they got bigger and bigger...I think thats where her addiction to surgery stemmed from. a lot of people don't experience these aesthetic procedures as very painful, especially if the surgeon is careful and gentle and the anestesiologist is good... but obv every person is different.

I think Kim is realizing how pretty she was before, through her youngest daughter Chicago. She's always mentioned how Chicago looks exactly like her. Maybe seeing herself through her child has given her an appreciation of her previous self.
i agree! a lot of people like to make all of her procedures about profit, or trends/ marketability. In this instance though, I feel it’s more psychological & reflective.
If she did it for her daughter, I think that’s a beautiful thing. Sends a strong message that she believes her daughter is beautiful!

This is how you definitely know you have crossed the plastic surgery line. When you have no place to go forward, so you start having plastic surgery to go back. And how will they look in another 10-20 years? What kind of upkeep have they basically committed themselves to? "The brows of the past" smh

Tonight, my 12 yo son said I wear too much makeup, that I dont need it. I spend 5 mins doing it, which is to say, I barely wear any. Imagine the impact that Kim changing her actual FACE is having on her kids. This will be massively impactful on their psyche
Probably much like all her mother's surgeries have had on her daughters. I hope not but most of the family & friends had procedures.
And her kids seeing her behind the scenes while literally ALWAYS in some sort of recovery from surgery after surgery! That’s got to take a strong memory to them. Sad.

I also noticed Kim's hump on her nose had returned. It looks so much better now. She never needed to get a single procedure in the first place. I didn't even know this was something that could be done (adding a slight hump) how interesting! Thank you Lorry for your take on this and for the information.

I’m curious how she withstands the amount of pain to repeatedly get all these surgeries cyclically. It sounds crazy to me.
Probably strong pain medication. And growing accustom to a certain level of pain. I can imagine one's pain threshold would adjust after a certain amount of time.

One factor must be high pain tolerance. My mother has the lowest pain tolerance of anyone I know, and she has no idea how anyone gives birth more than once. (I'm an only child.) Kim K has gone into labor 4 times! Injections and surgical recovery must not be much to her.

This is just confirming my personal belief that you should never mess with your face when it comes to plastic surgery. I've seen some people who are exceptions with life changing nose jobs or jaw surgery but otherwise aging and weight loss undos any gains.

Yes the people who look good with plastic surgery usually didn’t do much to themselves. Example to my mind is Tyra banks, just the nose job and left the rest alone. Kim was stunning, she didn’t really need to do all that. Same with Megan Fox.

Did any of you guys see her in 4K on American horror story this spring? You can see all of the filler and all of the like molding done to her face and I think she saw that and realized how hideous it actually looks up close and that’s why her face got redone again
You're right, most plastic surgeons say the fillers migrate in a short period of time. Even the actual face lifts often need to be redone after 10 years or less based on weight gain or loss & gravity.

I had my nose done about 20 years ago by Dr Fischer. Kim’s plastic surgeon. Sadly, it looks close to what it did before I had it done. The nose keeps growing as we age. How my slight bump came back I have no idea but this could be a natural age progression for Kim. I can’t imagine doing this on purpose.

I think in 2007 she already had work done - butt, lips and possibly something else on her face. I’ve been compared to this woman for so long and it made me insecure because I feel like the Walmart version of her. I have pictures of Kim from earlier that have since been deleted from the internet because I was researching her like crazy back them because people wouldn’t stop comparing me to her. Let me know if you want them Lorry. I’m not on social media so I won’t post them anywhere myself.

I think she’s tired of people looking like her. You can just go to the doctor and ask for her face. By going back to her original face it’s harder to copy …
I'd argue that, whether body dysmorphia is present or not, there is some vanity within all of us who engage in cosmetic procedures and surgeries.
I think in Kim's case she is dysmorphic, but is also using surgery to heal after being in a controlling relationship that extended into controlling everything about her look. This is her way of taking back ownership over herself, imo. Whether she knows it or not.
It’s definitely vanity she’s said on multiple occasions she’ll do whatever to keep her youthful appearance even eat 💩 so…. Vanity seems like the most likely option on top of the fall out from the marriage and other things I’m sure everyone’s got something going on to some capacity.

@@lovinglife419 Nah I never wanted implants, I prefer having a smaller chest, but I def thought the shape of my chest would be different lol. My mom also had a lift after having kids and I didn’t realize it until she told me. So I really thought this woman who had been pregnant and breastfed just had like really good genetics to still have higher placement, but nope it was surgery. I will also say that my aunt had her implants removed a few years back due to encapsulation and that made me firm in my desire to never get implants.
I think she wants to get back to looking as close to her original self as possible so that she’ll look somewhat like her children as they are getting older.

Im genuinly confused as how she can handle so much surgeries. I have around 8 myself - for medical reasons - and every time i have the next onr, it gets harder and harder to recover. Not only is it age, but also my body struggles more and more from the dammage and medication etc. So im not sure how the kardashians do this as if its going to the hairdresser, like something very minor..
Ditto! I just had two surgeries last year for endometriosis and adenomyosis, with egg freezing in between, and it wrecked me. I’m still recovering and will need the rest of 2024 to recover from 2023! I’ve talked to my GYN surgeon and she said it’s because of the inflammation surgery creates and all the work your immune system has to do to repair and heal afterwards.

Tbh I really do think she just has no control and doesn’t know what she wants. When she got too skinny she probably got scared that looked boring with no oomf to her body. No sensuality so she went and added more curve to her figure again.
With all of the advancements done to her face and body, you’d think we could be leveraging those surgeon’s impeccable skills to focus on those who need facial reconstruction surgery.

I think Kim looks amazing! Lorry, can you do a video on how these celebrities treat their scars and skin stretching from these surgeries? Especially Kim for having so much done, you never see scars and her skin always looks tight but I can imagine even in the face with the implant and filler removal, it must sag the skin? Then with the bbl removal too. It would be interesting to know what they possibly do to treat scars and skin!

I can’t imagine what it’s like to be constantly undergoing surgery like this. Where do these people find the time? How do they recover? They never really seem to be out of the public eye. I just don’t understand. Is going under anesthesia this often even healthy? Do they all have painkiller addictions? How does this work?

There’s something about a large nose and if a nose hump that can make one’s eyes more beautiful and alluring, at least with some people. Barbara Streisand comes to mind, her nose made her more stunning in her youth, especially with that 1960s/1970’s eye makeup
MOST people do not look good with a "ski slope" nose. I'm seeing an increasing number of people putting their humps back with filler after years of disliking the results of rhinoplasty.

Perhaps seeing Chicago growing up (being a literal Kim mini me) had me her look at herself in another light and maybe she is trying to recapture herself, specially being SO MANY women basically achieving almost the same face as Kim with plastic surgery. So many clones of hers. I hope that is why because she never needed any surgery in the first place.
She definitely didn't need all the face surgery. She had natural beauty and would have looked younger aging naturally with good skincare and healthy diet.

I saw some recent photos of her at the beach and her rear is still enormous. I will never understand why anyone would do that. Her original nose was perfect. Exotic looking. I think her lips are still huge. Not sure I agree with you on this one Lorry except maybe she switched cheek implants to smaller ones. And she's reducing the botox. That's a good thing 🤗

this is so conflicting - clearly she's going for the nostalgic, 'classic kim' look and it'd be easy to admire her taking a more natural look but she's doing this with further surgeries - it's still unattainable. and, based on her entire brand, this is probably her goal. she is still unattainably beautiful, but people will presume she's "going natural" and that'll be the topic of discussion on her looks - she'll be praised.

Hi Lorry! Great video as usual. My honest opinion, I think she finally realized the "maintenance" of TRYING to be a human barbie was literally too much for her. If you aren't naturally made that way, no amount of money, surgery or efforts can keep you that way. She was never meant to be "tiny, barbie like, tiny waist, basically perfect" she is now the way she was "then" because she realized, try as she may, it just wasn't in her make up to look like she was trying to look. Now, it seems that entire family is falling back to what they started out being. The take away being, No amount of money can make you perfect if you don't already have it in you at some level.

I recently saw an interview Lady Gaga did where she said the thing she missed the most was normal human interactions just as a regular person and not a Lady Gaga, the ultra famous musician. And she seemed genuinely heartbroken as she was saying it, it was really sad. I know people are fond of saying ‘wELL tHeSe CeLebRitiEs aSkEd fOr iT’ which sure, to an extent they did. But I don’t think anyone could have predicted the level of fame she was going to attain at the outset. I don’t think a lot of these celebrities can truly grasp what it’s like until it happens to them or unless they grew up in Hollywood already.
I don’t think it’s possible for this kind of thing not to mess with a person psychologically. I think Kim absolutely does have moments where the scrutiny and inability to live life as a private, non famous citizen gets to her. I don’t see how it couldn’t. Pretty much no human appreciates constant scrutiny and surveillance, it has to be utterly exhausting no matter how privileged you are.
Do feel sorry for her and others about the constant scrutiny
