Do you like yours? I’m not sure if I’m getting either the Boden Essential or the Q52 but the plan is to try both in person and see if I connect with one of them (assuming something else doesn’t come along and I prefer that, lol). I’ll let you know but it probably won’t be until next year 😅.
@@bjackson4 not q52 but Qx52 which has slanted frets and double humbuckers. very very easy to play, with quite thin neck and that's why I want to see the comparison between qx52 and strandberg boden.🙂
I was able to grab one of these back in February. The bridger+vol knob position made me change my picking style a bit, and honestly, for the better lol. That's the only thing I've found as an "issue". Interesting on the neck finish though, I have no sticking issues. Great follow up!
Nice! I hope you’re enjoying yours. Was the volume knob too close? Or was it something else? Glad you aren’t having sticking issues though. It hasn’t happened a lot so when it does it catches me off guard. Thank you! I appreciate it 😄
I thought I would have to stop playing guitar because of my back. Then I got the Strandberg. Three things I like about it - ergonomics, ergonomics, and ergonomics.
string changer after a year :( most likely they burrowed into the 0 fret in combination with rust/oxidation, please change your strings more often... when they feel like sandpaper its too late
Great analysis!
Thank you! 😄
I have Ibanez Qx52. So I'm really looking forward to see the comparison video.

@@bjackson4 Yeah the vol knob is too close, I'm used to my sterling JP where the knobs are a mile away 😂
Gotcha! 😂 yeah that would definitely take some time to get used to 😅
I have a boden standard with no tremelo. If you can live without the tremelo you may find the standard bridge more comfortable.
Do you like yours? I definitely can live without it. I barely use tremolo systems. Thank you!

Glad you can still play! I do appreciate the ergonomics of this guitar 😄
Nice video!! If you ever sell the pickups let me know! At least the bridge :p
Thank you! Haha sounds good 😄

Yeah 😅. I’m definitely not doing that again. The strings didn’t feel awful though
