Hey, hey look, hi, look at the sky for you're all mine, goodbye for now. For anyone who doesn't know what this song was, it was a critique on the 'otaku' problem in Japan and the struggle they progress through as they continue to live that lifestyle. As shown, I have split this into 9 different stages and I will provide a rough summary for each stage.
Stage 1: Addiction. This is the start of this whole cycle. It is the main reason why this is a problem and it is difficult to escape this cycle as shown in later stages. Stage 2: Consumption. When you get too addicted, it begins to consume you and your addiction deepens, further increasing the difficulty to escape. Stage 3: Addiction Worsens. This is simply what addiction does to you. It consumes you more and more until it gets worse and worse to the point of no return. Stage 4: Rejection. This is exactly as the name suggests. The 'otaku' shown in the video struggles to stay with his girlfriend because of his addiction so they break up. Stage 5: Suffering. An otaku lifestyle is a hard one and it comes with many downsides, such as the detriment of their social skills. This was illustrated better in the lost video here on TH-cam but after the otaku's breakup, his suffering worsens as well and his girlfriend turns into a creature-like version of herself.
Stage 6: Fighting Addiction. The 'otaku' gets motivated to try to stop his addiction and tries to fight against it to stop it. This was perfectly illustrated as the otaku is shown in a first person type of perspective, like a video game, while he shot the 'enemies' which were shown as many clones of his girlfriend. Stage 7: Inspiration. This happens right before the final battle which is part of the same section in the song, but I decided to split them into different stages as it made more sense to me. The lyrics are sung as if she was speaking to his now ex-boyfriend directly and I took this as him being inspired for his final fight with her. Stage 8: Final Battle. Inspired, he tries his best to fight against the 'evil girlfriends' but in the end, he ultimately loses as he is overwhelmed by them. His memories of his girlfriend are shattered, sending him to the next stage. Stage 9: The Cycle Continues. As he is being overwhelmed, the scene is illustrated with the otaku's head slowly floating to the ground and then it zooms in to show his face in the exact same position as it was in the very beginning of the music video. I hope this helped anyone who didn't know the (roughly) true meaning of this song! *TD;DR:* An 'otaku' tries to stop his addiction but trying to do so only makes things worse. He had a girlfriend but eventually doesn't want anything to do with her anymore and ends up in the same place where he started, caught in the perpetual cycle that cannot be broken.
@@ayoutubersfan8603 You reminded me to follow up to this thread so I got to finish where I left last time (Stage 6-9) I hope you enjoyed reading my point of view for this song :)
I honestly love the theory that it's about a girl who loved a guy who became too obsessed with porn (fictional or real - doesn't matter)/an otaku (a hardcore one). We also get some of it from the song itself. In the video we clearly see how the guy enjoys it, but after it all turnes into some madness which is shown to "destroy" him. We also see the girl - his girlfriend on her knees, begging him to stay with her insted of that crazy world/blue haired girl(porn). We see flashbacks of them being happy together, and then come back to his room. He's alone, with some sexualised figures and posters. And after he wakes up his creepy obsession "comes" for him and takes him back. He tries to fight it to save both himself and his girlfriend - most likely her image that he loved before. The image of real her. But his porn addiction makes it impossible, and in my opinion the fight with these girls to get to his girlfriend was a try to stop watching porn and get back to reality, but he couldn't. His obsession wins and he literally "loses his head". In the end of the MV we could also hear his ex-girlfriend saying "good bye". So I think it's a decent theory. Some phrases I'd like to use as a base for all of this (I won't write them word to word, just the main meaning): Tell me now, how you felt when we were together, tell me why do I always think of you? - refers to the girlfriend always thinking of the boy even tho he doesn't spend his time with her anymore. You told me I will become your little one - imo refers to simple sayings that lovers tell each other: you're my baby, you're the only one I need etc. Are you sure you haven't created and molded an idol out of me? What you see, is it me? - refers to the fact that the guy can't look at his girlfriend without comparing her to his new obsession (let's say the blue haired girl who's the definition of porn here) and he can't see his girlfriend the way he used to. It took a blow to divide our days together - refers to the thing that his porn obsession separated them. Love me, feel me, please come back to me, I'm here - is the girl's cry to the guy. She loves him and wants him back. I wish to reset it - refers to the girls wish of going back and stopping him at the very beginning. I still remember your sent - might be that the girl doesn't let him contact with her physically because she's afraid of what he can do or that he's the one who doesn't want to touch her because she's not a porn star/his perfect idol etc. Please remeber what we had in our fairytale - refers to the girl wanting the guy to remember what they both were used to be - a happy couple from a "fairytale". I'll be waiting for you even tho it hurts - same here. The girls loves him and doesn't want to let go. The big "bass" part is the moment where the girl finally breaks and lets all the anger to overflow her. This is the choice to change your life. It's the time to make decisions. But will you? (+The last messy part) - are her final words to the guy, as she sees that she can't help him anymore, so she just leaves, leaving him alone in his room, where he wakes up right after her saying final goodbyes. I'm hapy she left him tbh, she deserves better.
My Analysis on the video and song: This song (and video) is about a heartbreaking relationship between a girl and her porn addicted boyfriend. Although they were happy together, the man we see in the video is heavily addicted to porn and the sexualizations of his interest. This addiction slowly changes his mindset on his lover, to the point he starts over sexualizing her. He fantasizes about her so much to the point that he sees a completely different person than who she is. The “evil” version of the girl we see in the music video is how he seeshis girlfriend in his head due to his porn addiction; this is why the music video is so sexual and why she tries to “consume” him in throughout it. His girlfriend is obviously hurt by this, crying out and reaching for him to see who she really is. (The worse part is that she most likely found this out possibly via a sex addiction between the two of them or sexual advances made by the boyfriend.) This gets to the point where it breaks their relationship, but she still doesn’t want to let go of him. She wants things to work out between them, but it’s his responsibility to change that. Eventually, he doesn’t give up and changes for his girlfriend. (Even if it was through video game style 😭🙏 ((girl we could’ve had a better metaphor than thattt)) Anyways, he tries to stop his addictions on to be met with failure and gets consumed by it once again. This creates a loop in the process (and in the video), missing the one he lost and constantly trying to battle it only to failure.
After doing research, this video taught me the real reason i lost the love of my life. Everything makes sense now. From today on forth, im done with porn, im done with everything lewd. Ive never had such a massive internal realization in my life. Thank you Daoko and teddy loid. Yall likely saved me from becoming the man depicted in the video. Im young enough for it to not be too late, thank you for waking me up.
I still remember the video, I feel like my life is slowly turning into this. I don’t know how to break free. I don’t want to lose the closest to me because of this addiction
@@HalasterBlackCloak-u2wHoly shit that’s a horrible of thinking, who would want to stay around someone that doesn’t see them as a living, thinking being but as an object for their fucked up sexual desires? You do realize that some people don’t change even after communication, therapy, etc and that women shouldn’t risk their sanity, individuality and their life so that men can continue to take advantage of them.
I keep seeing people in the comments wishing for a happy ending. There is no happy ending for an addiction. He clearly is suffering from a porn addiction, going through the 5 stages of grief. Nothing is never going to get better for him due to him continuing this cycle, endlessly. If you watched the video, you can see that because of his addiction he was completely monetized to sex or porn making him not care for his past girlfriend at all. Leading to them breaking up, I would assume. He then tries to break/stop his addiction and fails. When he says “I remember your scent”, to him, it’s a realization of her. Making him wanting to break/stop his addiction. Like I said before, he fails. Completely starting the cycle over. I might be wrong here but, I thought when the mini figures came to life and started crawling on him, those were anime characters that he looked up porn of. Again a stretch, but maybe. If you have never seen the music video then you won’t understand the thing above.
He was suffering from all different sorts of addictions besides porn. Cigarettes, gaming, anime and porn were mentioned. Its talking about addictions in general and how the process of living with these feels like. The constant loop of enjoying, regret, overcoming, failing, acceptance and repeat.

I wish I had paid attention to the lyrics when I was younger instead of focusing on the horny of the video (which is why I tried to find the music video again just now). I wasted 4 years of my life on a boy (because I refuse to call him a man even though he is older than me) who is a porn addict and only ever saw me as an object. Sure, he helped me out of one of the shittiest situations in my life, but he barely ever saw me for me and would only ever show me affection through sex. Otherwise, I was nothing to him. I almost cried with these lyrics, but now I'm with someone who actually loves me, and despite his own past tragedies (unfortunately of the sexual kind) does everything he can to be a good man and we heal together.
I legitimacy forget that this song existed until I randomly remembered the Japanese artist that goes by nano, hysteria is a I really use to listen to on repeat for ages. Listening to that song just now. Just reminded me of this song. Isn't having adhd fun! (Sarcasm so deep, it is never ending lol)
to people trying to revisit the original ORIGINAL music video, youtube decided to burn it so uhhh go to another website that has the original music video
The sad part about this song is that although its so clear that someone is struggling with the addiction even after attempting to make change all of the fear, negativity, and internal struggles hold them back so their partner tries to get their attention again and again and in the end they attempt one last time before finally having to just take their leave. Its so sad to think that this stuff is so normalized because it leads to stuff like this. Porn ruins lives. It really is sad.
“Trying your best isn’t always enough / What’s the plan for you, can I call your bluff?” It’s actually crazy how this bar happens to rhyme in both English and Japanese
You are very talented at this; the lyrics for sound effects look cool, tho I understand it can be unintentionally funny; you could maybe work with special effects, idk; but anyways, really good job

Trying your best isn't always enough, what's the plan for you, can I call your bluff?
I await the day when you realize that it's all in your head.
You have no where to hide, right by your side,
I'm right by your side, I'm not leaving for I loved you oh so much.
*[STAGE 9: THE CYCLE CONTINUES...]*
Hey, hey look, hi, ah, hey, hey look, hi.
Bro, you have may upmost respect! Thank you for this 🙏🏼
Stage 6: Fighting Addiction.
Some phrases I'd like to use as a base for all of this (I won't write them word to word, just the main meaning):
Tell me now, how you felt when we were together, tell me why do I always think of you?
I'M CACKLING AT THE SOUND EFFECTS FOR THE BEAT DROP.😭 But fr, the edits are actually really good.
3:09 god i fucking love this part SPECIFICALLY the original animation holy hell its a work of art from there on
sounds like the dune srdukar chant
I love the lyrics and the video itself. It’s so sad but yet so beautiful.
Does anyone notice that the music is based on the stages of grief?
why is nobody talking about 4:21 ..
like the vocals and the instrumental fit so well together somehow and gives off cool vibes i can’t explain
This is the funniest lyric video I’ve ever watched. 10/10 will watch again.
My Analysis on the video and song:
This song (and video) is about a heartbreaking relationship between a girl and her porn addicted boyfriend.
Unironically, I really love this song and your editing skills are incredible!
How is this so underrated?! This was really helpful, tysm!!!!
Happy that it helped you, it was a blast to make it
I really like the Brainpower Lyric video Style, and how it still holds on after so many years
Apologizing to this song for thinking it's some cringe sexual anime video but its really just warning us about the dangers of p0rn addiction
BWEAAAAAAAA WEE WEE WOOOO VRUMMMM 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️❗❗
Oh my god the lyrics on the video gives me goose bumps cause OMG ITS SOOOO GOOOODDD
2:55 ah yes, my favorite lyrics of the song.

Dude I love the way this was made!!! ❤
THX 😜
This is incredibly underrated!! I think it’s so cool and then that touch when beat drops is amazing 😂😂😂
Just broke up with him because of this very situation
Hope both of you can recover
His hentai addiction?
I always wonder: Do you girls breakup bc it is truly abusive or just bc you dont want to stick around for the hard boring parts?
You're right, whenever you want to break the addiction, need to be more determine. If not, you'll be in a cycle again.
He was suffering from all different sorts of addictions besides porn. Cigarettes, gaming, anime and porn were mentioned. Its talking about addictions in general and how the process of living with these feels like. The constant loop of enjoying, regret, overcoming, failing, acceptance and repeat.
@@agiyx8591Damn this comment and OP comment hits ya in your feels especially if it’s a real life situation in your life. Reading comments like yours and i’m just reflecting on an old relationship i had. He was a porn addict, everything i did felt like i wasn’t ever good enough for him.
The dubstep lyrics frickin killed me. LOL
This whole video is great though, I feel like people are just talking about the song and the animation but this video and its editing deserves some love.
the sound effects lmao i laughed so hard i cried 🤣 great job, looks official
this is amazing! the amount of effort! it looks like an official lyric video :)
Also props to you for creating this amazing lyric video! I loved it so much
Oh my!
These are the same lyrics used for the English cover of Ashly!
How amazing
I used already translated English lyrics for this, I thought I put the channel that I got help from in the description, I’ll have to fix that.
I DIED AT THE SOUND EFFECTS LYRICS 😂 THANK YOU
Wow ive known this song for 6 years and never knew what the lyrics were saying, now im sobbing at part 2
As much as I miss the actual animation for this song (I grew up watching that version before it suddenly vanished sobbing internally.. it was so good especially with the video game like animation in it...😔💔) the lyrics for the bass and snyth is just top notch perfection
Its okay. Me and many others have it saved. Its still out there
what even happened to the OG vid????
I wanted it as inspiration for a vid with my ship 😔😔
@@DirtyBlueDahlia TH-cam nuked it. Good luck finding it.
@@tatewinters5565 yeah I thought so, it wasn't very family friendly but the song slapped (it's on Dailymotion lets fuckin GO!)

this is the first time i ever saw the lyrics. actually so deep holy shit. never see this song the same way again, been listening for years. i enjoyed the music and vibed, now i understand the lyrics and feel
I was scrolling through the comments wondering about the sound effects part but pls I am light headed, that was so funny and unexpected XD
Absolutely fantastic lyric video, wonderful job
i love how it swaps from a sweet anime song to a disturbing hard song
BRAA EUURR WEBWAA bro great video, wubbylyrics also a hilarious and great choice lol
That part 50 seconds in is too strong for me, I love the audio.
I like how you did the lyrics. Its like the lyrics is dancing to the song. Especially when the beat drop
Not to be that guy but the last part is completely wrong. She's not speaking English.
She says
"Eien no ai wa
Mede no naka
Eien no ai wa
Tashikani
Dokoni mo
Mo nai"
Which roughly translates to
"Eternal love
only exists in distress
Eternal love
certainly
doesn’t exist
anywhere anymore"
Honestly, this sounds amazing.
the lyrics for the switchup had me rolling xD
thank you kindly for the video!!
this is so well done, great job man
0:55
This will always be my favorite part personally ✨
it's everyones favorite
Relatable lyrics :3 (am i the only one here listening to this still?)
YO! the EDMLRYICS! I haven't seen that style of vid in years! Kudos!
the 2:57 part is so nice that it should be a whole song tbh
The comment section is full of deep thoughts while Im here just remembering those days when this song came out n I had nothing to worry about.
this is awesome omg i love the effects and the lyrics for the sound effects was amazing too this is so good 🫶
Very impressive! Great job, friend! The misspelled words are a little distracting, though… but other than that, I can see how you took the time and care for the visuals. The “sound effects” made me laugh!
This is one of the BEST lyrics video i have ever seen. It makes me want to send you money even.
No need..
the lyrics are great, one of the greatest videos XD
This is awesome. Finally, a SFW version. But next time can we maybe get the Japanese text, romanji, and maybe vocalist color- coding ( obscure joke. Iykyk.)
The music was awesome and catchy at the time that I had first discovered the original music video. I never knew the real meaning to the video, but had my guesses. The lyrics and some comments here and there really seal the deal on the guess from years ago and I am left in awe that the dubbed lyrics are made in such an awesome way. 😎
4:07 IS SUCH A BANGER PART, from this till the end of song!! I like it overall, but i can listen to this part for hours!!
0:57 whoever made this part of the song famous, i just want to say thank you.
Thx for the accurate lyrics (even though i had to slow to 0.75 at times cuz' english is not my first language, and even so it was a bit too fast x'D the VFX you made are beyond awesome still!!)
ive seen the origanal vid, wondered what the lyrics were, catchy tune.... then if found the dubbed ver. youres is well done, i salute you. make more translations and keep the beat!.... (mr.yacnac)
What is the original version??
I still can't find the sauce
@@animadas2306It’s barely even sauce. It may be sauce, but if you understand the message it’s honestly quite disturbing.
@@DergyDauog I have apparently understood the message (lyrics and what it tries to convey) & yeah disturbing in a sense
This is possibly the most depressing song ever made.
THIS PART MUST BE NAMED "overthinking" 1:32
yessss
really loved this part
wish i knew more songs like it
I just found thisand wow, it literally just captured me, the changes of sections, the speed and how different are the sections, it's really f*cking good to listen to
Bussaboob bullets was my favorite part. I'm just saying. And keeping a straight face was hard when the beat dropped. I appreciate you so much lol
Your amazing at making lyrics videos
I feel this on an emotional level
That was SO well made!
Such an amazing vid
Great edit! Well worth watching. Thank you.
3:04 Thank you for the lyrics
to people trying to revisit the original ORIGINAL music video, youtube decided to burn it so uhhh go to another website that has the original music video
" i waited for you."
"I loved you."
I wish the last sequence was a full song it sounds so good the rave vibes hit hard
Thank you so much for this.
🙂❤️
You are very talented at this; the lyrics for sound effects look cool, tho I understand it can be unintentionally funny; you could maybe work with special effects, idk; but anyways, really good job
Told someone to check out this video, came here to rewatch myself, and realized I hadn’t saved it to my music playlist yet.
YAY! 1 million views! Congratulations:)
