Runway actually listens to the feature requests, and pretty fast too.
Next thing I would like to see is 360° rotating shot anchored on objects in the center, like in product shoots.
This is amazing work. I'm making an animation, and when I use the motion brush on people, even if I apply a little too much intensity, the effect gets distorted due to the morphing effect. I think it's better suited for artistic photos or landscapes.
Finally we have something cool with AI videos to look forward to... Looks like a steep learning curve / trials and errors tho XD
i dont see this replacing character animation anytime soon, but typical vfx shots like that portal with particle animation works very good
Thanks, this was excellent. I wouldn't mind seeing a "cheat code" on effective prompts and motion-camera settings. As a base monthly user of RML the cost of re-roll's is really off-putting and costly, so any help on getting from A-B as efficiently as possible would be much appreciated. 🙏

This is great! Getting close to replacing After Effects for me which I usually use to animate characters with puppet warping etc on backgrounds for animated heros on websites. Only issue is they need to be a seamless loop.

Runway is ??? And will it run out fast with its limited tokens etc?
I'm guessing you have to do a load of re runs to get great results.
I think they should utilise 3D models and planes so that the ai generates a rough mesh to go with your first image which you can manipulate to decide where you want to end up and help it conform to it’s original form, like a kind of ai LiDAR/3D scan
This looks so promising, if only they could solve the temporal coherence issue.

I wonder if you dont include text prompt with the image, bc thatll put motion on EVERYTHING regardless of motion brush. The critical part here is that you want some parts to NOT move at all, which is the point of motion brush
I have found this to be the case. It’s better control of output when you only use the motion brush. Most of these are mostly unusable due to it trying too hard; too much morphing.

Leonardo ai and stability ai are still better with motion from image prompts
Yep, I've been really impressed by the quality of motion for Stable Video (via Leonardo and / or Comfy UI). Be great when we can get get longer clips, higher resolution and some level of control via text prompts and camera controls.
Yeah the morphing is aggravating as hell, not to mention costly if you're not in unlimited. On waitlist for stability.
I'm a new user, and it's already getting expensive, Runway could solve that problem by rendering a rough draft of what it looks like for free, then if you like the draft, generate that
I'm currently burning through my credits and getting results that are not what I'm after, anyone else have a similar problem?

I was obviously in a darker mood when coming up with some of these images...
this is all cool if all you want is melting smearing videos as if you were on psychedelics....needs a lot of training and progress...has very limited short uses
