Could you please review the dash cam feature that can be purchased via Mercedes Me app store, which uses all current cameras and "convert" them into a dash cam. Apparently not many people know about this feature. it is available in U.S. market Also, for GLS 450, in case of emergency when no power is available to power fold chairs, how do passengers in third row escape to safety? Can 2nd row seats be manually folded so people in 3rd row can get out? There are red tabs attached to the 2nd row seats and wonder if you could explain those red tabs.
I don't recommend MB dashcam because it doesn't use all the cameras, only the front one. And for that money you can get much more advanced aftermarket dashcam system for much less $$. Thanks for the video. I have the latest GLB with all the options, except for the 360deg cameras (only front and rear ones + sensors). In the store with my car associated, it shows this app available, but not sure if it can work capturing the pictures (I hope so, of course only front and rear). What do you think?
It should, but it requires Parktronic with 360 Camera Park Assist. So if you have the front camera, it means you have 360 coverage. And also, you must have MercedesMe app active.
Such a great video! I believe I have Guard 360 feature in my 2024 GLE (w/ Exclusive trim). For some reason, I don't see the "Collision Notification" part of the UI. I only see "Interior Motion Sensor" and "Tow-away Protection" in "Vehicle Protection" view. Do you have any idea why? In the Mercedes Me app, though, I see "Collision Detection" option is ON. USB drive doesn't need to be plugged in, right?
No, you don't need USB. GLE model is slightly different than the one in the video, but overall works the same. Do you have a sticker "Guard 360," on the window, as I showed in the video?

Thanks for showing this new feature! I have a question relating to front windshield wiper operations. The first setting (knob turn) is the auto slow interval wipe. But when driving on the highway with light rain, the wiper started wiping crazily until I could hear the blade hitting the windshield frame. I had to keep the wiper on and off manually which defeat the purpose of automatic. I use rainx on the windshield and just requires minimal wiping usually on the highway. Is there a feature to slow the wiper down or adjust the rain sensitivity so I don't loose my wiper blades or damage it? 2018 GLE43. Thanks Master!
Besides reacting to the rain, the automatic wiper also reacts to the speed. Because the faster you go, the more water accumulates on the windshield. There is no problem with wiper to work very fast. However, if you see it hitting outside the windshield, maybe it got misaligned. You need to remove it, align it, and install it back. Also you may use the "slow" mode for wiper, instead of "auto-slow."
@@MBZMaster Thank you! Yes I prefer the slow mode over the fast auto-slow. But with RainX treated windshield, I don't really need much wipe. When you said misaligned, do you mean the wiper arm or the wiper blade? Not sure how a wiper blade can be off, since there is only one way to install it. Thanks again!
Big thanks to you. Which package i should activate to use Motion sensor and surveillance system? I activated 360 Guard yesterday and today came to know, it will just notify policy to track the vehicle etc. It doesn't have motion sensor. My 400 Euros gone :(
That's strange, because all the 22' E-Classes in the U.S have it even without Guard 360 system. You need to clarify it with your local MB dealership where you live.

I also have an e class from 2019, unfortunately this function does not work although when I bought it it said it was in the package, I went to Mercedes and only new models have this function, probably from 2020 +
So if I am asleep at 2am and someone manages to break in and steal it, then what? Will they try to locate the car whilst I'm fast asleep? Or do I have to push a button on my phone to start the process? If that's the case, I wouldn't be waking up until about 6 30am in which case, it would be too late.
Guard 360 is designed for hit and run while your car was parked, or if someone tries to steal something from inside the car, so you get images of who did it. Also, if your car gets stolen, it can be located via the Mercedes Me app. Otherwise, make sure to have good car insurance!

I updated my Mercedes Me app on iPhone and now my vehicle is not showing. But when logging in via mercedes me website it shows my car and limited info like mileage and gas tank. How can i get my car info back ok the app? I enter VIN but says i have to go to dealer to get ID verified? Never did that before. Shouldn’t have updated app.
Make sure to enter the correct login credentials. Maybe different email than your iPhone? Or stop by at any nearest MB dealership, and they can reset it free of charge for you, by verifying your identity.

Hi! Would you please explain to me why the rear suspension of my Benz 400 GLE (2018) drop when the car is parked (not used for a day for example). Then, when I turn on the engine, the rear suspensions gradually elevate and return to normal.

Well, does this system send any picture or video to the cell phone? Or, is it possible to access them if car is stolen and no access to the QR code from the car? I know Blackvue offers such option.

You have to have Mercedes Me app installed on your cell and active. Usually it's activated during the purchase of your car and free for about 3 years. Any cloud or data services require subscription and additional fees.

@@MBZMaster when looking the spec sheets it is the exact same code as the Guard 360 on GLC! On the e-class it is called urban guard, so i reckon it will be the same.
I added an external hard drive to my S Class (2023). However, I only see the front-facing camera when I view the recordings. Does it not record on the other cameras as well?

Not every model is capable. Check with your local Mercedes dealership to see if you can add it to GLC.

No Guard 360 on 2015 models, but it still has some basic security including Starter Kill, and Door protection.

It has to have 360 Parking package and active Mbrace app. Some models don't have it due to a world wide microchip shortage.

Does the collision work on smaller bumps? i mean realistically somone is not gonna bump back and forth for 10 seconds..
The 10 seconds delay is only for motion detector to prevent false alarms, not for bumps.

My radio wasn't working so I purchased the same model and installed it, but how do I get beyond the anti-theft activation on screen?
If you bought a radio and it has security, it should came with a PIN number to open it.

If you park on the incline, the car may try to level itself.

Urban Guard is not available in the U.S., so I'm not sure if it's the same as "Guard 360". Check at your local MB dealership.
@@MBZMaster when looking the spec sheets it is the exact same code as the Guard 360 on GLC! On the e-class it is called urban guard, so i reckon it will be the same.
I added an external hard drive to my S Class (2023). However, I only see the front-facing camera when I view the recordings. Does it not record on the other cameras as well?
@TriciaStCharles You don't need an external hard drive for Guard 360. It's for the Dashcam system that I demoed in my other video here th-cam.com/video/LUrm5sX7CVM/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for your answer,there isn’t Vhicle protection in menu just open close and not more sub menu.
@@XanaBahmani Maybe it's not activated. Check with any of your local MB dealership if there is a way to activate it.
