I wear Lalique pour Homme Lion EDP almost every day. It is one of my favorites. I get a lot of woody notes, especially cedar, something powdery/floral (maybe iris), and a touch of sweetness. And for that price for a 125 ml bottle anyone can be comfortable enough to basically wear it every day... I guess that goes for all of Lalique's fragrances.
Lion EDP and Encre Noire A L' Extreme are the two I currently own and I love both. It's worth noting that their list prices are over $100 if you would buy them direct from Lalique. These are high quality fragrances, just heavily discounted. They aren't made to be cheap.

a l'extreme is a beast in winter months. when I first got it spring 2019 I did not like it too much then I got a suggestion from Smells Good to spray it about 10-20 times and let it mature. 8 months later there was a big difference and it's one of my favorites
Equus is the only scent where I got completely unsolicited, totally unexpected complement, while on a holiday in Greece. A lady followed me around breakfast buffet area, eventually getting the courage to say she followed me because of that incredible scent! ☺ My wife loves it on me, too. Have the other ones, as well, although my wife doesn't like "the Lion" as much as the others. Haven't tried wearing the White yet, although had a good sniff of it at the perfumery counter. Like the scent, but I'm not so sure about it's longevity... Perhaps one needs to spray a bit more than others. And of course love the Encre Noire line... Haven't tried the Sport version yet, gave away one bottle I had, so need to repurchase it. The L'Extreme awaits the Fall/Winter time. Overall, Lalique is a incredible value as far as men's scents are concerned. Among the women perfumes, Lalique has some very expensive line as well, costing well over $100/bottle. I haven't seen anyone reviewing them, yet. Luckily for us, guys, Lalique hasn't gone that route with men's fragrances. 😁
Equus is INCREDIBLE. Personally I love the fact that many other people don’t know about Lalique. Their scents are unique. Lalique = unique (rhymes). Equus is one of my favorites.

Love the pour homme. It has that barber shop style but is so much more than your typical 80’s style fougere. After the first spray I knew it was one for life.
I have all of those and I like Equus the best. I’ve bought 5 bottles. Mostly testers. Just to have backups and give to family who lives in the country. It smells like a barnyard without the manure. Fresh hay and wood. It just smells so good and takes me back to the days of driving down a country road or visiting county fairs (once again without the manure lol). Love that scent and I’ve gotten multiple compliments.
Own the three Encre Noire´s, my favorite is rather the OG because of its inky vetiver note which does remind me of the smell of ink. The Sport is in my current warm weather rotation. The A L'Extreme is the one I´ve worn the least, kind of a night time elegant-refined smokey fragrance for cold weather, so haven´t had as many occassions for it. Have Lalique White too, very light and subdued, and after a comment from Sebastian (another fragrance TH-camr) compared it and it does have some similarities to Dunhill Icon. It's not leathery though, very light and subdued, and almost meditative. Equus and the Lion are in my wish list, have not smelled them yet.

On sweaty skin, a la l'extreme turns quite sweet on me. Very surprising the first couple times I wore it. Not a vetiver I gravitate to though. Like sweet nail polish remover. Pour Homme (lion) easily one of my favourite designers of all time. I swear parts of it were taken either from The Dreamer or Le Male. Very similar vanilla, and the cedar is just a dream in cold weather.

I got it last winter, I was 22 and my fiancé was used to my warm cozy winter time scents, I sprayed this on and loved it but she asked me what the hell I was wearing lol. Lalique,, yes i bought encre noir, i bought the encre al extreme or whatever, and i bought the encre sport. All nice, all have that dark inky note in them. The encere al extreme is what got me into the house, but the encre noir is deer to my heart in the end. The encre sport is an amazing office fragrance. THey have a very serious, mature vibe. The encre noir, i like to wear it alone, when im in the dark mood, listening to Dark ambience of gothic choirs and ancient cult music, in my evil living room with skulls and other darkness. lol
I love every Lalique fragrance I've tried except Pour Homme Equus... I just could not get over the hay / hamster-cage aspect to it. I have a rather experienced nose, but for some reason I could not like that one and had to sell it. The Encre Noir line - gold! The OG (lion) Pour Homme - so classic! The Hommage AL'omme and its flanker Voyager.. amazing stuff!
Great review video! I enjoy hearing your take on Lalique. My favorite is by far a’l extreme. I have the original also White. I do want to get the Sport version to complete the Encre Noir collection. I have not smelled Equus or Lion yet, I probably will buy a decant of both to test them out. Although I’m very curious about them, I’m not willing to blind buy those 2 because they sound challenging.

They are as equally linear. Sport is a perfected encre noir that adds a couple fresh notes but really isn't too different from the o.g. al'extreme is like turpentine, it's like the resin deep in a cedar.
Actually I think more people know Lalique for their artistic (especially art deco) crystal ... fragrances while good/great are (outside of frag heads) relatively little know ... a bit like the car company fragrances (Bentley, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz) or Dunhill (better know for cigarettes and lighters).
Lalique isn't a cheap brand everywhere (A l'Extreme is around 100 euros on Notino France, crazy price)! I think it shows how many brands are really over charging us though when they often (not always) become so much cheaper from discounters. The average bottle of scent probably costs less than 10$ to produce.
A great house IMHO. Other than EN, nothing earth shattering, but a good solid range which will ensure that you smell individual and classy and unlike anyone else if that's important to you. So when you're asked whether you are wearing a well known, mainstream frag; you can give a nonchalant, shrug and a "Mais non!", before leaving them to their thoughts. I rather like L'Hommage a l'Homme Voyageur. Nicely different. (Excuse spelling if that's incorrect.)
My experiences have been some best in my journey with these 4 from Lalique; good reference video. Other gems you might enjoy that I have from Lalique Group are Lalique Hommage a L'Homme (amazing), Bentley for Men Absolute (papyrus, oud, pink pepper), (you may already have Bentley for Men Intense, which is stellar), & Jaguar for Men (oldie but goodie). I will likely try Lalique Ombre Noire (if found, especially due to the myrrh, fig, cognac notes), & if resources permit Lalique L'Insoumis (camphor)... Jaguar Classic & Jaguar Excellence... Bentley Momentum Intense & Bentley Infinite Intense, all probably good.
Hi. Have you ever tried Lalique Le Parfum. It is promoted for women, but it is unisex. For me, at the 1st sniff - WOW. The magic lies in the dry down. If you haven't tried Le Parfum, then you've missed a gorgeous affordable "luxurious" scent. 😉
My exact thoughts! People always going on about al'extreme but to me it's too resinous and terpineol like. Still like it but it's not as versatile as people make it out to be. We have the unpopular opinion.
hello greetings brother my experience with encre noire to the extreme was strong I do not know if my nose is a bit virgin 😀 with some fragrances but when the smell uff strong smell I do not know if it was the note of incense but at the moment I do not like it and the I put it in my father's dresser with the sport, that did not happen to me and I liked it more, they were blind shopping just for the reviews but the next day I thought that the aroma was not so bad so I went back and took it from my father and I I have ready to see when I think about it, try it on me to see how it develops on my skin I think I should continue to get my nose used to smell more this type of fragrances to polish it with the fragrances of success and blessings.
Lalique is quickly becoming my favorite house. Overall quality for price ratio is unbeatable, and their scents almost always are unique.

They are much faster at shipping the product than fragrancenet. The latter is just horrible, sometimes 2 weeks or more.
Lalique has always been one of my favorite houses.I have quite a few of their offerings.With the quality and the price, they are top shelf.

Lalique has THE BEST bottle designs as they are primarily a luxury glass design company! Not many people know this!
