thanks... i saw another video where guy used WD-40 on chain and limit switch assembly.. is White Lithium the best bet for both?
We use a silicone based liquid lubricant for the chain and a white lithium solid grease for the limit assembly.
Hey, thanks for the vid.. I have a Liftmaster CSL24V that shakes badly at the beginning and end of opening/closing. It sometimes does not run unless I give it a little help by pushing/pulling at the start of a cycle. Once it gets to moving it runs smoothly til it gets to the end and starts shuddering. Any ideas on what my issue is? I called a local gate co and they said it was $250 a hr for a tech... Yikes
Labor rate sounds fair for a licensed, non felon own/operated, established company that offers a money back guarantee, minimum of 3 year parts and labor warranty, Lifetime FREE safety classes (Gate Operator and Access Control), and lifetime weld warranty.
You need to have an expert look at it. If we were looking at it we would check power, obstructions, and faulty opener mounting in that order. It could be all or none of these. You need to have an expert look at it and work on it. Laypeople should not as this gate can hurt or kill someone even when working properly.
@@SafeguardControlsLLC Thanks, I do want a expert to look @ it. I am legally blind and would never try to fix this. If I were in Texas, I would call you. (Unless you do jobs in Atlanta Ga. LOL) The fence installer has tried a couple things (chain, rollers and belt and still not fixed. I think they are ok at installing but not teching a issue. Can you advise me to what type of company I can look for to fix this? A fence installer might be only as good as the guys who put in this .
