Thanks for uploading this nice little series for those of us thinking of trading from home. At the moment, I'd only be intersted in doing this part time. If you are able to suggest some of the cheaper trade insurance companies out there, that would be great. I am not sure £2600 a year on insurance is going to cut it for me though and definitely not part time.
To get trade insurance, you have to go through a broker. My other half spoke to 6 companies explaining everything we needed to all of them, then waited for the best offer, 2600 was the best offer
Congratulations and best of luck. Big step big risks and hopefully big rewards will be staying tuned to watch you progress. This is an idea I’ve played with for years so be great to see how it goes 👍👍
Is it worth becoming FCA from home? Never actually registered myself but the done lots of yearly tests as a salesman. Also finance a minefield with extra consumer rights. Im doing what your doing but will wait for premises before FCA registering.
Thanks mate, I’ve only just come across your channel. I’m looking to start my own business too so I’ll definitely be keeping up to date with your videos. Brilliant video and good luck pal 👍
Good luck to you and thank you for the info. One question please, do you know if 'part time' trade insurance is available? and at what approximate cost? Surely there are folks that want to start the same thing with maybe selling a couple of cars a month compared to maybe 25 ?, just to top up a different full time low income? Did you look into this at all? Many thanks.
I see a few issues here . Your renting, your landlord aware of this because most won't allow you trade from home . Start up businesses won't pay you a wage for many months, you will struggle to find the money each month without extra income. Warranties ?? Be prepared for rejections and you need big money in the bank as a backup. Good luck with the journey
I wouldn't waste the money on a finance license you won't be selling enough to justify it and you can use brokers without having a license yourself. much better
Do not offer finance on cars under 10k. Youll have cars rejected forever Never had fca and wouldn't in my world sold cars up to 20k and never had anything financed
The very best of luck .. the hours and the public can be a pain but you certainly know how to present a car .
Very good video mate full of great information it will help a few of us that are getting started. Keep up the good content bro 😎

I know someone creating new a DMS system, will be looking for testers soon. Would you be interested in that?
Congrats on taking the leap! What’s your plan with regards to storage of vehicles?
I have parking for roughly 8 cars on my drive
Local council might not like that nor will landlords
Only selling 5 or 6 landlords are fine and council are aware as we have applied for a new business grant
Best of luck!
Good luck 💪 Sue 😊
Thanks sue
Hi mate, what’s the name of the trade insurance company you are with?
Axa through a random broker

When you do an online quote the broker will call you with there best offers
Good luck with the business bro, I'm sure you'll smash it! Which bank will you be using for the business bank account?
Probably a monzo business but for now just my personal
@@drivewaylife Last time I checked, car trading wasn't a business type that Monzo support/allow. I'm thinking of opening an account with Mettle.
You can't legally do that
Business banking is a minimum
