Hi. I boiled my snaper handle in water for few min , and flatened it out.. managed to get from 45° to 10° , and its not rigid anymore it has elasticity up to -5° degree.. so when I apply pressure on to the glass it flatens out .. but I also get feedback informations from the grip due to its elasticity .. its funny cuz I defected the tool and its working perfectly...i prefer it over other handles i have ..

It's a bit bendy like the Contour pro handle. I got one to. You ruined it to work really good.

I woulda done this by now but I'm still in love with my ex 2.0 handles, some are so shaky and old but I'm used to it. The extra long handle and swivel/position changing has saved me on many windows so until they bust I'll keep using them then buy more or whatever the 3.0 looks like. I'm sure this trick would be great but for now, I am monogamous with the ex 2.0. When I have enough down time I'll definitely try this though.

@@stevai6732 The standard handles are better to use for residential, smaller simple windows. You don't always need a complex handle for window cleaning. Sometimes simple is a pleasure to work with

After 2 yrs of usage and a long term follower I have hung up all but my Moerman pole setup as they are just too unreliable. My take on Moerman squeegees. "If an element of your product requires instructions or repeated adaptions to make work, then you need to redesign it."

Fair point. Ask yourself this. Why can I use them without any issue at all? Have I got the only ones that work? I tell people how to think, how to act, how to work. Reinvent yourself, evolve, adapt, don't do what everyone else does. I don't think anyone on TH-cam comes close to the info I put out. If you were honest, you'd agree with me. Take a break, try them again in a few months. Maybe buy some new channels, might be damaged. You can still be a good window cleaner without the tools and not work like everyone else. Have a reflect on what I said. Use those scrub gloves. Whatever you do, don't work like everyone else

Can you safely use the scrubbers on Low-E glass?

I'm not sure, I don't know about that glass. You can use plastic scrubbers instead of steel wool scrubbers to be sure. It should still stitch the same-www.amazon.co.uk/Absorbent-Recyclable-Stainless-Household-Galvanized/dp/B0CH35BN3V?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A1Z62XNGG7J24A

This is so good I can't wait to make my own. I'm scared of the scourer scratching glass though. I'm in the states. I think I already reached out to you on this. Many jobs I would love this profoundly, would help me so much. Sometimes, like today, I will need a big steel wool or whatever pad to do the whole window. My job today can be summarized as bug guts and bug poop. Have you ever scratched glass with these? I feel like that's such a dumb question but bare with me, I mean, the things are made for cleaning dishes ffs lol. Feeling like I'm asking "hey has that scourer ever scratched your glass cups??????" 😆 Cheers

To double down on what I mean is I've been told forever that 0000 fine grade is the only safe and most effective abrasive, as far as being able to get everything minus a scraper blade tier spot, regardless of rust. I used bronze wool and still have a bunch, but stopped using it because it flakes EVERYWHERE. It's nice that it doesn't rust but I gave up on that. Walnut pad seemed ok but I just use as water stain acid applicant on worst of the worse. Whitepad only for tint and cheap sketchy mirrors and glass I don't want to risk. Thx for any input.

So for now on either my pole pad holder and in hand I use steel wool I cut off a roll for very cheap and quick when I reup my box supply in my car, but this is a gamechanger I've been sitting on for over a year, the setup and abrasive you use that is.

We don't have tempered glass here. I think you do. I don't know how delicate that is. Unless there are windows with tint on on the outside glass, I haven't scratched glass. I've stratched glass with my squeegee rubber and washer, having grit caught in there and using a scraper

@@stevai6732 This is pot scrubbing material. It doesn't brake down. I use these all the time on every job practically. You don't need to press hard, they are abrasive, accurate and the pressure works better than a scrubbing tool. It's direct. You could look for a plastic pot scrubber alternative. They are out there. @@polznbladz3242 Fabricating debris is why tempered can be sketchy out here. I learned the hard way but the customer was an angel about it, I didn't know better, and it was just one pane albeit the front door to a nice cabin. Could have costed hundreds. It's only poorly made tempered. In the process of making the glass tempered the factory rollers aren't cleaned right and roll on debris only to burn glass shards into the pane in the final process. Lifting it off with a scraper means perma damage thx to shoddy manufacturing. Well made tempered that's made by an actually decent well-functioning company doesn't have this issue. There's a good old documentary/lecture on it I forget the guys name.
Anyways, I will definitely try this. I have plenty of test glass I can do it on. You're the only window cleaner I know who uses scourer but it's a genius idea I think.
