I see this team as weighing heavy on opposing teams. If they do not have depth it is a matter of time before fatigue sets in and the team breaks. I love seeing our Vols playing more young players and constantly being able to bring heat. Jordan Ross is a beast! I'm smiling thinking about the young O-line Coach Josh Heupel is putting together. If you are a young talented running back it would be a dream to run behind this unit. GBO

Our opponent's offensive lineman are in for a long day. We are relentless. We are gonna see some lineman tapping out at some point not wanting any more of the smoke that we are bringing.

Thanks a lot! It will be interesting what teams do from week to week to try and slow down our pass rush. I don't know that their is an answer for it except being able to beat us physically!

The tight ends are crucial to increase the advantage that this offense style uses. Using them as blockers mainly allows them to be wide open when they chip and go out as receivers... It was fantastical last night.
Nico’s 3rd career start and despite some rough drives he still had more yards than NC St did as a team. No doubt he’s going to get better game by game. Defense was absolutely stifling. GBO!!!!

I would like to see a breakdown of #9 on defense. I'm not sure who he is but he was everywhere!This season is the first season that I couldn't tell you who everybody on the field is. We have soooooo much depth, I can't keep up with everybody!
#9 is Jakobe Thomas he has looked good

I give him grace on that because he was playing through the whistle and the guy with the ball kept running like he had landed on top of the TN player who tackled him. Better safe than sorry and to make the tackle

I get Mizzou being in top 10 because of their schedule but I believe Miami would handle them. Miami got some holes in their game too but just hard for me to buy in to Mizzou, kinda hard to buy into Bama after yesterday’s performance. Texas is nasty for real. Our Vols are absolutely nasty, still room for improvement but only 2 games in. NC State converted first three 3rd downs and Ofer the rest of the game! I don’t feel there is a team in the Country that we couldn’t beat on any given Saturday, there are a couple teams that are on Vols level imo Texas, UGA! So happy and seems surreal where Heup and staff has brought this program in year 4 especially with what they started with. I have just been rambling, sorry but just excited. I have to give kudos to our freshman kicker, Max, and punter, Ross. Max hitting that 43 yd field goal was impressive. He missed on the 50+ yarder, but so do NFL guys. He'll get coached up. I loved the punt so far down the NC player thought it was going in the end zone and muffed it! So many good plays and players to talk about. GB🍊🍊🍊

I'd like to see the guys that played against Belton. The locked on Wolfpack guys were saying he's a NFL lineman and would shut down whomever faced him. Maybe not a full breakdown but definitely would like your assessment of how he did VS us.

Is it just me or did the D line seem to be holding back a little bit ? There were points in the game when they could’ve annihilated McCall but didn’t. I could’ve misjudged it but that’s just how it seemed to me. Also, you could tell Nico’s nerves were getting to him initially, simple mistakes but he cleaned it up. I give the entire team a B+. I believe it will be an A going into the OU game

It just me or did heup act mad during his conference after game i think he knows this team is good and has high standards for them. But i was very pleased with it i liked how they ran 12 personal out their. But one thing i loved was nico when he threw that pick desean bishop ran him down just like leacock did last week. That tells alot to me about the culture he has their.!
That's a great point about the effort and buy in Tristan! The goal has been a national title from the end of last year, and we did what we had to do to make sure we have all the pieces and everybody is on the same page! The team looks great so far, but we have to maintain it through a long season!

After seeing what Alabama looked like against usf i feel alot better about that game the Georgia game will tell us alot i feel like we have the depth to hang with big boys

Hey bull I wonder what the coaches are seeing but Andre turrentine and will brooks look good but in my eyes Jakobe Thomas looks like the best safety on this team he flies up make tackles and is very athletic coverage guy

Heupel was slow walking on several drives run that 12 man. Put the safeties to sleep then Nico drops a dime in Kistlemans lap for 6.
Tell me that officials weren’t a little one sided. The kistleman TD that was called back was ridiculous.
Almost seemed like that bet the under. Big 10 refs don’t like us.
Ya the Big 10 hates the SEC more than the other conferences, but I loved the game plan and execution! We have to keep it up and we can beat anybody!
@@bluechipbreakdown absolutely. This team is balanced and the offense in rhythm is unstoppable, defense is best I’ve seen in a long time. DBs looked great. McCoy and Gibson are dogs.
I think a lot of people are overreacting to this game. Our defense looked great no doubt. But Grayson Mccall was a basketcase. Up until that pick late in the 2nd quarter their offense was looking like it was in a groove and about to score. From that point on he was lost. I am sure the DLine nipping at his heels contributed but honestly after that point they went from Smothers to Waters and went to Joly over Concepcion. I am not saying we arent this good I'm saying lets wait till after at least Oklahoma before losing our minds and buying tickets to Atlanta.
Linebacker would be an interesting breakdown. Telander was playing well.

I know you’re busy but if you could please go back and look at Will Brook’s interception.
It’s my belief that Brooks bet on himself and jumped the route based on NCState’s NEED to get the ball to Concepcion.
He was gonna jump that route regardless if Joseph’s was being disruptive or not. He made up his mind to jump that route before Joseph’s feet left the ground.
I’m not taking away the effort that Josephs had on the play, I’m just saying Brooks gambled and it worked‼️ what say you ⁉️
