  • "The River Rangers" tells the story of Bob Stanley and David Michaels who were once river rangers for the US Forest Service patrolling the Wild and Scenic section of the Tuolumne River.

    It's great to see you two old dogs out there. Great work , Now they need to maintain the roads and do something about that bridge that gets it every year with Graffiti because it's absolutely disgusting and it's not safe for the environment.

    Twenty years ago, I patrolled this river for BLM. It's such a great resource. And yeah, real shame that TID won't put any effort into improving the take-out. So glad that USFS was able to have a presence down there. I hope that the patrols can resume--and I hope that we can get the roads rebuilt.

      It really is. The roads are the current issue now which really needs to be addressed because the current arrangement is not tenable.
